About this cottage rental

Hillcrest Cottage is minutes (2km) from the delights of Berry. Fully self contained with air conditioning and log fire, set in five acres on a quite country lane.

Hillcrest Cottage consists of four spacious rooms: an open plan lounge kitchen with a combustion fire, a large separate bedroom with a king size bed and a single off the dining room providing two separate private sleeping areas. A full bathroom with separate shower and bath. All floors are tiled, the ceilings high with lime washed timber. Enjoy a game of tennis on the full size tennis court . There is a gas stove with oven and bbq facilities.

Hillcrest Cottage is perfectly suited for up to three people. A welcome bottle of wine will be chilled for your arrival.

You may like to take walks down country roads, national parks, horse riding, bush walks to Drawing Room Rocks, beach hopping (Seven Mile, Gerroa and Werri Beaches are all within 18 minutes’ drive), as well as wine, jazz and garden festivals, musicals, and more.

You may prefer to simply sit on your own covered verandah with a glass of wine and enjoy the lush greenery, native wildlife, picturesque views and tranquillity. Towels, linen and toiletries are provided. Please advise if you are bringing a pet (breed) or child.

Non-smoking . Min two nights booking. All long weekend nights are charged at weekend rate.

You will be billed the additional person nightly fee ($30.00 p.n) for any extra guest including children ( 0 to 17)
if they are not included in the original booking.

This was our fourth stay at Hillcrest Cottage. An excellent position close to Berry and Nowra. Jannette is an excellent host; always makes you feel welcome including your pets. My only concern about this recommendation is that it may become too popular.

Janette the property manager was helpful and friendly. The property was clean and had a small indoor fireplace with plenty of wood available at no cost. We loved picking fruit from the orchard and our little dogs had an absolute ball running around the large property. The driveway was lined with trees in spectacular Autumn colour. Lots of rain for us but with Berry minutes away, we still found plenty to do and see. Thank you and we hope to be back again some day.

All spotlessly clean, comfortable and everything we needed. Only one problem - we would have loved to have stayed a lot longer. It was a lovely property and beautiful cottage. A relaxing place to stay. It was only two minutes from Berry but it felt like you were miles out of town. It was also only a 10km trip to Shoalhaven Heads beach via a pretty, quiet country road. The host, Janette, was very welcoming; kind and friendly but not intrusive. I really appreciated that I could have my dogs with me and Janette was very understanding of their curiosity of her property. Will definitely be back again and happy to recommend to others.

The property was very clean and we enjoyed except for the stove. We couldn’t cook on it as the circuit breaker kept tripping (3 times) and electricity would go off on all appliances in the kitchen. It really needs replacing. On both nights we didn’t want to go out and we used the hot plate to finish our cooking. Everything else was perfect just that little annoying thing. I thank the owner very much for making such a beautiful property available. My dog Archie settled in very quickly and was fascinated by Stanley. Thank you

You’ll have to make your own wi fi arrangements. Delightful pen for your animal/s, if required. Kitchen was over supplied with stuff in cupboards, leaving not enough room for one’s own supplies, etc. The stove is dated and barely adequate. Aside from this, our stay was comfortable and relaxing in a most beautiful verdant environment.

Perfect getaway within 5 minutes drive to Berry. Communication with the host was first class, the property was spotless and well equiped with large bedroom and modern bathroom. We took our two greyhounds with us and they had no problem settling in. Highly recommended.

We loved our little getaway at Hillcrest Cottage in Berry. Janette was friendly , welcoming and nothing was a problem .The property was well maintained and our pooch loved the freedom of the property to run free. The property had all the comforts of home and was very relaxing. We've stayed in various places around Berry, but Hillcrest Cottage is definitely the best. It's in a scenic area, close to Berry but very quiet. The cottage is clean and comfortable and our stay was very pleasant and relaxing. Janette, the owner, is very friendly and obliging and obviously keen to ensure that guests enjoy their stay. Being dog friendly is a bonus and our dog appreciated being able to explore all the interesting things on the property. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a place to stay in Berry.

We so enjoyed our stay at Hillcrest Cottage, Berry. Janette is a generous hostess, very approachable, friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was so comfortable and clean, just 2 minutes from the main street of Berry yet set beautifully in the Berry countryside. Delighted to be in peaceful green space and experience the nature around us – the birdlife, kangaroos, lyre-birds, wombats to name a few. This is the perfect base-point to venture to other nearby townships – Kangaroo Valley, Robertson, Kiama and Gerringong all quite close by. We were delighted with our stay.

Our host, Janette, was friendly , helpful and accommodating. Gracious and delightful. The accommodation was roomy and just what was needed for a great break away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and peaceful and close to Berry centre. We will return! It was so nice, comfortable and relaxing!
