Perfect for family

I like it because it is near with restaurants. You can easily pin down the location if you want foodpanda or grab food delivery. You can cook as well in the property. Free use of billiards. Free use of the swimming pool. Staff are so friendly. It's a mix of both worlds. If you want a peaceful environment away from noise and at the same time can chill with your family, this resort is the perfect place. And if you also want the crowd and the noise of Alona's night life, it is also just a few walks away.

I think brownouts are frequent in Panglao, not sure though. It just so happen that during our last day (saturday), we got plenty of power interruptions.

Everything is perfect! The receptionist when we arrive at the resort until we were out they are very kind and polite. We request to change the room because we have heavy luggage and it's hard for us to go to the 2nd floor. So, they grant our wish. Thank you. Swimming can use at any time. very good. Very calm environment, with the trees, flowers, little bamboo, and Duyan, it's perfect. no noise you can really relax. 5 minutes walk from the high way and a 10-15 minutes walk going to Alona Beach. A lot of Restaurants.

Staff excellent. Loved the natural setting and wildlife, especially the birdsong at 6am. Self catering cottages are nice but a bit dated. Only 10 mins walk to the beach.

Location suggests 600ft to Alona Beach (which it is) but construction site currently blocks the access so you gave to walk the wrong way up to the main street and back down taking over 10 mins on a dark road for what would otherwise be a 2 minute walk.to the beach. Construction very noisy Monday to Friday. Also, beware the many mosquitos lurking in the trees....

Superb

Our room was a quiet and clean bungalow nestled amongst the trees, with a private veranda. Good size room for two people, plenty of storage with a kettle and fridge. The bedding and towels were clean and the room came with complimentary tea, coffee and water. The staff are helpful and friendly with advice on booking tours and transport. The resort also offers laundry service. The pool area was clean and cute. Would definitely recommend Alonaland resort to friends.

Not a disslike but a suggestion it would be nice if the resort offered food services or had an area to purchase essentials.

I didn't like the garbage, no garbage in the room. No mosquito refellant. Too many mosquito even in the pool. No van or car, the guest always walk

Great location, great staff,

Great location! Staff were super helpful - we arrived super late at night (travel delays) but they provided us with a phone number that we called and someone came to the hostel to let us into our room :)

I like everything from the staff, room, pool, environment, and quietness of the place. I like it coz I can cook and everything was provided already. All you need is to bring your food. You can stay in pool as much as you can with no limit of time etc. Staff were very friendly. I will recommend this place. You won’t regret, we were very satisfied.

I had an amazing stay at Alonaland. I lost my baggage and showed up with what I was wearing a passport, bank card and phone for 7 day's! The staff were awesome and went above and beyond to help me find everything I needed from phone load to new underwear, they turned a potentially stressful situation into relaxed easy blissful tropical holiday.

I like the fact that there was a lot of greenery and it was tucked away from the rest of the hustle and bustle of the main road.

Nice resort

The resort is perfect for a family. it’s walking distance to the town and the beach. The rooms is basic but has most things you could need. We enjoyed using the pool with our baby. The WiFi worked well in the rooms.

We had issues with the staff arranging a tour for us. Reception booked us a private boat trip. They already postponed it by one day due to availability. It was confirmed for the day after. We got up at 5am the next morning to get ready (with a 5 month old baby), waited at reception (which was closed so we couldn’t check with anyone) at 6am as instructed but the tour wasn’t even booked. We waited 30 mins before going back to our room. We ended up booking via the sellers on the beach with no problems. Don’t book via the hotel. We also had issues with them changing the price of things. For example, when we checked-in we were told water was 50php, then the next day it was 55php, when we checked out we were charged 70php.

Luscious garden chalets at walking distance from the beach, calm near tourism attractions

Very calm, chalet types of room in a beautiful luscious garden, nice swimming pool. Convenient kitchen and balcony. Not exactly by the beach but not far, at waking distance (15mn). Advantage is the calm as the beach area can be busy. Cheap tricycle rides available if needed. Recommended for those who love nature and want to avoid mass tourist concrete buildings by the beach. 10mn from the airport. Shops at 5 to 10 mn walking distance.

We liked everything, it was value for money.

A very pleasant and relaxing stay

Beautiful views from the balcony. Excellent value for money with everything you could need and a nice swimming pool. very friendly and helpful staff especially Joann who bent over backwards to help us.

Dissapointed

It' s not a beachfront. 150m from the beach they put in the internet was not true. The owner/staff did not inform us that there is no electricity when we arrive.
