Dog friendly

In need of a bit of maintenance Quite noisy very early in the morning.. I think staff arriving for another hotel and the seagulls on the roof above. The window was blocked by overgrown foliage and the overhead light broken.

Recent stay was very good

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. There was plenty of space around the room as well and generally it was very clean. Overall thought the room was very good

My wife would have liked a full length mirror being truthful. It could also do with a shelf being added to the bathroom as there was nowhere to keep all the toiletries

Highly recommended

The location is perfect it is in the city centre of Bowness and close to everything, also we met the owner and she was so nice and lovely The place was sooo clean, highly recommend.

There wasn't a lock for the bathroom door and also the main light for the room was not working.

we had a perfect weekend in the lakes

located 5 mins walk to Lake and quiet, beautiful back street 30 seconds from centre of village (car park 2 mins walk away), clean, very comfortable and staff wonderful

Everything was very clean and lovely, the location of the property was perfect really central. The host was very welcoming we had eveything we needed nothing was to much trouble. We would certainly stay there again 😀 😁😁

Fabulous stay

perfect weekend stay with our dog. Room was spotless and very well furnished with everything you would need for a great stay. the staff were absolutely lovely, couldn’t do enough for us. Our doggy was made to feel very welcome, with plenty of fuss which he loved! Great bar downstairs and right in the heart of Bowness which made it perfect for our stay. Really looking forward to staying again! Thanks so much Kath & team x

Fantastic stay

Very welcoming, clean, comfortable and felt homely. Very helpful team and the lady that owns the property was so lovely and chatty. Beautiful garden and quiet. I will definitely stay here again. Central location

The only thing would be that it would of been lovely to eat a meal there if the restaurant was open

Fantastic stay

Checking in we were greeted by a very polite and helpful guy, carried my wife's suitcase up to the room. Was taken in the room which was room number 4, it was clean, spacious and lots of extras like shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, ample tea, coffee and sugar for the stay. Bed was comfy and had 2 good nights sleep. I could not fault anything about our stay. We will definitely like to come back soon.

Home from home.

From the moment we arrived (earlier than agreed) we were made to feel welcome and part of the family. All the staff were friendly and happy to help, which was welcomed as a single parent travelling with an 8 year old and our dog. When asking advice on breakfast and things to do the staff and locals in the hotel bar were happy to offer their help and knowledge. At first I was worried about the parking situation but the car park is a stones throw from the hotel and isn’t over priced. Overall I highly recommend staying here!

Superb

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are through the courtyard next to the pub so you don’t hear any noise from the pub. Rooms are spacious and clean. The locations is perfect- everything in town within walking distance to the restaurants, pubs, bars and marinas.
