Marvelous little boutique hotel in a perfect location. The restaurant is very interesting and the breakfast is excellent. The staff is extremely helpful. Recommended.
Accessibility is not trivial (including parking) and rooms are small (but this is the norm in castellabate).

Stunning Restoration - rooms & public areas decorated beautifully. The views from our terrace simply gorgeous. The staff is lovely. Great location- just a minute from the central square of Old Town Castellabate.
We liked everything, have no complaints - but the addition of a little shelf, or table or small counter in the bathroom would be helpful.

Palazzo Gentilcore is a perfect base to explore the area. It is fairly easy to get to and has free parking next to the hotel. It is close to a beautiful square in Castellbate, close to restaurants, shops etc. We had dinner in a square close to the hotel and enjoyed a night of live music and beautiful views. In terms of the hotel itself, Chiara was superbly helpful especially after we had made an error in our booking, they were perfectly accommodating and communication was easy. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety of choices from local cheeses/ pastries. We would recommend staying here if youre in the area.

This hotel is beautifully restored. The view from our balcony was absolutely amazing. The breakfast was the best we had during our 3 week stay in Italy.
nothing, all was perfect.

The room was quite fancy. Extremely clean and neat. Super close to the nice and cosy `piazzetta`. It was reasonably easy to reach and in a couple of minutes one could reach the beaches with the car.
Ah, the food. Oh my Goddess the food! Delicious.
The room's window was facing a small patio with couches, chairs and speakers. So we could not really keep it open because we could hear the music quite and people talking. And people could look into our room if we left the window open.

very nice hotel in the middle of a beautiful village.

The building is beautiful and at the perfect spot to start your walk at the old town. The room was spacious with a big and comfortable bed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Excellent on quality of food and location.
Nothing to add.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful hotel, beautiful location and amazing restaurant. We had considered staying below in Santa Maria di Castellabate and so glad we didn’t. The drive up is short and we’ll worth it for the views, of which is boasted everywhere you turn. We spent the afternoon meandering the wee streets and there were plenty of opportunities to stop for a drink and food. But the restaurant at the hotel was an excellent choice, meeting the chef afterwards. Breakfast again was amazing. Attention to detail, everything fresh and staff so friendly.

Hotel with a very atmosphere nicely refurbished. All the staff were really nice, especially Piera on reception and the lady that served breakfast. Highly recommended.

We loved everything about Palazzo Gentilecore - the room was beautiful with great views and the restaurant was was wonderful.

Great experience. Tough to get to at the top of hilltop, but worth the drive and free parking. The staff were exceptional, especially in the restaurant. We had 2 wonderful dinners and the server, Nello and the chef were incredible. The food and presentation were exceptional. But it was the hospitality, service and friendliness of the 2 of them that made it a special experience. The breakfast was the best we've had in Italy and again the presentation and explaination of every dish was great.
The steep ride up the back way from Santa Maria takes some getting used to.

location was excellent. staff was nice and the room was as expected.
They did do an amazing job as to "saving" this location.
Breakfast for me was absolutely too minimal. Lots of cakes and sweets. So probably amazing when you like sugar. But if you want to go for healthy / fruits/ fibers/ low carb / eggs - there was not much there.

Good location , bright rooms , comfortable beds , good cakes at breakfast , lovely building and decoration , easy parking .
On arrival rude member off staff in the restaurant.

Great spot in the center, but still good possibility to park, super clean and desinfected, calm room, nice staff, big room. AC. Refrigerator.
The first breakfast was nothing special. For the price level were my expectations much higher. The second one was better (cheese and good chiabata, fresh figs and pineapple plus salami and bacon. The day before was some kind of cheap bread, some strange cheese. The rest was all right: ham, bacon, fruits, yogurth, sweets.) All the time missed fresh vegetables and butter.

The location is perfect. Few steps from central piazza, shops and restaurants but still incredibly quiet and with best views. The building has been completely renovated, took care of every single detail, excellent taste, simply beautiful place.
Room was perfect too. Extremely clean. Comfortable bed, an incredible terrace, modern shower, lovely decoration.
Breakfast was very vast, with home made pastries and sweets, fresh fruits, yogurt, cheese (mozzarella and ricotta) and salami, breads, toasts.. really good.
Last but not least. The staff was amazing. Always with a smile, helping, trying to make you feel home.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and we found it extremely good. Restaurant was closed the second night, so we tried the ‘in theory’ best rated restaurant in town, and we definitely prefer the Palazzolo dining experience.
Perfect stay
Nothing. A perfect 10
