Excellent people.

Breakfast was minimal but adequate. No meat or cheese.

Being woken up at 4am by the garbage collection flashing lights and bin banging. Needs to be done tho.

Nice b&b to stay near Monet Gardens in Giverny

The place is a nice and clean bed & breakfast. The location is excellent to visit Giverny and the Monet Gardens

Our room (#3) had a private bathroom, but it was outside of the room in a corridor, a little inconvenient. Breakfast was very basic, not even continental

Disappointing because the management seem to be out of their depth in running a hotel.

Friendly helpful hosts and good location.

The location is fantastic and I got to Monet's garden in the morning before the crowds. My room was large and comfortable. Also room for my bike (Avenue Verte) Hosts were very helpful and responsive to messages before my stay to make arrangements for check in and I was able to leave luggage and bike after checkout, whilst seeing the Monet Foundation. When I left an item behind, they reunited me with it the same day! Thanks so much 🙂

Stay here you won’t be disappointed!

Right in the heart of the village & close to Monet’s House & Garden. It was a great location & I loved walking around the outskirts of the village as well. The room overlooked the valley which was nice & green. The bed was super comfy, a full bathroom was attached & the tea & coffee facilities completed the suite. The owner was also very helpful.

Perhaps for the price the continental breakfast could have been included.

It was okay. You are paying for the location.

• The location was perfect, in the heart of Giverny. • The bedroom was pretty (Nympheas) • The bed was comfortable • The shower room was en suite (which isn’t clear in the description so that was a bonus)

• The two bedroom chairs in the photos are small scale. An adult could perch on one while you pull on your socks but you couldn’t sit comfortably to read or watch TV, etc. • The lounge and dining areas were very ‘plastic’. Sofas were covered in plastic sheeting and there was white plastic patio furniture in the ‘Tea Room’. I’ve stayed in hostels with better quality furnishings.

Ok for 1 night if you wish to stay in Giverny itself.

Excellent location, all Giverny attractions within a short walk. Easy parking. The room was comfortable and had a little private area outside.

Breakfast consisted of stale croissants and bread so we went somewhere else on our other morning.

Great location but not quite what we were looking for.

Great location and it looked beautiful from the outside.

Decor was a bit cheap and cheerful for the price and the bathroom was very basic with an old fashioned shower.

A beautiful setting for visiting Monet's house and gardens

The hotel is right on the main street, located just a short distance from Monet's house and gardens. The breakfast is an excellent price. A beautiful view from the window of a meadow.

There are stairs to some rooms so not suitable for handicapped.

Win on quant and location, loss on a hard bed

The property is as quaint and well located as can be. It's a period building with classic cute rooms and exterior. It's located very close to the church where Monet is buried and a lovely short walk to his home and gardens.

The bed was hard as a rock and I wasn't provided with, nor advised where, I would find bath towels. It was late and there was no one to ask. I literally used the bath mat as a towel. When I mentioned the towel issue the next morning the owners only then attempted to explain where they could be found in some unknown closet (not in my room) that wasn't readily identifiable. I take no joy in giving a critical review.

I am grateful to have found and stayed in Le coin des Artistes.

The location was a short walk past lovely flowers and shrubs to the Monet gardens and house. The hosts made this charming old house very welcoming and comfortable, from the bed and tea things to the cleanliness of the facilities and original artwork and furnishings in the house. I enjoyed the lovely view from the two casement windows in my room.

I don't know if wifi was available in the house.

A very convenient place to stay for access to the gardens and the room had a nice view.

The room and bathroom were very clean. The hosts were very polite and welcoming. The location was quiet and very convenient.

We are so glad we stayed here. It is the ideal place from which to see and "do" Giverny!

Very nice room. It was immaculate and nicely furnished. We loved the view out over the street into the grassy yard beyond. It was a very cold day when we arrived. The room was already heated, warm and comfortable when we arrived...a very nice touch! The breakfast room and breakfasts were very nice, too. You can't beat this location so close to the Monet gardens and home, the impressionist museum, good restaurants and shops. Our host greeted us cheerfully and was great to work with, very pleasant and helpful in answering any questions we had. We are happy to recommend Le Coin Artists. We will definitely want to stay there when and if we come back.
