Hier konnte man wirklich runterkommen!

Sehr moderne Einrichtung, der Schaukelstuhl war sehr cool! Meine Eltern haben sich richtig wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war mit frischen Obst jeden Tag, sehr lecker. Die Raum Kapazität wurde super genutzt und man konnte in den Zimmer wirklich runter kommen und entspannen! Die Betten waren super bequem.

Leider gab es nur einen Fahrstuhl, weswegen die Wartezeit etwas lang war. Für jemand der gehbehindert ist, leider unpraktisch. Aber ansonsten war alles top!

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and modern room with a lot of facilities e.g. netfix, fridge, coffee machine in every room, perfect location.Totally recommended.

Fantastic!

This hotel is beautiful right in the center of Chania. The bus station is a 5 ish minute walk. Very comfortable and surprisingly quiet being in a busy area. I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Loved everything about my stay. Wish it was longer.

This was our first time in Chania and we will most definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

it was in an ideal position for the bus station, town centre and the beach - nothing more than a 10 minute walk. Great Shower too !!

Exceptional experience at Plaza 1866

We had a great experience at Plaza 1866. We booked the room with city view. The room was very comfy, clean and modern. Seems to be recently renovated with new and good quality furniture. The hotel is just 5 minute walk from old harbour and next to a taxi station and many cafes, bakeries etc. Totally recommended to a couple or a family of 3.

No option of breakfast is available. Perhaps an option of breakfast at a nearby cafe could be offered in the future since the hotel has not its own kitchen/restaurant facilities.

Ideally located, clean and modern boutique hotel

This beautiful hotel has a superb location, right across the plaza where the city busses stop, literally around the corner from the long distance buses and car rental places. Across the street the old town’s pedestrian area starts where you browse or enjoy a meal or evening out. Because it is across the street it is outside the noise but one can still feel the vibe. There are a supermarket across the plaza too. Beautiful staircase with detailed check in details and we were able to store our luggage as we arrived early. The receptionist was very helpful with recommendations as to where to go and which beaches to visit. We were spoiled not only with tea and coffee bit with a bottle of wine too. What I really appreciated is how clean the place was. The cleaning lady really takes pride in her job and no corner were untouched by her hardworking positive attitude.

I did not mind it but if you cannot climb stairs, this might not be suitable for you. There are 30 steps to reception and another 20 of your room is one up. The stairs are wide though.

Small observations however would recommend staying there because of the location!

Excellent location if you do not wish to drive. Newly refurbished and a fresh smell across the foyer!

I recommend a small luggage if you do not wish to carry 30 Kgs up the stairs. The placement of the AC ducts is a bit off, it hits you directly when stepping out of the shower!
