Tolles Altstadthotel zu fairem Preis

Das Einchecken war unkompliziert, das Personal war durchgehend freundlich und hilfsbereit Die Lage in der Altstadt ist super. Wir würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Rundum angenehmer Aufenthalt

Schon mein zweiter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Wie schon beim 1.Mal war ich rundum zufrieden. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Zimmer, die ich bei meinen beiden Aufenthalten hatte in hervorragendem Zustand, sehr sauber, zweckmäßig, schön groß und ohne die geringsten Abnutzungserscheinungen.

Der Parkplatz war gegenüber bei der Caritas und nicht auf Anhieb zu finden.

Lovely little room in Werther and Charlotte’s town

We had a lovely and well-designed room, the reception is nice and willing to help us navigating the town. The restaurant on the ground floor is also very good.

Ok for a stopover, but there is a better hotel

Breakfast was good. Just a few minutes walk to town center.

Room too small for two people. Spiral staircase when carrying luggage. No reception desk but communication by means of a "squawk box". Room lighting, switch location. Parking offsite, having to walk across a dangerous junction.

Overnight stay on cycle tour down the Lahn

Very clean, close but not in the city centre so quiet. Good breakfast in the morning - fresh items being brought out continuously. Nice little courtyard available for an evening drink. Was able to park my bicycle in a side room (unused breakfast room with tables and chairs!) along with many others in the hotel. Fridge with a range of drinks available for purchase in the entrance hall.

No real reception to speak of - door was shut when I arrived with instructions to telephone. Key was in a safe next to the front door. But all very easy after that. With the lack of reception unsure whether there is staff present in the hotel overnight. Shower was behind a brick wall in the bathroom with the bathroom light on the other side. Not a problem for me but it did result in quite a dark shower cabin. Shower was also up three small stair.

Excellent hotel that I would gladly return to.

Very comfortable bed and pillows, excellent shower, very good free Wifi, and all at an inexpensive hotel in the heart of Wetzlar.

Breakfast was basic but fine - would have liked more selection or cooked options.

Clean and recently renovated rooms, good facilities, very nice team who is responsive to the needs of the guests. The hotel is not big and creates a cozy atmosphere, very good restaurant downstairs. great location in the old town.

Very nice place but no response on booking

Very nice updated room - walking distance to the dome and Altstadt. \fresh air from outside possible. When it gets noisy you close the windows and you hear absolutely nothing. Very comfy beds

I did not get any response on booking. com on my questions. Was by acciddent that i arrived later that somebody was there to let you in. Otherwise you have to call ....

It’s a very nice room and location for a few days. I would definitely come again.

The property is set in a very nice location with walking distance to the altstadt. Nice clean rooms, very spacious and modern looking. The staff was also very nice.

It was a bit hard to find the entrance to check in, but it’s in side corner. The front entrance is the restaurant entrance.

Great location and super restaurant as a bonus.

Great location, few minutes walk from the Dome and the old city. Friendly small hotel in a renovated old house with nice and helpful personnel. Nicely renovated and very clean room with comfortable beds. Big bonus was a culinary restaurant directly in the hotel with surprisingly high quality food and service which we did not expect. More possibilities to park the car for free nearby. The old city is worth seeing.

You have to watch where exactly to park the car since not all parking places belong to the hotel and some belong to the neighbours. But we asked and very helpful employee explained us all in detail.

Nice, calm, and clean. Recommended for a stopover of 2-3 days

Very cute small hotel, only 200 m from Wetzlar's Cathedral and Old Town. My room was small but comfortable with a clean shower bath and restroom three steps up (I guess they have barrier free rooms downstairs). Good continental breakfast. Parking is limited, but I was lucky.
