Neu renoviert.
Wasserkocher sah sehr unhygienisch aus.
Kein Kühlschrank.

Cosy rooms and we had an excellent dinner at the restaurant.
The breakfast could unfortunately not keep up with the dinner we had. It was served in a room which is probably used for large tourist groups and the selection, arrangement and quality was accordingly.

its on the way of our around island trip, proper distance from glacier lagoon, so its kind of convenient.
the lighting, a littler too dark. and 3 people room is the same size of 2 people's......

all good

It was charming and quirky.
breakfast wasn’t included and thankfully I thought about it as I was taking some of my gear to the car, to make sure I didn’t lock myself out. The main door was locked and being on my own, it would have been a problem had I been locked out. I wasn’t made aware of this.

When booking 3 months before we were due to arrive we were advised there was a restaurant for us to have dinner. It was winter with no food options available anywhere within reasonable driving distance, We called to confirm arrival time mid morning and were then advised dinner would not be available. We purchased sandwiches which we ate in the room. When we did arrive after the check in time the hotel was locked. We called and were advised to wait in the car for an additional half an hour. It was January with temps in the minus. If they did not want the reservation because it was winter then refuse the booking. This was very poor and unlike the rest of our trip to Iceland which was wonderful.

This was great stop on our trip.

The welcome by (I think the owner) was enormously welcoming and friendly. Furthermore the hotel is extremely charming with a beautiful view and the room was comfortable and tasteful. I should have stayed longer, I loved it.
N.a.

empathy and friendliness with a smile in the face is just
one thing I liked a lot. not only at the front desk, throughout
the house..

The staff was welcoming and helpful! The building itself is full of charm and the rooms very comfy. it was a nice stop on the way.
4.3
Nice location, quaint facility.
Breakfast was ridiculously overpriced for a few slices of stale bread and some meats. Coffee was not good.
4.3
The hotel is beautifully renovated and offers great facilities- comfy beds, beautiful bathrooms, dining room, sauna and a picturesque location in the harbour. Dinner was delicious but very expensive
The hotel is very nice and met all expectations but we thought the dinner and breakfast were overly expensive compared to other guest houses we stayed in

I Loved staying here. This was such a unique hotel. It was a classy home converted into a fancy hotel. The staff were awesome! They left a hot water pot and tea in our room, they had a nice Icelandic sheep wool blanket as well as the feather blanket. The room was clean and beds were comfy. Plenty of bathrooms. They had a nice dinning hall, but we arrived late so we missed dinner, but it was fancy place. It was in a quiet part of town. We loved this place and wished we could have stayed longer.
Nothing.

Top notch restaurant, staff went above and beyond for their guests.

Breakfast not included
4.3
Great restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
Shared bathroom. Two good shared bathrooms among five rooms would have been good. But with one permanently wet due to a leaking shower and poor drainage made the experience less than ideal.
4.3
Quaint environment. You could tell every piece of the building was moved from Copenhagen in 1906 :D the staff is very nice and caring, the mood fits with the Cittaslow.
4.3
Staff, cosy room and nice atmosphere. Restaurant is very nice.
Cannot properly open the windows. Some soap for the shower would be a nice addition.
