The balcony was a highlight. The building has nice character but is very tired. Beds were so comfortable, but they were really let down by the terrible, lumpy, pillows. Hotel is very clean and the elevators were surprisingly fast.
The staff were all very rude or passive aggressive, it made it difficult to get the things we needed. The air conditioner in our room was absurd - it would turn on but make either such an unpleasant tone or the fan would be so loud you couldn’t speak over it. Other tough parts:
- WiFi was unusable - it wouldn’t stay connected for longer than 1-2 minutes the signal was so low
- we had no water pressure in our shower, but it was very hot
- very loud staff doing room cleaning
- by 4pm our room hadn’t been cleaned on the first day despite having the sign out to request it, we had to bargain to get fresh towels since the room wasn’t refreshed
- very loud between rooms / above floor walking

The room was large and had an amazing lake view. I really liked it that they offered different types of pillows!

Lokatie is super! Het is een oud hotel met de charme van vroeger! Kamer was mooi gemoderniseerd. Het glas in lood bij de ontbijtruimte ronduit schitterend .
Supervriendelijk personeel!

What a nice historic property and super nice rooms with very comfy beds. The check in was fast and flawless. Parking was onsite at CHF 18 a day. Right on the lake. you can ask for Lake view but you will pay more. Value for money excellent.

Lovely Belle Epoque building in a wonderful location, directly on the lake front. Fabulous views from the lake-view rooms with balconies. Well maintained garden and pool. Warm and friendly welcome from the reception staff. Very clean and comfortable beds.
Some renovations have been made, however there is still quite a way to go. I hope the next priorities will be the bathrooms and making the communal areas more inviting (lobby, lounge, outdoor terraces). Overpriced breakfast for the quality.

the staff wad very nice. Helpfull in any situation. Very clear.
I have payed more than 220€/night for a room without air conditionning
the description sayed " parking" but it was not mention that it was an extra 30€/day for it.

The interior design of the hotel teleports you to a different era and the view from the terrace its simply amazing :) The staff was very friendly as well
There was a room service fee of 7 CHF for having a 4.50 CHF cup of coffee in the room. This is inadmissible for a 4 stars hotel.
Also, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, which I understand that it is not so
common in Switzerland to have, but again... this is a 4 stars hotel and there were 36 Celsius degrees outside.

The location is fabulous. The hotel is really charming, you can really appreciate the history that surrounds it. We where there for the Montreux festival, which meant music and people until late but the hotel was both close to the action and away from the noise at the same time. Highly recommend it.
The bathrooms were spotless but could really do with a facelift.

Hotel Eden Palace au Lac exceeded all expectations with its breathtaking lakefront views, impeccable service, and luxurious amenities. The serene and elegant ambiance made our stay truly unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil and indulgent retreat.
One thing that I didn't like about the hotel was the limited variety in the breakfast menu. Although the quality of the food was excellent, having more options to choose from would have enhanced the overall dining experience

This hotel is a classic, and if you are looking for old world grandeur, this is the ploace. Perfect location, be sure to get a room with a view of the lake!
The breakfast was not really up to par... no fresh juice, coffee so-so-la-la - the small things that move a place from good to great

Great location. Beautifully refurbished old hotel with a lot of charm.
It was hot an humid with no air conditioning. We did not have a room with a view.

Room was adequate, with beautiful views. Perfect location
No bath mat in the showers, and when we asked it was not available. Swimming pool not available, no option to make yourself a coffee or tea in the rooms. Staff no overly helpful

The hotel was a large, old world European Hotel, with great charm. It seems to have been refurbished recently. The grounds were beautiful, the location was amazing, right on the lake and central to the promenade, with all the restaurants. Easy walk to train and boat. Our room was quite large and spacious, and the bathroom had double sinks. It had a large public terrace facing the lake.
Sink design in bathroom didn't allow for resting soap, and no soap dish provided. Also, no A/C, and it was warm in room since it was 80°F. But they provided us with a fan, which helped.

Beautiful hotel, good location. We got upgraded to a junior suite and view was spectacular. Room is very nice and clean.
Staff was unhelpful. We asked for help to bring our luggage to the room. Even though they have a few staff and no customers, no one wants to help and we ended up bringing all our luggages to our room. Same thing with check-out. We don't find much value for it. Disappointed with the front desk and no conceige service at such an expensive and high end hotel. Restaurant opens late so we ended up going outside of hotel for dinner.

I have stayed at the hotel previously so I knew what to expect and I was not disappointed. I actually stayed for 5 nights
and my son joined me for 3 of them. I had requested room 118 which I was given and, upon joining me , my son was given
the room next door. The staff were efficient and friendly, and everything went extremely well as expected. I shall definitely be returning.
There was not anything that I disliked. I enjoyed my stay immensely.

Very good location with Lake view room. Walking distance to every attraction place. Good breakfast provided. They have provided air cooling machines when I stay in late May near summer season when the weather start turn hot.
