Sehr positiv Anfangs aber ein sehr ernüchternder Aufenthalt

Pros: -Butler Darell war super freundlich und bereit alle möglichen Einkäufe und Wünsche zu erfüllen. -Ganzer Strand plus Pool für uns alleine gehabt. Pool mit Quellwasser ohne Chlor. -Breakfast, Lunch und Dinner am Strand. -Zu Beginn sehr positiv überascht aber das legt sich mit jedem Tag ein bisschen mehr.

Cons: -Zu hohe verpflegungs Preise. Eine Flasche Wasser (500ml) 48 pesos ist total überteuert im einem so heißen Land. Man merkt das die Inhaberin aufgrund der wenig Gäste soviel wie möglich von den Gästen extrahieren will. -Bei den Pommes die wir bestellten, war eine frittiertes Insekt dabei, Preis wurde nicht erstattet. Das Hähnchen Curry war nicht ganz durch und teilweise rosa... -versteckte Kosten bei jedem Gericht auf der Karte (12%vat+10%service), obwohl diese schon bei 200-700pesos pro Gericht gepreist sind. -Ameisen ohne Ende im Zimmer die auch oft im Bett gekrabbelt sind. -Jeden Tag am Strand von einheimischen Verkäufern belästigt worden, die mit ihren Booten angefahren sind, sobald man einen Fuß auf den Strand gesetzt hat, für völlig überteuerten Ramsch. Man musste täglich mehrmals kommunizieren das man nichts kaufen möchte bis diese endlich abgehauen sind. -Durch vielfaltige Vegetation auf dem Gelände gab es extrem viele Mosquitos, man sollte sich auf 3-5 Stiche am Tag vorbereiten und unbedingt Insektenschutz mitnehmen. -Der Duschkopf in der Dusche war völlig zu verkalkt und das Wasser ist nur aus drei vier Löchern gekommen. -Man war sehr isoliert und es wird schnell langweilig weshalb wir vorzeitig nach 3 von 4 Tagen ausgecheckt sind. -Ganzes Gelände ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und das merkt man auch. -Wassersport Aktivitäten wie Jetski fahren, mit denen geworden wurde waren nicht möglich, da diese defekt waren.

Good but...

Staff are very helpful.

Stairs from parking to the resort is a challenge. Close to impossible for Senior citizens and PWD. Food is good but can be better. It is also pricey. Rooms are spacious with adequate aircon. Toilets and bathrooms are ok with warm water. Some of the structures need repainting/ reconstructing like the pool bar. There is no curfew imposed. Some of the guests were loud and partying even after 1am. This is not ideal for other guests that need to relax.

Not recommended for kids and the elderlies

Breakfast location by the beach is nice

Price is high for the location. Its not child and elderly friendly. Stairs going to the resort is too long and steep for them. You have to carry your own luggage. Well they found a vehicle for them upon check out but we were made to pay extra and the drive took them 30minutes from the cottage to the back-entrance. We wene not informed of this long wait. Beach is full of washed corals, not the kind whre you can just lay down, play, and swim. Understaffed too. No one to attend to us after 6pm.

high expectations, did not deliver. old photos on the site. in dire need of rehab. the pool was empty. we really wanted

I am really struggling with this review. this place has so much potential. the folks were super nice and helpful. the food was good. this is a great place to completely DISCONNECt as you are isolated. your pretty much left to buy the food and water there.

the photos on booking.com are old. it’s run down and in need of repair. the pool was empty, the beach wasn’t really a beach.

Won’t be coming back

peaceful and comfy/clean accommodation. great staff

hell of a trek down from the main road. very steep with many steps. Owner charges for every little extra like water, when the hotel stay was high price in the first place. all food was very expensive and complimentary breakfast disappointing. You were made to feel a prisoner if you wanted to leave the resort to explore anywhere else, which we did most days in our week stay. The beach wasn’t good for bathing. Mud and silt under the surface. Glad to make our escape in the end.

clean and comfortable! Kristine was our what they call butler and she was just amazing, so kind and she does an amazing all around Job! if you go there please take care of her! when we tipped her she was so grateful she could afford to buy rice.

Beautiful views but difficult to get to from the road.

the staff especially the personal butlers

The property is situated in a ridge going down to the beach. It is not suitable for some elderly guests since one needs to walk down and trek through more than 60 steps going down and up to the rooms. Some parts of the property needs renovations and repair. there is only limited signal which is only accessible at the beach front near the wharf. The pool is not well maintained. We came during electricity black out and some areas cannot be supplied entirely by the generator. The beach is not clean and seabed have lots of algae which made it slippery and not suitable for swimming. It was a no smoking resort but some male staff are smoking near the beach.

It has to be developed a bit and should have some recreations so that the guest will enjoy not only the view. Kindly do something about your internet connection also so that we can keep in touch with our family way back home.

Greedy owner is running a prison, staff not fairly treated and guests are scammed

I feel scammed. It was like a prison. Massively overpriced food (3x normal cost) and not allowed to leave the resort to buy other food. Also, when booking I was told the airport transfer would cost 7600php, but 3 months later the price jumped to 11,000php. Apparently due to increased fuel costs. However, the RORO ferry fee was only 200php each way. Total scam, the actual cost to the resort would be under 1,000php for round trip transfers. Also, the "free transfer" doesn't exist, so booking.com need to remove that. Very disappointed and feel the resort owner is a fraud, very unfair. I can't complain about the views, they are very nice. But views alone can't command that sort of expense and aside from a swimming pool, there is nothing else to do on the resort. Not even allowed to leave to buy reasonable-priced food! The owner knows he is greedily scamming all the guests and knows that nobody will return. Such a shame, because with some integrity and conscience, lowering the food prices or allowing outside food, he would actually make more profit and also guests wouldn't feel scammed. Such a let-down. My advice to anyone, please don't be fooled by the beautiful pictures. Yes it really does look beautiful but if you want to eat too, then you would need bank financing, and even an island hopping tour would cost in access of 10,000php

This place needs work. Poor management!!

Great location and friendly staff.

The place is rundown and needs repairs. Too many chickens and dogs and liter. Any complaints fall on deaf ears because the owner really doesn’t care. There are no restaurants nearby and you have to eat at the resort and the food is too expensive and not so good. We drove a car there so we were able to go off the resort to eat. They do not allow you to bring snacks or drinks and they will search you to make sure you don’t.

overall it was pleasant & would go back another time.

it was serene with a lot of plants around the resort. it was quiet and very relaxing.

the bathroom needed some cleaning. there were tresspassers walking around the property. it made it look like the front of the cabanas was a common passage for the locals as well.

the place is really peaceful and if you want to re charge it would be perfect.

The person handling their FB ACCOUNT and Butler we had disclosed private information with someone who inquired in their FB PAGE WHICH IS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I don’t think the management knows about this, but it should be addressed otherwise I wouldn’t feel safe to stay here again.

Very laid-back and awesome stay!

Having a personal Butler! Beach - shallow but crystal clean.
