Sunrise and Sunset Views in Grand Isle: Rocky top is a cute beach cottage with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms located on the beachside in Grand Isle Louisiana. Close enough to walk to the Supermarkets and across from Jo-Bobs for those wanting great burgers! The top deck boasts a great view of the beach, with a perfect spot to watch the sunrise and sunset. Beach access is just a walk away. This location offers a downstairs enclosed bathroom with all ammenities for guest to use or to rinse off from enjoying the beautfiul Gulf of Mexico beach. Be sure to make arrangements with management to bring your pet, there is an extra chare to bring pet. Nearest golf cart crossover path is #2.9 Port Lane.

I have stayed at this camp on numerous occasions in the past for Tarpon Rodeo and other occasions so when my wife asked if we could stay in Grand Isle for her birthday, it only made sense to stay at Rocky Top. It brought back many memories and the experience did not disappoint. Check in was easy and the camp was very clean and just what we needed for the whole family and a long weekend get away. Communication with the property managers was easy. You cannot beat the location with easy beach access, the Sureway just across the street and bars and restaurants within walking distance. Overall we had a great time and we will definitely come back to Rocky Top. Thanks for everything!!!

The owners need to invest a little money on the place. 1. The front door would not stay closed without the deadbolt 2. Ac was dripping all over the house I guess the ductwork was sweating. temps set at 69 getting up to 74 during the day another window unit may help with this. 3.oven was broken had to Jimmy rig it most would not have figured it out 4.igniter on stove top did not work had to light with a lighter (not safe) 5. No basket in the boiling pots 6. third bedroom did not have 3 twins as listed. Has 2 twins with a trundle not acceptable for grown men to sleep that close. 7.No way to access the back porch or get off the back porch without jumping if there was a fire . 8.Trash basket container was off the tracks along with some of the drawers 9.Ceiling fans in main living room and dining did not work. 10.Parking is terrible. 11.AC in master was great save. 12. Camp itself was nice and clean. View from the top deck was really added bonus along with the washer dryer area and extra shower area downstairs. I think with a little TLC it can be a top notch stay!!

We had a great time in the Rocky Top house. We had to call the property owner due to the gas being shut off on the island and the water heater having to be relit. The problem was resolved very quickly and we were so thankful!

Our stay was wonderful!! The camp was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting outside on the two decks. The beach is only steps away!! We would definitely stay there again and again!!

We visit during the winter. It is always quiet, empty beaches, we love it. Love the location in the middle of the island. Parked the car when we got there, started it when we left. Will visit again.

We had a great time! The house was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable and it had everything you need for a week stay. Close to the grocery store and really everything! Beautiful view from the top balcony! All around great place!

Thanks we had a great vacation. The location was perfect! Only down fall was washer and dryer is located downstairs in closed in area. The camp needs better knife set. Not enough towels and wash cloths. We had to wash daily! Other then that we it was great!

We loved this house! As a family of five, there was plenty of room for all of us. At night, my husband and I enjoyed escaping to the crow’s nest to stargaze. The decor and furniture made the space feel cozy. Our family took advantage of being steps away from the beach. Perfect beach vacation!!
