Very little. Resonable location.
Awful reception area. Nothing personal at all. A phone and someone who speaks little English. No breakfast included. Seems to be part of a mean trend now. Charge for parking on their own grounds. Tiny cramped "Deluxe Twin". Two old narrow beds with little space between them and little space in the room. Two old crispy towels and nothing else. Couldn't wait to leave. This establishment is money over service. It's not that is cheap either. It should be. I'll pay more attention to reviews from now on. Try somewhere else.

Hotel requires a serious refurbishment. I could clearly hear the conversation at other side of the wall. Rooms are not really clean rather looks dirty.
It is an old place.
Status of the building and lack of communication with management. There is only one person around. I had to make phone call each time to make a request.
3.2
It was very quiet, which was a silver lining on an otherwise poor experience.
Shabby, cramped and uncomfortable. It felt like a halfway house or HMO with a shared kitchen. We booked the hill view room and got a view across a car park. It needs modernising and some TLC to repair the shabby workmanship of cabling, tiling and decoration. We paid £230 for a twin room for two nights, which I felt was extortionate. I'd expect to have paid £40 a night max for the quality of hotel.

Reasonable cost
Very clean
Easy check-in/out
Comfortable beds
Extra bedding and towels
Mini fridge
Coded door entry, so no keys
24-hour contact with reception
Quiet nights sleep
Large.room with double bed and extra sofa bed
Large bathroom with walk-in shower
The door to my room did rattle a bit.
3.2
The room was clean. Comfortable bed. Good quality TV. Very quiet place to stay. Fitted our needs.
The door to ensuite did not shut from inside. Taps on sink a bit loose.
3.2
Proximity to Tunbridge Well and price affordability
Bed mattress was lumpy and poor quality pillows .
Very functional for affordable transient living , not for tourism
3.2
The room was large and clean. The staff were helpful.
The room didn't smell great nor did the bedding. The building could do with a refurb it looking tired and run down. The check in was strange, ringing through to get a number for the door. The Netflix didn't work.
3.2
Vincent was really helpful and a blessing to me. Thank you.
No cupboard space. Put into a VERY cramped room.
3.2
Not much really
Was not clean, poor facilities. Way overpriced. Attention to detail, did not bother making the effort with the rooms. Would not stay here again.
3.2
Very clean, could even smell the bleach everywhere! Location was also good. TV had Netflix for relaxing in the evening.
Reception looks like a hospital A&E, with space for a receptionist behind bullet proof glass. When we arrived it was unmanned, we had to call someone to get the door code to our room. Entire place looks tired and in need of redecorating. Room very small and bed very well used.
We booked a twin but didn't get one.
3.2
Clean and helpful host
The room was like day light all night because of the outside lighting. Please confer putting in block blinds/curtains.

Refused to the so called breakfast as it was only bread and cereals was the offer And the kitchen wasn't even cleaned enough. Wasn't fit for purpose
1.Front entrance wasn't secured and not manned at all during our stay. Anyone can walk in and out without any apprehension. The room entrances were digitally number keys and looks it hasn't been changed. Therefore any previous lodger can get into the room during your absence and helped themselves of your properties. There's no safe to secure expensive items. There's no walldrope to hang our clothes or other items into .The carpet has really seen it's best years
2.The bedsheet and the duvet covers were not changed. The room wasn't cleaned before our arrival..Dust was all over the bed headboard and the shelves. The sink and the toilet were not even cleaned ti a good standard .There were stains on the bedsheet and the duvet (with pictures to proof)
We had to buy new bedsheet and pillow covers from nearby supermarket Tesco's stores for use.
There's no enough hot water for shower, the second day in the morning ,Had to wait for 30 to 45 minutes to for the hot water be switched on before having shower to go to the wedding party
3.There wasn't a management on site to complain to,apart from a telephone situated in the kitchen.
There was no staff during late evening or night times
3.2
Nice location
Was lot smaller then expected and did not like the en-suite was down hall and having to use a code not really convenient.
3.2
absolutely nothing, I hated every minute of the stay.
dirty, unsafe security. no staff present. Scared even thought i'm a male. badly set up rooms and such poor quality.
Exceptionally noisy guests until about 6am, dogs in room barking all night. guests arguing in room all night and swearing.
You could also hear people having sex
3.2
The location was great
Cleanliness and facilities
3.2
I have not received my fully refundable damage deposit that was stated at time of booking with no explanation why. On top of the fact it was already quite an expensive stay for the quality of room, poor WiFi signal and a shared bathroom.
3.2
closeness to town centre & local amenities
A little tired, & in need of updating but ok.
3.2
Location nice and staff seemed nice
I’m not somebody who likes to complain however I won’t be staying here again as Cleanliness really really poor for a hotel
Marks allover worn out bed covers so didn’t dare sleep under them, ended up laying my clothes on the bed and sleeping on top of them instead. We probably would have left and gone elsewhere if it wasn’t late and didn’t have to get up early in the morning.
Was also marks on towels and shower mat and shower glass hadn’t been cleaned, cobwebs on ceiling etc
Was a shame as the place Has potential to be a nice budget hotel but really need to raise cleaning standards and invest in some new bedding and towels etc as the standard of hygiene is not acceptable for paying customers. Power also went out in the morning for quite a long time so made it difficult to get ready to leave which was the Cherry on the cake really

The sheets were dusty.

great location, nice room, quiet
difficulty checking in, set up for remote check in via phone on reception but nobody answered, had to telephone booking.com customer service then waited 30 mins for someone to turn up
3.2
Rooms where not cleaned, new towels or restocked with tea/Coffee for second night of stay. Room was really cold. Shower either freezing or burning hot.
And also got overcharged for our stay.
There's no to little on premises staff, and for any issues you have to phone to speak to someone, but issues took over a week to be resolved.
Front door open at all times.
No drawers or cupboards to store bags or clothes.
Very poor value for money.
3.2
It was very quiet staff were really friendly and lovely location if I had any problems I could contact them direct 24hrs a day
The bedside tables were wobbly so put anything on the tables and they would wobble and things would fall of also the towel were very rough and hard need abit of fabric conditioner and the bedroom was nearly on top floor its needs a lick of paint and painting
3.2
It is ideally situated to access London or trips to Europe. We stayed the night before a Eurotúnnel crossing. The rooms were quiet, comfortable and clean. We were made to feel very welcome at breakfast the next morning by an attentive team who had made sure my daughter was well catered for with gluten-free options and our breakfasts were delicious.
When we next come down this way we will definitely stay at Anand lodge again. Very reasonable priced and very friendly. We will also recommend you to our friends and family.
Thank you!!

Location was brilliant
It was a very last minute booking so was surprised we was accommodated
Would have been nice to see someone on the reception which we didn't when we arrived and left
3.2
The beds where horrible and the owners didn't seem to have a clue what they where doing I had to check myself in through a phone and the room checker had to keep calling his wife to talk to us. They didn't even know what room we had booked when it should have been on the system.
3.2
nice location
