Lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful location.

Beautiful location with lots of wildlife. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The fresh bread on arrival was a lovely surprise.

A wonderful relaxing short stay.

The location was perfect for us. On a quiet street the house has a lovely rear raised veranda with a wonderful view of the bay and out to sea. A short 5 minute walk to the beach and only 15 minutes from Kingscote for foody needs. Central for other attractions. The house was very clean, the bed in the main bedroom comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. A home from home. Ideal for a two family holiday with plenty of space. The heaters in the bedrooms are a good idea for the cooler months. The penguins.

Perhaps a new sliding door on the en suite bathroom which is a little small. The present one is difficult to open as it doesn't roll well and it's loud when you do get it to close. We had to leave it open overnight which is not good for privacy even when you're a couple :) Front door lock a bit of a challenge too. Otherwise all good.

Excellent location with a beautiful view

Spacious and well equipped. A lovely wine and breakfast selection was waiting for us. You couldn’t ask for a better view of Emu Bay.

Enjoyed the stay, would not book this home again. Photos of home need to be updated. Disappointed with the home.

Views over the bay was great. Spectacular sunrises

Home is in need of maintenance. Some doors, particularly front and en-suite bathroom very hard to open. Was not able to use en-suite door. Notes were on wall in laundry to keep the garage door closed as mice can get in. Did not think it was value for money.

Outstanding property overlooking Emu Bay

fantastic location overlooking Emu Bay. Well equipped and comfortable property with separate living areas to accommodate family needs. Lovely verdant garden at rear of property attracts birds and wildlife.

The old electric hot plates are difficult to manage when preparing a meal. We found both the key safe and the front door difficult to open. The latter has 2 locks that must be both opened and then requires a significant push to open. Once mastered all good.

So glad we went to KANGAROO ISLAND

The view from the front verandah was excellent. A walk along the beach and the jetty was a must, we were very lucky with the weather.

A beautiful house with beautiful views . Very comfortable & everything you need . A great location , around 15mins from Kingscote . we would recommend this property 😊

Penguins were a bit noisy ,a little cool in the home , perhaps a few more throw rugs for the leather lounge in the cooler weather

The delightful White House at Emu Bay

Overall The size of house was amazing for 5 people, we were swimming in the extra space! The view, stunning, loved big verandah at back which gave beautiful views of beach. The facilities were excellent, and when it was noted that the matress in the master was needing replacing, this was done by host in less than 24 hours, allowing everyone a good night's rest from then on. Easy to find, close to the beach. Privacy, lovely garden out back.

The master matress, but as stated, this was replaced as soon as we made it known it was impossible to lie on it without rolling towards the centre! The main lounge room couch was ok, but has started to get "dippy" in places.

I would recommend friends to use this property if they came to Kangaroo Island

Great location . The view is unbeatable!

Modern home with beautiful views and a spacious layout . The beds were clean and comfortable.

Some applicances were not in working order . A few items were not very clean.

KI Family Getaway

Layout of the house was excellent. Garden was very pleasant to walk around. Beds were very comfortable. Location and the view were outstanding. Coffee pod machine was unexpected but very welcome as we are avid coffee drinkers. There was only one tea towel to use but the property contact person dropped off extras the following day after I messaged and asked which I thought was excellent service. Overall we were extremely satisfied with our accommodation. Our suggestions for improvement would have just made our stay a 10 out of 10.

The master bedroom would benefit from curtains on the windows, way too much light comes in through the venetians at 6.30 in the morning. I think the front bedroom would benefit from a queen size bed instead of double. My daughter and her partner slept in this room and he is almost 6ft and found the bed a bit small. No clothes storage in front bedroom so suggest a garment rack and/or chest of drawers. No light globe in one of the bedside tables in front bedroom. Kitchen bin already had rubbish in it (ice cream wrappers and a rotten mouldy slice of tomato) and no bin liner in it and no replacement bin liners, had to buy our own

Highly recomnend this property, you won't regret staying here.

Location, location, location

One stove was not working, no dishwasher tablets or soap (or we couldn't find it :) . But this was only minor inconvenience. Loved, loved, loved the house!

Best house we have ever stayed in - Felt like home!

The house was amazing and had everything you need. Felt like home. And that view is incredible!!! It would be impossible not to relax in this house. It was amazing!
