Your own private resort - Ideal relaxing holiday destination - pool area is very private where you can relax & forget the rest of the world. Yes - Fully AIR CONDITIONED including all 4 bedrooms.
The layout of the house - upstairs - Open plan - Lounge dining & fully equiped kitchen - verandahs front & back . 2 Bedrooms & Bathroom. Downstairs - 2 Bedrooms - Bathroom with combined laundry. . The property is fully fenced . This house is suitable for all age groups - great facilities.
Excellent Entertainment area - B B Q - Swimming Pool with under cover shaded area to unwind at your leisure - a maxi lounge covered with colourful cushions - enjoy a good read and plenty relaxation.
All Linen supplied - Please bring BEACH/POOL towels.
Lock up garage with internal access - great place to store all you fishing - diving gear. Plenty of room to park your boat - plenty of off street parking too.
Hydeaway Bay beach is a short stroll across the road.
Located 45 mins to Airlie Beach - 35 mins to Proserpine.
Lots to see & explore - enjoy beach walks - fishing - snorkling - a very relaxing location.
No group parties. Two resorts close by also!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Take Time.
The house is set out well for 2 families. With upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms.
We loved the different spaces around the home to hang out with friends. Pool, outdoor dining and multiple balconies.
As two families that had never travelled before together, we were hesitant the property would give us enough space when the socialising got too much. It did.
Therese and her husband checked in occasionally from next door and were happy to accommodate requests, tollerated our poor music choices and our loud, excited children playing in the pool.
They took the anxiety out of this concern and made the stay great.
The house has everything we needed. Bbq, utensils, kitchen items, pool noodles, various seating areas and a short stroll to the beach every morning on sunrise gave us the recharge we needed.
The only downside to this property were the host fees were much higher than other hideaway properties (I guess because we had 8 people staying) however there is no wifi, beach towels and a lack of bedding on the beds. No tea or coffee essentials or bathroom soaps.
Understandably, its still warm so blankets werent needed, but a light doona and sheets that tucked in would have been nice. Everything else we managed fine with.
I would highly recommend Take Time if you are a large family or 2 families who are looking to get away.
Its a perfect base to explore what Hideawaybay and its surrounds have to give.

Highly recommend this accommodation. Property was well maintained and you only need to bring your food and beach towel. It is an easy 5 min walk to the beach. We were able to get a courtesy bus to Cape Gloucester Eco Resort for lunch. The host was very accommodating and could not do enough for you.

Communication with Theresa is wonderful, the house is so well equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. The pool area is like being in a resort, the beach is right across the road. And access to Cape Gloucester, Montes and Dingo Beach is just a short drive. we are returning guests and will definitely be returning again.

The property suited 2 x families with four kids with room for all comfortably. The pool was great for the kids and the pool area is set up nicely with comfortable furnishings. The outdoor area was able to seat all 4 families for the occasional dinner together. It would be nice to have a boundary side fence between the owner's property and the holiday rental to create a true private holiday rental.

Take time has everything you need for a relaxed getaway - except for WIFI. The Balinese style pool area, is perfect for lazy days and the house just has a nice homely feel to it. The owners are wonderful people and are very accommodating

Fantastic property perfect for a relaxing getaway with the added bonus of a private pool. Take your own food plus dining available at nearby resort. We paddle boarded & did some fishing.

Theresa & Tony were absolutely the nicest and friendly host that I have ever met. The house was just as the photos show but even better. It was lovely to stay at such a clean and tidy home. We had 2 families staying there, it was ideal as one family slept upstairs and the other downstairs. It was child friendly. The pool area is amazing where it is so easy to relax and unwind. Will be staying there again and would recommend to all.
