Beds comfortable. Staff really friendly. Really good shower. Location perfect for visiting my grandchildren. Have stayed here on numerous occasions.
Stains on carpet leading into bathroom. Uggh, doesn't bear thinking about...

Very comfortable room.

Ground floor room, free parking for guests, interconnection with Saracens head pub for decent breakfast fayre and nice room. Best price on offer in Shirley/Solihull for particular night. Stayed previously many years ago but had forgotten it was then a Premier Inn. Pleased to say there has been no noticeable deterioration in standards or comfort under the Redwings banner. Will more than likely use again in future.
4.5
Great location with shops open to late, parking space available, comfortable and warm rooms , only 20 mins to Birmingham city centre and staff were friendly
Loud noise from guests banging the door which needed to be used to access the floor and cleaners were loud as well in the morning but that is bearable !
3.5
Staff very helpful. Location good with local restaurants.
Rooms were a little cold and no extra blankets available
5.0
Excellent, cannot fault it. Staff are very friendly and hotel is just excellent value for money
I do think 10am check out is a little early and does not match most other hotels where it is 11am to midday.....something to consider?
4.5
Lovely room very friendly staff, very helpful. Close to shops and next to a lovely pub serving meals inc breakfadt.
The view was the car park.
4.0
convenient, budget and clean
cold room, wall heater not working , a small plug in heater was supplied, but hardly made any effect

The room was very cold , There was an electric heater on the wall, but despite me putting this on at 24 degree the room was still really cold even when I woke up in the morning.
very cold room

Sadly very little apart from the bed was comfortable
The standard of the room was NOT worth the money I paid mould in the bathroom, holes in walls, dirty walls, shower internally and externally very dirty and stained, TV didn’t work so has to move room on 2nd night
1.5
Location was good.
The member of staff on reception wasn't particularly pleasant or helpful. Sadly the room was rather grimy, especially the bathroom, it was quite evident that it has lacked any form of routine maintenance for several years, indeed probably since it was operated previously by Premier Inn, sadly the housekeeping standards fall well short of an acceptable level, there were mold spots all over the bathroom ceiling & cobwebs, dirty skirting boards, paint peeling from the bathroom walls, a broken light fitting by the bedside, numerous dirty marks on bedroom walls, without doubt probably one of the worst hotels we've stayed in for a long time.

Bed extremely comfortable. Excellent location - handy for motoway, close to shops and restaurants so it was easy , yesto find somewhere to eat, yet room very quiet and peaceful. Staff great - warm and helpful

I have been travelling to Birmingham on various occasions over the past few years and have been staying in AirBnB's. Redwings Lodge was great. We parked right outside the lodge, no worries at all. The main road had lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. Easy and convenient.
The wifi was free but really poor. I used my mobile data

Staff are amazing especially the receptionists, they are so helpful and friendly.

The room was fantastic, the bed was comfy, the bath and shower were fantastic aswell
Could do with a little fridge in the room just to keep things cold ie water or your own milk

Great location. Lots of places to eat nearby. Rooms were basic but clean.
Place is looking a bit tired with mould in the bathroom and the beds are really uncomfortable

Relaxed and friendly staff
Light coming into the room at night around the door also cheap plastic toilet seat
3.5
Reasonable price, clean and located near where I needed.
The walls are not soundproofed so it’s possible to hear noises from adjoining rooms, e.g. to.
4.0
It was clean , a bit shabby bit it had everything we needed
Bed was comfy
Very noisy as it's connected to a pub restaurant and the huge fan for the kitchen was right by our window .
We had the windows open at night and the noise of the fan started early in the morning and woke me up we had to shut the windows but could still hear it

Great value stay for 2 nights. No breakfast options but plenty alternatives in close proximity. All staff on reception made me and my dog welcome. Plenty free parking at hotel. Stratford-upon-Avon only 15 miles away. Massive park adjacent to lodge and great for dogs or kids. Nice room comfy bed and complimentary coffee and tea.
