About this house rental
La Mer is a well featured holiday home in the northern coastal suburb of the new Quinns Beach Estate. Just 300 meters to the Indian Ocean, enjoy the views from the timber deck at the large outdoor pool area. La Mer is equipped with tropical styled furniture and functional appliances and offers everything you need for an unforgettable break, stay or holiday. This home is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer and a fully ducted air conditioning outlet in every room of the house.
La Mer is close to safe swimming beaches, public transport, shopping centers, cafes & restaurants. Just a few kilometres from the nearby Clarkson train station to take you to the CBD in 35 minutes.
La Mer accommodates up to 6 people comfortably, so families & friends can enjoy their stay with plenty of room for everyone. All appliances & linen are supplied combined with all the modern conveniences.
The mild Mediterranean Perth climate is ideal for outdoor entertainment; catch a fish from the Indian Ocean, surf the waves, relax on one of the beaches, take a break in one of the many local parks or visit the National Parks like Yanchep or Neerabup in the northern area.

Ronald was a fabulous host. Super helpful and made our stay perfect. A great location to see north Perth. 10 min walk to the most amazing stretch of coast and then another 10 mins to Lunas cafe which was yum!! Easy access to surrounding areas by car. Safe and secure area with everything that you need. Nice bbq and the pool area was incredible. We enjoyed our stay so much we’ll definitely be back. Thank you Ronald for always being so helpful and for the fab welcome hamper.

My family reserved this property for 10 days in Aug23. The property was not as described, the house when we checked in was dangerous and filthy.
We reported the issues & allowed the host 2 days to address them, he didn't nor did he offer us alternative accommodation so we vacated.
Host admitted property had not been cleaned. My main concern was the family bathroom; broken tiles with sharp edges & only a hot water feed to the bath with taps positioned at child height (we have a young child, declared at the time of booking).
Based on my complaints the host commissioned an independent report which at his own admission highlighted several more issues than I'd raised (I dread to think).
After being extremely rude, defensive & unprofessional the host wrote to me offering me a full refund. 7 months later I AM STILL WAITING TO BE REFUNDED. Vrbo have been beyond useless throughout and I'm out of pocket by thousands!
The host resorted to blackmail. He said he'd only process the refund IF I didn’t leave a review. I refuse to be silenced in the hope that I can spare another family going through such an awful experience.
We booked the property based on its positive reviews, now I know that Vrbo reviews cannot be trusted! I reported the blackmail to Vrbo, instead of assisting me they told me not to leave a review if I wanted my money back?!
The property is still being marketed on Vrbo, it's disgraceful. It ruined our precious family vacation & caused stress ever since. AVOID!!

What an awesome spot to stay with a family, had everything we needed, loved the pool and outdoor area, spacious rooms, good cooling, overall a great stay. Clean and owners were easy to deal with. Lovely beaches and shops for all you need nearby

The house is lovely great for kids with the pool and the beaches are close by, just a short drive. Plenty of space to move around and in the warmer days the aircon really help.

We rented this property because it advertised what we were wanting so we were prepared to pay the price. Unfortunately it did not deliver. Windows that did not open in a house where the air conditioning doesn’t work. BBQ that wasn’t usable. Lights that didn’t work and a 9am checkout. It had some redeeming features. Good pool and outdoor dining areas. Plenty of linen and a comfortable master bed.

La Mer is an outstanding property. Great location, fully equiped kitchen and extremely clean. All bed linen and bed covers where freshly washed as well.
We really enjoyed the amazing outdoor area with a crystal water large pool and a Bali hut!
A very cozy comfortable accomodation highly maintained by owners.
The main bedroom is very large with a nice ensuite and inbuilt robe. Dinning room and sitting room on separate areas to enjoy a bit of privacy and personal space on families with children.
We enjoyed few BBQ at the outdoor large area but we also had few take away places, restaurants and 24hr IGA at only 2km distance.
Perfect location. Quiet street, short walk to the beach and bus stop on front door.
Thank you Ron for all your kindness and assistance. We will definelty come back and recomend this property.

Appréciation pour la maison le Boulevard située juste à côté
Le propriétaire nous a proposé de loger dans une autre maison située juste à côté. Celle-ci était très agréable, bien entretenue.
Quinns Rock possède de nombreuses plages très agréables. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et Ronald nous a aidé à chaque fois que nous en avions besoin.

This house was in a lovely convenient, quiet location, even though it is on a popular road the house is close enough to the beachside that the traffic was not a problem. The house was clean and the owner is friendly and professional. We will definitely like to book in again. We have 3 children and all of us were comfortable. Great place.

Relaxing stay at La Mer
La Mer was perfect for our stay while we attended our daughters wedding. It comfortably accommodated 6 adults. The outside dining area and fabulous pool area were fantastic and well used by all. including the grandkids when they came to visit.

Wonderful stay at La Mer. 2 hours to the Pinnacles well worth the trip. House lovely and spacious, pool clean and warmer than most. Great location, lovely beaches and walks. Patio is excellent for a drink and plenty of delivery take away.

La Mer's Biggest Fans are Returning Guests
La Mer is Home away from home, only much better!
We are returning guests at La Mer, and huge fans of the house and location. I think we've stayed at this house on 4-5 different occasions, we enjoy it so much there.
All bedrooms are comfortable and clean, kitchen has everything you need if planning to self cater, dining seats everyone happily and family room is a great size with decent sized flat screen tv.
Both bathrooms (ensuite to master) are very clean and good sized, and the laundry has a large front loader washing machine and massive dryer, which is a huge plus for travelling families like ours.
Outside is another fantastic dining area with BBQ which over looks the most inviting swimming pool with seating area under a Bali hut and pool side sun beds!
Location! It's so close to everything. Beach, shopping and dining out etc. are all not too far away.
Ron, we always have a pleasant stay at La Mer, so much so, we really hope to be back soon! Thankyou for everything!

Brilliant family rental
We stayed at La Mer for over three weeks with my husband and three children ages 5 and 13 and we all had an amazing time. The property was very clean and tidy with all instructions for the home and Ron stayed in touch with us through even coming to see us at some point. Thank you kindly for all you provided for us and would definitely recommend to other families. We were walking distance to the beach and local shops. We did however hire a car which I would advise

We really enjoyed our stay at La Mer. House was spacious and clean and came with all essentials. We loved the outside BBQ area, Bali hut and also the pool. Was just as good as the photos. The outdoor space and pool was brilliant for days relaxing in between sight seeing and having BBQ's in the evening. The bus stop was a a minutes walk away so travelling to the city was easy and the beach was a short stroll away.Would definitely recommend!!

I rang Ron from The Break and straight away he assisted me and made the process very easy.The accommodation was immaculate, mod cons, pool, beach down the road, shops not far. Everything was highly maintained. I would highly recommend the house and it was half the price of a hotel. Thank you Ron and I will most definately use your accommoadtion agin if the need arises
