De tuin was echt leuk we konden buiten ontbijten en dineren. De vaatwasser en wasmachine die waren echte luxe !
Het is een klein huisje met veel trappen

charm, character, location, garden, every item you could ever need was provided
nothing really - a slightly larger TV perhaps but we only watched it occasionally.

The property was centrally located in Kirkcudbright with easy access to shops, pubs etc. We loved the pretty courtyard garden which we were able to make good use of due to great weather the week we stayed. Owner Liz was very helpful, approachable and gave us lots of advise about places to visit, restaurants, pubs, best beaches etc.
We loved the characterful house which was comfortable and spacious.

Central location. Very homely. Everything we needed for a lovely break. Welcome pack on arrival which was a lovely touch.

A lovely, traditional house near to shops and cafes/restaurants. Situated on a quiet, very wide street with plenty of parking. The house was very clean and one of the best resourced properties we have ever stayed in. Liz and her husband have thought of absolutely everything their guests might require. Lovely garden to the rear to sit for a coffee. Very much enjoyed our stay here.
Nothing to dislike. The only thing I can comment on is that the house is split over three levels with stairs which might make it less suitable for those with mobility issues.

All excellent - perhaps a slightly stronger bulb in the breakfast room?

The house was lovely, very charming and very well equipped. The host left some welcome food, there were flowers in the dining room and information on how things worked within the property.
Some nice touches such as throws and hot water bottles, a fruit basket, jams and oat cakes.
We could access a garden if weather permitted and there was information on walks in the area.
This isn’t a dislike, but it would have been good if there was a shower curtain so you could stand up and have a shower. As it was we had baths instead. This would certainly not put us off booking again though.

Charming traditional house, in the heart of town, with a pretty garden. Well equipped. Made to feel very welcome with a basket of handy food items and milk and juice in the fridge.
Slight niggle was a lack of a robust shower, but taking a soak in a bath as an alternative was not the end of the world!

The cottage was spotless and was tastefully decorated throughout in a manner in keeping with the artistic legacy of the town. The owner had thought of everything a couple or family might need during their stay. We loved it and will definitely return.

Liz went above and beyond for our stay she made sure we had everything we needed and was unbelievably thoughtful. She provided a ring light as she knew we would be getting ready for a wedding. There were robes, a rail for hanging our wedding attire and she even left us homemade soup along with eggs bread butter and a bottle of cava. The property was perfect for us, very spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend staying here, by far the best experience I’ve ever had with an Airbnb.

Loved all the extra touches from the welcome hamper to the fresh flowers. No. 57 is a real home from home, everything thought out to make the most out of your stay. We enjoyed being in the middle of Kirkcudbright with its shops, pubs, restaurants and tourist attractions.

Lovely property in a great location. Perfect as a base to enjoy the coast and countryside too.

Lovely house with lots of character set over 3 stories. The host provided us with some lovely local goodies on arrival. She also did her best to make it baby friendly for us. It s in the centre of Kirkcudbright, a small town with bags of character.
Parking on the street outside was easy for us except one night when we parked around the corner
