We enjoyed our stay

Just what we needed - pretty central

The receptionist on duty when we arrived had obviously had a bad day and the fact we didn’t speak Spanish didn’t make it easy for her - she was most unfriendly!!! Park I g was a bit of an issue but we managed!!

Don't recommend

Uncomfortable bed. Dirty bathroom. Water changes to boiling and back to normal while showering despite not touching the settings. No shampoo/conditioner provided. Just one pillow. Super loud at night. Horrible parking situation. Had to look for street parking for a long time. Pictures provided don't correspond to reality.

It was very pleasant, the place is in a very good location.

Everything went ok but unfortunately on the first night there was no hot water... We informed the guest over text but no reply was given.

Great and helpful staff. Facilities are okay, can't ask for more for the price. Good for short stays.

Sound proofing is not great. Although there were two doors in our room before getting to the hall and the breakfast area it was possible to hear the commotion at breakfast. Though it was not a problem for us, as we got up early, light sleepers could find it inconvenient for longer stays.

Pleasent stay in a confortable place.

Staff is friendly, the room with the river view is nice. Some had balcony, ours didn't have it. Walking distance to the center. Supermarket near by. Easy to park on the street.

Bad soundproofing in the rooms. No elevator.

the views we had from our room very definitely the best! it’s such a prime location and beautiful place in the world, it makes it totally worth it. it’s old fashioned but it had high levels of cleanliness and breakfast was good too. there’s some rooms that have balconies and I think that would be a total highlight.

it was a bit pricey compare to others hotels in the holiday. but as it was Easter , it might had been pricey elsewhere.

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in

This hotel was centrally located to the tourist activities. The staff was wonderful, a woman, her mother and her daughter. They were very accommodating to us, even though our Spanish was pretty weak. Very enjoyable site.

good spot

Staff was great, everyone who worked there was personable and professional. Rooms weren’t huge or fancy but were clean and comfortable, ours had a great view of the mountain and you could hear the river below. On-site restaurant offered a great selection for their set dinner menu, I would’ve eaten there a third time if we’d stayed that long. Also they did a very affordable picnic bag to take in the Cares hike.

Shame about the noise

Spacious room Balcony Bed was comfortable Toiletries and clean towels Staff didn't speak english but were friendly Price was good

Honestly for the price cant complain much, however there were 2 major issues which is why i cut down the rating -Very noisy. 0 soundproofing. From the extremely loud engine noise from 6 bikers till late night and early in the morning when they left, to the cars passing by and rubbish trucks very early morning. I woke up so many times. Which is why I wouldn't stay there again -Balcony door broken and wouldn't shut properly. Also causing the noise to be heard louder. Receptionist came, tried to fix and said is too late to call anyone. Then left - very hot as well with no air con

excellent room with balcony overlooking the river. The locations is great, you can walk 2 minutes down the road to go for a dip in the river. beautiful views and only 5 minutes from the centre of town.

Old-fashioned and ugly place near the town center badly in need of renovation and modernization.

The rooms were relatively clean. That abs it’s location are the only positive things. Everything else was negative. I had not realized there was no elevator, and it was very unpleasant having to drag heavy suitcases to the 2nd floor. The rooms (there were two, joined) were very Spartanburg furnished, old-fashioned and simply ugly. One room did not have a window at all, which made it both dark and stuffy. The other room, which did have a window on the street side, did not have proper curtains, so the room was too bright to sleep in. The receptionist spoke absolutely no English, and when I asked whether there was another room at a lower level, her main concern was to use google translate to let me know that I had been well informed of the absence of an elevator (which I doubt). But even if she tried to be friendly overall, the absence of communication was a problem. Overall, the only good thing was its relative proximity to the town center (btw even parking was a problem on the street). All in all, I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

Superb

Clean and simple room. Staff were very helpful and pleasant despite only speaking Spanish. Balcony door was repaired very quickly and efficiently when issue reported.

Poor wall soundproofing between rooms - a very common problem in spanish hotels. Other guests were generally considerate.
