Tengan cuidado intentan cobrar dos veces

La angustia de que cobren 2 veces hace que no valga la pena el hotel.

Por un error en su sistema tenian mal registrada el dia de salida mi reserva. Fue una experiencia muy desagradable. A pesar de mostrar correos enviados por el area de reservas del hotel, querian hacer el cobro de una noche extra y que yo fuera quien gestionara el tema con el área correspondiente que porqie eso “se salia de sus manos”. Esto no fue solo uno sin 3 personas diferentes. Solo fue hasta que el manager intervino que el tema fue resuelto y decidieron creerle a sus propios correos (que por cierto eran varios). Es absolutamente increíble que en un hotel uno tenga esta experiencia teniendo las pruebas de las fechas de la reserva. Que lo somentan a uno al estres de estar pensando y viendo como demuestra que hizo las cosas bien y que cuando puede hacerlo igual no le crean. La sensación de impotencia y angustia por dos dias en un viaje de 3. Lastima el manejo que le dan a esos temas y que solo hasta que el gerente interviene los resuelvan.

Excelente servicio y alimentación

El personal de recepción fue muy amable y atento a todas nuestras dudas. En las habitaciones, las camas son perfectas para un buen descanso luego de un día de turismo y el desayuno en el restaurante fue algo de otro mundo, muy delicioso.

amazing rooms and breakfast

really nice rooms and comfiest bed. big smart tv so really nice to just chill in the room. breakfast was amazing and breakfast staff really nice. we were also allowed to chill in the hotel after check out while we waited for our transport. lots of nice seating areas around the hotel

didn’t get told much information by the staff on arrival, for example the wifi passcode or where the pool was. also got woken up by staff knocking on our door at 8am even though we were checking out that day and not even sure what they were asking.

beautiful building.

i loveed the architecture and details all around this hotel. it is exquisite and beautiful. the personnel is very welcoming and it is in a perfect location.

the hot tub could be updated…

a very special unique hotel in a wonderful world heritage city

it’s history, the gardens and little courtyards were so beautiful as was rooftop bar. the rooms were also great, very big and a great combo of new and old

comfortable bed

5 star?? I dont think so..I ordered a junior suite..What I got was a small dark room..No coffee machine ..no kettle..No mini bar…tacky soap/skin products..No face cloth…cheap plastic “wood” floor…No bath?..even the sweets left on the bed were dog biscuits. The bar is more like a dentists waiting room. Poor service. I don’t have a measuring tape but this room is not 34m square. And of course no bedside sockets.

Beautiful property in a great location. Amazing breakfast!

Be careful when booking - the price in USD on booking.com is not the price you will pay. The hotel will charge you in Guatemalan quetzales but use their own exchange rate which is about 0.5 above the market rate.

Beautiful property. We loved the grounds and our suite. Comfy bed, pillows and linens. Would certainly stay here again on our next trip to Antigua.

Though our room was beautiful, the bathroom of our room did have a funky smell from the humidity. Also, the safe in our room didn’t work.

Great property and service in Antigua, highly recommended!

Great property. The location allows to visit Antigua walking around everywhere, staff is very professional, good food and all you need for your stay in Antigua.

We loved it, just a bit noisy as there were renovations going on during the day but nothing bothering too much and it was very quiet in the evenings and nights.

A bit disappointing!

Nice place, very comfy bed, great shower and bathroom facilities...

The food/breakfast was disappointing. I also phoned in advance to have the jet tub filled while we were out in town. Returned and nothing. So I filled it myself. But water wouldn't get warm.

Perfect for a short romantic week end in Antigua

Boutique stylished hotel beautifully decorated. Great service and perfect location in Antigua. Great view from the terrace over the volcanoes.

The breakfast was very minimal not worth the price. They should offer one salted and one sweet option instead of only one option for the guests. That’s the only regret, rest all was perfect.
