Make sure you know which photos correspond to your apartment. Its not what you think.

When we checked into the first room, it was not as we had expected but they tried to accommodate by moving us to another room. They also mentioned that if we had said in our booking about which apartment we would like, they would have tried to ensure that one for us. The apartments are large, with a TV and a nice sized balcony.

Unfortunately, more dislikes than likes. 1. Despite the lady being very nice, communication in English was not easy/possible. We went to the office to collect our keys (5-10m walk from property) and it took us nearly 1 hour before we finally got into our apartment, we were the only people there too, maybe the receptionist was new? She was on the phone a lot... 2. 90% of the photos on the booking are of the nicest apartment they rent out. We were checked into one which looked nothing like 90% of the photos, with many ants, no view and really dated furniture (room 3c). We argued on the phone about this and were (after much debate) moved to the only other available apartment (4c). This was an improvement to 3c, with nicer furniture and a better view. But it is still not like the nicest of the photos advertised. I recommend they take specific photos of each apartment and list them accordingly, not list one apartment and say 'it could vary slightly'. We were sadly really underwhelmed with the apartment, shocked even. 3. There is no WIFI. I must say that it does state this on the listing, however... who checks if they say they have wifi these days?... doesnt everywhere :')? 4. Bathroom is rather unclean, but it is just really old. Same for the kitchen, and for the Sofa. 5. The double bed in 4c is extremely uncomfortable and dated. The two single beds in the other room are newer and comfortable. My partner and I actually slept in the single beds for the rest of our stay due to how uncomfortable the double was after just one night. 6. No clear instructions were given on how to enter the property, we asked the receptionist to bring us up to our apartment, she was about to leave us at the front of the building and it is a huge building that doesnt clearly label the layout of rooms. Leaving us alone would have been rather time consuming and stressful. Receptionists should go to the rooms with customers and give them a small briefing about the apartment.

ATTENTION, 400 € de caution demandée le jour de l'arrivée ! Mauvaise surprise

- demande de caution de 400 € pour entrer dans l'apt, sur booking, c'etait ecrit dans les onglets déroulants, perdu au milieu de toutes les autres phrases. si était écrit visiblement, je n'aurais pas réservé du tout. - cuisine avec electromenager vieux et sales par vetusté, gaziniere rouillé, on ne l'a pas utilisé, idem pour la bouilloire - remise des clés à l'agence compliqué, car la secretaire m'avait dit d'être la à 10h30 précise, pour récuperer mon argent 400 € en especes, mais l'agence était fermée, j'ai du appeler un numero et presque "raler" pour que que quelq'un vienne sinon, il aurait fallu attendre 1 semaine pour le virement. - voisin bruyant avec sa telé (apt 4c pico) - pas de wifi

Bien por la ubicacion, pero el deposito de €400 encuentro que es demasiado,

La ubicación es excelente, 5 minutos de la playa, restaurantes por toda la costa

Las camas tenían sabanas con olor a humedad, un olor poco soportable al dormir

Great location, very spacious for 4 wouldn't recommend 6 though.

Some washing up liquid and a cleaning cloth would have been a useful addition. The bathroom flooded easily when using the shower and the sliding doors to the balcony really needed attention/repair.

the location was pretty central..

it was very dated .. needs a good painting and brought into this century.. we asked for an early check in but still had to wait till 17:00 to get into the apartment..we also asked for a sea view but never got a sea view..

Amazing views and location!

Great accommodation! Very clean and great amenities like the kitchen and washing machine. The view was amazing, it was great to be able to see the ocean from all the windows. Easy to locate and in a great position next to the beach. Lots of good options for restaurants right downstairs. Easy parking at the back of the building too for our rental car. When we come again we will definitely be booking here again it worked great for us.

Pleasant

Fabulous location, really good size, lifts and facilities were good, everything you could need. No cleaning products however, so you will need washing up liquid at the very least to ensure you don't have to pay a fee for 'not washing crockery'.

Check in process was not clear, albeit, instructions may have been sent, however if so, were in Portuguese, so we did not know we had to collect keys from an office 15 mins away from the apartments themselves. It was raining heavily and we called for help, however, felt as though we were an inconvenience. Beds are extremely uncomfortable and noisy, I'd even take a pillow yourself.

The location. It was a nice secure airy apartment.

Disappointed that we only had partial sea views. We were mostly looking at white walls. The apartment could do with some improvements especially the tiling.

Exceptional

Second time Ive stayed with Garvetur although last time booked by someone else and stayed in the apartment below our current one. Both are a great base of action whether your going off and exploring or laying on the beach. We are a couple travelling and although the apartment had 2 bedrooms it still felt like a lovely place for a couple to stay. Lovely balcony and enough utensils to cook in the kitchen if you don’t feel like eating out. The apartment is in a very good size and located in the centre of the board walk. Walking distance from a few supermarkets (5/10mins) and 30min walk to the Marina. 10min taxi or Uber ride to Aqua Show water park, 25 minute ride, Faro/airport and 40 mins from albrufeira. Highly recommend!

Close to the beach

The mattresses were all terrible, everyone wakes up with neck and back pain. Definitely needs improvements because it looks old and with some small holes in the ground and rust. It’s not accessible to wheelchairs or people with health problems. There’s stairs before the elevador. The buildings are surrounded by stairs all around with no access to people with mobility problems.

Great location and value for money and very nice and polite staff. Plenty of free parking nearby.

I find the security deposit part ridiculous. The fact that it can only be left on a credit card or in cash even more so. Luckily I had a credit card but I can easily picture a scenario where this could have ruined the day. The office working hours are limited and the mattress wasn't great too.

The location is great and the sea view from the balcony is amazing. The apartment is big and the beds are very comfortable. It has lots of natural light and it does not get too hot even if there are above 30º outside.

The bathroom had some problems because it kept making noises in the pipes and it had a really bad smell.
