Exceptional

The location is excellent right in the center and close by foot to everywhere. Camila and Julian are lovely hosts and very helpful.

There is no parking on site. There is a parking lot nearby for a fee

An enjoyable overnight stay in an excellent location in Bordeaux

The breakfast was generous and very good, served by a very obliging and friendly young lady. Nothing was too much trouble. The dining area was very clean and spacious. The building itself is a little quirky, and the bathroom had a modernised feel about it yet the room retained lots of old world character. A very nice ambiance. An underground carpark very close by.

The door locks are a bit clunky sometimes, and there was a musky smell in the stairwell. Had to be careful that the timed light switches didn’t cut off because the stairwell was pitch black. A single low wattage light which is constantly on would be helpful.

Camille and Julien are exceptional. very tastefully designed.

Unfortunately no aircon, just a fan. But with windows open the street was noisy at night and early morning 6 am road works (even with windows closed) lead to little sleep.

excellent location and we had a very comfortable, modern room. Julian was a great host and he recommended two excellent restaurants for dinner. the tram system in Bordeaux was so easy to use.

great location easy access everywhere and short distance to parking. room was beautiful especially for a couple

Air conditioning would be an added bonus, but fan provided was adequate. only downside, which isn’t the hotels fault, is the bad drain smell from outside, a very hot and humid day! also be aware our room had open bathroom so maybe not so great for friends only!

The room was steeped in character in a wonderful part of town. Lots of period features and surprisingly quiet.

Breakfast was disappointing. A porridge option and some ham or cheese would have been a nice touch.

Excellent location, stylish, noisy.

It's well decorated and stylish and in an excellent location. We didn't end up taking our dog but they are pet friendly.

It's noisy - not in terms of road noise but rather, internal noise. Our room was downstairs, under the kitchen and lounge area and we could hear every step above our heads rather early in the morning. Rugs and more soft furnishings would help. The bathroom (including the toilet) was in our room, divided only by a glass screen. Although it looked great, toilet privacy was, erm, well, interesting.

No Air conditioning is tough on warm nights! It is too loud to leave your windows open.
