Renovating - stay away until finished

Good location, BUT...

This hotel is renovating...So the main reasons for being there - on the dock on the water with direct flow out onto the pier, does not apply...They should close and finish the Reno and then reopen.

Fantastic!!

Everything - the hotel was fabulous. The staff were welcoming and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spotless and had everything you needed. Breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel. Fantastic choice and fresh ingredients.

The building noise outside was a noisy especially at 6.30am! The room temperature was too hot and no way to make it cooler. Even having the window open had no effect.

Το δωματιο ήταν πολύ μικρό. Για να περάσουμε από τη μια πλευρά του κρεβατιού στην άλλη, έπρεπε να πηγαίνουμε με το πλάι. Ούτε η βαλίτσα δεν χώρεσε να περάσει. Τη σηκώσαμε στα χέρια για να την περάσουμε στην άλλη πλευρά. Ευχαριστω, δεν θα ξαναπάρω.

Schöner Aufenthalt mt Komfort.

Super Lage, tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr bequeme Betten schöne Ausstattung.

Das Zimmer war ziemlich dunkel wegen des kleinen Fensters. Leider wurde gerade umgebaut deswegen war der Lounge und Barbereich etwas eingeschränkt

It is not a good hotel to stay in except for the location.

Location is excellent.

Noise, there was construction going on, and we were not informed about it after we had made the reservation( normally hotels should inform their guests so that they could make their choice either to stay or to cancel the reservation)Fumes from the kitchen came directly into our room when we opened the window( we were staying in a room on the third floor).

Hugely disappointed, tiny room, over priced, hotel building site directly outside the window. Avoid

A great location in a nice part of the city. Ease of access to tourist areas. Access to the excellent metro/transport services in Copenhagen.

There is significant modernisation work being undertaken at the hotel which we had not been made aware of. Our room directly overlooked the worksite on the side of the hotel and the noise, smell, shouting and heavy construction activity being undertaken made it impossible to enjoy any time in the room during the working day. We had a waterfront 'Deluxe' room which was tiny (a struggle for 2 people to share the space), sub standard in-room facilities (tired and dated) and an ancient air conditioning unit. Certainly not worth the high price paid for what was a sub-optimal stay.

Mooi hotel maar in deze prijsklasse hebben we al beter gelogeerd.

Mooi hotel op een super locatie! Heel vriendelijk personeel, mooi kamers. Heerlijk ontbijt.

Voor een hotel in de hogere prijsklasse was het spijtig dat er geen gratis waterflesjes waren. Er was ook geen koffieapparaat maar oploskoffie op de kamer. Er waren verbouwingen, waarvan we niet op de hoogte waren en waardoor we niet op het terras aan het water konden zitten.

Reception area was small for a large hotel. Coffee corner was an add on Works going on at the hotel which we were not made aware of.

Hotel enorme que mais parece uma rodoviária. Uma recepção bagunçada, feia, cheia de gente com carpetes e elevadores imundos! Os quartos não tem ar condicionado e no verão de 25 graus são quentes e abafados. Sofá cama/ cama extra muito desconfortável. Estávamos no último andar e o hotel ainda assim tem péssima acústica e é muito barulhento. Não sei como avaliam o hotel como excelente! Incompreensível.

Le tarif de la nuit à 536€ est scandaleusement disproportionné eu égard aux prestations fournies. Chambre sans charme, petit déjeuner même pas compris dans le tarif, même pas non plus une bouteille d'eau dans la chambre. Un rapport qualité-prix exécrable.

We loved the hotel. The location was excellent. The room was very nice. The lobby was under construction so it felt a bit tight and dark. I think once that is complete it will be more welcoming

A phenominal stay in Copenhagen!

The hotel has an incredible, warm, and friendly check-in staff and has the best breakfast in Copenhagen. The rooms were fantastic, and I loved the old-world charm. The bar was super in the evening for late meetings, and the cocktails were brilliant. The location is phenomenal. Highly recommended.

It's everything you would expect

The location was phenomenal. Close to christianhavn, walkable to almost everything you go to Copenhagen to see. Staff was friendly and attentive, rooms were fastidiously cleaned. It is close to major metro lines, busses etc if you are not a walker. You don't even need a taxi from the airport, metro line 2 drops you off 5 min walk from the hotel.

Not sure i would go there on whit monday, there whole area is overrun with runners for the Royal Run, but if you like that, then this negative shouldn't bother you at all.

No 5 star experience

Location was great, but there was a lot of noise due to works in and outside of the hotel

The amenities in the room do not comply with a usual 5 star hotel; there was no proper coffee machine, no free bottle of water, no bathrobes, no slippers, no other amenity kits The breakfast was good but that obviously is paid for There were also some malfunctions in the room

Zentrales, schönes Hotel - Abzug für Sauberkeit im Zimmer

Die zentrale Lage des Hotels, der rustikale Stil sowie die Grösse der Zimmer hat uns sehr überzeugt. So auch das junge Personal an der Reception, das uns gleich ein paar Tipps für Sightseeing und Restaurants gab.

Hingegen ist leider die Sauberkeit zu bemängeln: Auf den Holzbalken und bei der Lüftung im Bad lagen Staubfetzen (nichts für Allergiker). Bei unserer Ankunft lagen noch benutzte Handtücher im Zimmer und auch in der Dusche fanden sich noch Spuren vorheriger Besucher. Die Aussicht (Hinterhof) und das sehr dreckige Fenster waren uns eigentlich noch egal, weniger hingegen der Umstand, dass es beim Öffnen der Fenster nach Kanalisation roch. Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis leider nur knapp genügend, da besteht noch viel Verbesserungspotential. Trotzdem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Hotel ist eine Baustelle. Lage wirklich gut

Lage einfach toll. Man ist sehr schnell in der City Sehr nettes Personal.

Leider ist das Hotel eine Baustelle. Keine Möglichkeit schön draußen zu sitzen. Frühstück findet in einer fensterlosen Halle statt. Sauberkeit im Bad echt verbesserungswürdig. Überall Wasserflecken und Seifenreste. Einfach mal trocken nachwischen.

Für eine Städtetour sehr guter Ausgangspunk und sehr sehr ruhig nachts

Die Lage war sehr gut und auch die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ist gut.

Die Damen und Herren an der Rezeption waren jetzt nicht gerade so freundlich und beim Check out keine Frage wie der Urlaub war , wie es gefallen hat oder ähnliches. Hauptsache Karte gezeigt und weg .

We only had one night but we loved admiral. I came sick from Ethiopia and the lady at the reception was so nice,called the doctor for me and arranged us to get our room very quickly. Our room was very nice and clean and the location is the best. Thank you

Glorious hotel

Upon check-in we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a larger, sea-view room - what a treat! This is a fantastic hotel - stylish decor, super-modern, clean, very peaceful - great view if you can get one. Lovely staff, nice bar open late, and the location is spot on - 5mins nice stroll from Nyhavn, main square, nearest metro stop.

Renovations take a bit of the shine off what will be a great place to stay.

The proximity to Nyhavn. The nature, character and history of the building and rooms. Staff were friendly and attentive on the few times that we relied on them and the rooms were quirky yet modern.

It’s a tough one. The renovations in their own right did not affect our stay per se. But the temporary and chaotic nature of everything on the ground floor is evident. We were aware of the renovations and disruptions prior to our stay And debated whether to look elsewhere. Overall they did the best they could given the major changes being made. We did not experience any noise from the renovations.
