A little confused at the beginning. Does not look like an accommodation. But was able in quickly. Good location.

Comfy bed, location highly suited my needs in terms of attending whanau event at Howick Club, village shopping, leisurely coffee, a really nice break for me. Room was just fine, clean and welcoming.
Nothing not to like 🌹Suited me down to the ground as a woman on my own, felt safe & relaxed.. Great facilities. Affordable, loved the 3-night deal I found online as first-timer.
Dined downstairs, lovely food, good wine selection. And yes, great staff !! 🥰

The staff and Publican (owner) were very friendly helpful.
A more realistic Continental Breakfast.
The street cleaner vehicle in the early hours of the morning.

calm, close to Auckland but still off the heavy traffic

Venue was really cool and staff were absolutely fantastic
Unfortunately there were a couple of ants in the bed that was the only letdown of the whole stay

The shared bathrooms were much nicer than expected, tasteful decor (paintings!) & having a view from my room was lovely.
Having a decent milk etc in fridge was super.
The carpet looked a bit tired & there was a weird smell in the hallway (but it didn't matter) as it's great value for money.

Good value for money with free off street parking and really good bathrooms. It was handy having a fridge in the my room, plenty of space for all my gear, comfy bed and breakfast food provided. Was exactly what I needed for the best price I could get in Auckland.
One side of the building faces a bus stop which is busy early int he morning and late at night so light sleepers will need ear plugs.

Friendly staff, breakfast in valuable.
In one room (the other rooms are OK, I would say) there is a fan right by the window, which the owner probably assumes that if it is a bar, that people won t mind the fan. If you clouse the window, it s quite ok, but the owner should mention it in the menu, because it s not just some small fan.

Fridge lined with good food for guests. Easy access in and out. Friendly staff.
Bathrooms were a little walk but bedroom doors old and creaky and you could hear people getting up at night

Location was perfect as it was just across the road from the venue we were attending

Assistance and fresh towels and the location
7.0 / 10.0
comfy rooms, the single rooms are a little small but when you just need a bed for the night it's fine. Restaurant down stairs was great too.
Although there's lots of parking out on the street there was no where really safe and secure to park.

Very clean and appealing. Rooms were lovely as we're bathrooms and kitchen.
Did wonder about noise from restaurant below, however all went quiet from 10.40.
Room was very warm, even with the fan on (that I found at the bottom of the wardrobe).
Room was on the corner so lots of loud traffic that only stopped after 3am.

The cleanliness of the accomodation and the numerous bathrooms and toilets.First rate.. Showers were top notch.
Staff downstairs were welcoming and friendly.
The permanent residence went out of their way to make us welcome

It was a great location for what I needed.
Probably just the bus stop outside but didn't hear it in the night, so wasn't really a problem.
