This cozy three bedroom cottage located in the beautiful Town Neck area of Sandwich, within walking distance to Town Neck beach, boardwalk, Sandwich marina and Cape Cod canal. Short drive to historic center of Sandwich with many shops and restaurants to enjoy.
One Queen bed, two twin beds, and a sleeper couch to accommodate a maximum of 6 people. Cable TV, free WiFi, washer/dryer inside the cottage. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dinnerware. Each bedroom has AC units so you can be comfortable inside after hot day at the beach. Private backyard with picnic table and gas grill.The cottage is super clean and has everything you need for a nice stay.
Neighborhood is quiet and friendly, the beach is only 0.3 miles away. The owners live 5 miles away and easy accessible to help you enjoy your stay to the fullest.

Cute cottage very near the ocean. You can walk there. Nice with a/c during hot summers. We used the back porch all week! We had a cookout and sat at the picnic table with the umbrella.

A traditional Cape Cod cottage! The cottage was very clean, don't even think I saw any bugs, not even a spider. Host were very kind and open if there were any issues, however we didnt experience any. The beach was a 10 minute walk, however we waited till 4pm and drove down, as parking was free then. Lot of local shops, including groceries and even a general dollar store. Sandwich, being one of the first towns in Massachusetts, you get to experience a lot history, including museums. If you have kids, lot of cheap or free activities, such as the local fishery where you can feed trout. There is a small aquarium near by too. There is several local fishing spots you can walk to within 20 minutes, with a bait shop 10 minutes away (driving). You can also do charters, personally did Helen H, a 30 minute drive. The beach was rocky, however I was advised this was due to a storm and hopefully will be repaired. On the plus side, my kids had a great time flipping the rocks to find crabs. There is a lot of scenic walking places, including a walkway next to the canal to see the large boats coming and going. When we didnt make our meals, experienced several local restaurants and had all great experience. We also had a simple evening and order Domino's for delivery.

We cooked in. It was very convenient. The grocery store less than 5 miles away.

Arrivable went smoothly. The cottage was as described and was perfectly clean. The cottage has been refreshed through out. Everything worked. It had a lovely back porch and yard for our small shih tzu's. The front porch where the tv is was so nice with all the windows and the nice breeze in the evening. I wish the shower was bigger but there isn't room. I wish the mattress was more to my liking. They were very new, I just prefer a firmer mattress which I found in one of the other bedrooms. It was a few blocks to the ocean. The neighborhood was pretty quiet and felt safe. We had a couple of small problems and the host was right on top of it so we were not inconvenienced. They were a very nice younger couple that worked hard to ensure all was perfect for our month long stay. They achieved that with us. Would definitely stay again, if we return to this area.

The house is older, especially compared to some of the other houses in the neighborhood. The owners have made a real effort to make the place comfy and nice. The location is amazing...two blocks stroll to a beach! The price is a GREAT value.

Town neck cottage
Very convenient to restaurants, stores, beaches, and the highway. Very much satisfied with everything. Host was very accommodating and communication with them was always prompt. Recommend and will be back.

Clean and affordable in a great location.
The property is very basic, but within a short walk to the beach and the boardwalk, which was a priority. Small for a family with adult children, but fortunately we had an active week outdoors.

Great location and neighborhood
The cottage is very comfortable and clean. The owners are super responsive and friendly. Having a grill in the backyard was very helpful to cook quick meals in the evenings. Being in such a close proximity to the Cape Cod Canal was really a nice bonus too. We biked along it and it was breathtaking. Had a great week at the Cape!

Wonderful location! House is a bit old, but clean and very comfortable! Near beach and grocery store. A/C kept us cool and comfortable.

The neighbors we encountered were all quite friendly. There’s a picnic table with an umbrella and also a covered deck to relax in the backyard. We had brought chairs so we used those for the deck. Good ice cream and restaurants near by. We had read the reviews ahead of time that the air conditioning was in the bedrooms so we brought a box fan and the house was kept nice and cool with no problems. We would definitely stay here again!

Great hosts, Great location !!
Cape cottage. Walk to beach. Great yard. Beware of the neighbors. We were playing music the second day and a man came up to the back door rudely screaming that we were "blasting" the music and that "Sandwich has a noise ordinance" It would have been nice to get a friendly warning first. We weren't even that loud, and it was 2pm. I think the weed trimmers and lawn mowers were louder and more annoying.
Overall, we had a great time there. The owners were gracious and communication was great.

perfect neighborhood
We had a wonderful week. This property was located exactly where we wanted to be. Kids had a blast riding their bikes everywhere. The house is a bit run down. i dont mind dated for a cottage however some areas could be improved on. Mainly, the 3rd bedroom with a pullout couch we couldn’t use due to the smell. The bedrooms had air conditioner units in the windows so we couldn't even air it out. The back porch also was odd as the 2 screen doors didn’t latch so they couldn’t be left open to allow air flow. The front porch was lovely and the kitchen had everything necessary. Jeffrey was very easy to reach regarding the check in and booking process. We had a great week! Thank you.

Super location!
Location is great! .3 miles to an awesome beach! We had a fire on the beach two nights, new experience for us. The house is in close proximity to everything in Sandwich. Very convenient. Also, we loved that we could bring our two little dogs. The house is very clean and simple. The bedrooms have a/c, so we would leave them on during the day with the doors open so the house would be comfortable when we returned to the beach. Only con is that the front living area is small and does not have a/c. Needs something to cool that room off, it gets very hot. Owners were very responsive to any question we had! Had a great week!

Good location, clean but needs upgrades
The cottage was clean and in a nice neighborhood. We were comfortable, just enough space for the 4 of us. The shower was small, no bathtub. The beds we’re comfortable, but the bedrooms were small. The closet in the master bedroom could use some shelving like in the 2nd bedroom which would make the bedroom more spacious. TV could be upgraded to include hdmi port. For the price, you get what you paid for.

Great cottage!
My family and I loved our stay here. It is clean and cozy, a 10 min walk to the beach and still close to restaurants and the grocery. There is an a/c in each bedroom which on one rainy humid day we used to cool the entire cottage so they are definitely strong enough. Adequate dishes and pots and pans, and a reasonably sized bathroom. We liked the back yard - I recommend mosquito fogger though for after sunset, and it is a super quiet neighborhood.

So what it's not modern and updated.... it's a lovely trip back in time and more than adequate. The reviews pretty much all gush over how clean this place is and it's true! It's only about 1/2 mile walk to Town Neck Beach and though we never walked over to Boardwalk beach I'm sure you could. Beds are comfy, A/C units in each room, hairdryer under the sink, clothes line out back with a lovely yard that became our favorite breakfast location. Sandwich is a sweet little town with ice cream, groceries and great restaurants too! We went out to Orleans and hit the Red Barn and Arnold's on our rain day, but otherwise had no reason to leave the comforts of this quaint little neighborhood.

Very clean and comfortable cottage.
The cottage was very clean and well equipped. We love to cook and found nothing lacking to make full meals except a vegetable peeler. We even found flour, sugar salt and pepper in the cupboards! The beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet with a short walk to a nice bay beach. It is very convenient to grocery and small specialty shops and to the Cape Cod Canal Bike Path. Lots of helpful local information in binders. Very smooth and easy communication with our hosts. All in all a great stay. Thanks.

little cottage close to everything
Great little cottage for vacation cheaper than renting a motel queen size bed brand new, two twins in another room and a pull out couch in the third room. Shower stall was very small but water was warm enough to do the work of cleaning multi spray head. Nice size kitchen and eating dining room. nice backyard to grill with a weber grill. Good location, dirty, smelly carpets
The location is good, the beach is close by, 10 minute walk and close to the bird observatory boardwalk, if you drive to the beach it is $15.00/day. The beds were clean and comfortable, plenty of dishes for all you need. The carpet in the front room and laundry room smell bad / musty and is dirty, I would not recommend it if you have allergies or small children. Overall, it's OK for the price based on the Cape pricing. The weather was great so we did not spend too much time inside which is a good thing.

We enjoyed our time in Sandwich. The house is in a convenient location, central to many places on the Cape we wanted to visit. The owners were prompt in responding to our needs. They do not provide linens or towels which is not listed in the ad and the pictures show linens on the beds. The owner offered her personal sheets and towels when we brought this to her attention. The mattress in the master bedroom is not the highest quality and was quite uncomfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this quaint, quiet neighborhood.

As described in listing, this is a tidy home with all you need for a week on the Cape. Very quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to the beach, nice private back yard with a picnic table and a great BBQ. Everything you need to stay in and cook, if desired. Cozy cottage in great location
This cottage is ideally located within a short walk of a beautiful beach and several restaurants, and a short bike ride from the canal and the center of town. We had an amazing time exploring Sandwich including the historic downtown where the tourguide of the Hoxie House perfectly geared the information to my two young girls and the tourguide of the Dexter Gristmill allowed my girls to stop and start the mill and help in adjusting the grinding stones. Formal tea at Dunbar is not to be missed:). The canal was beautiful for long bike rides with many stops to view ships and of course the beach kept us busy for days at a time.
The cottage is a simple older cottage that has been very well-maintained and is immaculately clean. We enjoyed dinner at the picnic table in the back yard each evening. Tatiana was quick to respond and a wonderful hostess.
