A very pretty quaint , and relaxing place to be , with a lovely owner that looked after us from the moment we arrived . The whole very clean and comfortable.
She had even made room in her garage for us to park out motorcycles overnight .

Very nice place to stop on the way from St Malo to Rennes. Room was not large but had enough space and comfort for our overnight stay.
We liked the reception, bar and lounge areas; a cutie friendly dog made us smile wanting to play. And restaurant evening meal - omg, this alone could be the reason to visit and stay. Thanks to the hosts :)

Fergal & Virginie the proprietors host this fabulous hotel bar restaurant. The establishment is tastefully decorated and spotless. The Bar is open for guests and walk-ins as the hosts are so welcoming. With free On site parking and Early check in for us was a bonus. We felt like family when speaking to the hosts. Fergal is a very talented well travelled Chef. The cuisine was cooked to perfection. We enjoyed our evening meal.
Both Hosts spoke good English and have a fabulous sense of humour which we loved. We ate at their Restaurant (no obligation) and it was spectacular. One of the best meals we had experience in our 6wk road trip around France. We have no hesitation recommending the hotel or the restaurant. I only wish we had the time to stay longer during our return to UK. They recommended a short walk around the canal which we did and enjoyed and can only imagine in the summer it would be even more beautiful. Thank you both for making our short stay so memorable.

location, price, room good for the price
The main attraction for staying here was the nice in house resteraunt. We got there at just before 6pm after 6 hours driving only to be told that the resteraunt was fully booked. very disappointing. Maybe we should have explicitly booked in advance but it is normal for the hotel to ask if you want a table, or to keep one aside. We did find somewhere else but had to drive there and search out the local options. My wife also found it very noisy as we were none the kitchen, maybe it can’t be helped but still.

I think breakfast could be included as part of the price we paid.

Arrived late and the proprietors still managed to cook us a lovely evening meal. Breakfast was lovely and fresh too.
Air conditioning or a fan in the room.

we are a family of 4 travelling by bike packing and this was ideal.
A single entrance to two separate bedrooms with a bathroom between the rooms. basically a very spacious family suite. exceptionally clean with excellent facilities including bath and shower Brilliant value for money.
the proprietor was incredibly welcoming and so delightful to us.
We were so warmly welcomed ( with perfect English) ensuring we had all we needed and the food in the restaurant was amazing- including g a children’s menu.
The morning buffet breakfast in the restaurant was perfect to set us up for another days biking.
Our bikes were safely secured in the large garage and nothing was too much of a problem for this amazing host.
Nothing.

Room decor was top, with comfy bed and very clean. Good location to visit the region
Thought restaurant was a bit overpriced for quantity of food served.

A very warm welcome from the friendly staff and a very large room for the 3 of us - it was a fully accessible room, which seemed to cater well for wheelchair-users. Everything was very clean and we enjoyed the buffet style breakfast.
The property was right on a road so even though it wasn’t a really busy road, vehicles were passing quite close to our ground-floor room.

Virginie and Fergus were absolutely charming, the room was comfortable and clean with good facilities. The breakfast offered a good selection, and the dinners were superb, far better than we would have expected at a small hotel. We would definitely recommend eating in the restaurant even though there is a limited menu, Fergus is a first class cook. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area and will recommend it to our friends.
We have no adverse comments, everything met with our expectations.

This place just looked ok on Booking.com, but turned out to be excellent. A good sized room in a pleasant Logis. The owner spoke fluent English and was super helpful. At the back of the property was a sunny garden, great for a drink before dinner. The meal in the restaurant was good, as was breakfast.

The lady on reception gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful.Took our bikes to store overnight and helped us with our bags to our room..The room and bed were very comfortable. There were facilities in the room to make hot drink which was very welcome. Dinner was excellent the chef took a lot of trouble in the presentation of the food. There was a good choice at breakfast. A great start to our journey south.
Nothing comes to mind.

I highly recommend Le Logis du Vieux Moulin.
The Goodwins were friendly, upbeat and helpful. The rooms are all beautifully renovated and have character. We absolutely loved dinner prepared by Chef Fergal Goodwin.
Picturesque old windmill building with unique views in a quiet town. One of the best places you could stay in Brittany for excellent value.
