It is very peaceful. Great facilities. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms lovely. Oven challenging to operate without instructions. TV was not straightforward to operate. But all in all very pleasant experience. Thank you.

Sweet Briar in the Vines was absolutely stunning. Everything about it was fabulous, we couldn’t find any faults. The generosity as far as providing breakfast, condiments and complimentary wine, and not to mention the accommodation itself are just a few of the stand outs. There was absolutely nothing we didn’t have at our fingertips. Well done to the owners.

Fantastic position among the vines, yet close enough to the town.
Great set up for up to 4 individuals or 4 couples.

An excellent spacious house for a group to stay in, and the atmosphere of being amongst the vines is a bonus.
On arrival we saw that Judith had provided a quality bottle of Shiraz for us to enjoy, and enjoy it we did.
Of especial note was the kitchen, which was equipped way beyond our expectations, complete with ample egg and bacon supplies for breakfast.
A perfect well positioned property for exploring the vineyards of Clare Valley and Martindale Hall.

Loved our stay at Sweet Briar. My friends and I meet up every 2 years. Sweet Briar was perfect. We shared cooking and ate breakfast overlooking the vinyards and dinner in the cosey dining room. The Clare was a lovely spot to visit. Thank you Sweet Briar for the wonderful breakfast and well equipped kitchen/house. It was a memorable experience.

A stunning place to stay. Big, comfy beds, good quality furnishings, delightful views over the vineyards, great appliances in the kitchen, plus the cleanliness in all areas was 100%
I can’t think of anything more to compliment this country house. We all absolutely loved everything about it.

As soon as we drove into the driveway the outlook was spectacular! The cottage was immaculate, well presented and absolutely huge. The wood heater is what sold us with the online pictures but the decor and cleanliness when we entered the home. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms we were amazed by the size and layout. We will bring the family with us next time to enjoy this beautiful place.
The small touches including the provisions for our stay and everything stocked we could possibly need. The lounge was so comfy with plenty of games to choose from. Loved reading the guests comments also. 5/5 for everything and we look forward to drinking our complimentary wine from Judith “O’Dwyer wines”.
Magical and just what we needed for our romantic few days away from the children.

A beautiful setting with everything you could possibly need to make a short holiday very comfortable. The breakfast supplies were very welcomed and generous.
Maybe if someone is using the annex in winter, as we did, an electric blanket would be welcomed.

Perfect home to share with adult children, partners and grandchild. Very comfortable fully equipped home. A bottle of wine from the vineyard and supplies for a very generous cooked breakfast, appreciated. Close to many wineries.

Such a welcoming spacious property nestled off the main road. The perfect blend of old charm and modern bathroom/kitchen facilities. Magical night star viewing with the most efficient wood heater made for cozy nights with a bottle of wine. Lots of room to spread out or gather. Loved our short stay.

We were a group of four friends wanting a break in the Clare Valley and what a perfect property! Four large bedrooms, (one with an annex and two single beds as well), very well equipped kitchen (with lots of pantry items and breakfast provisions included), lovely large rear dining / lounge area with wood burner. Very quiet location, tastefully furnished, eclectic artwork, and located just off the Reisling Trail (we cycled into Clare and several vineyards during our stay). Probably the best equipped kitchen I’ve come across, and overall, just nice touches (lots of towels, toiletries supplies in the bathrooms, laundry products, food provisions etc). Would highly recommend this also to families or a group of friends as the house is large enough to have “space” from each other also, and very close to Clare.

Charming older house and garden with big rooms and comfy furniture. Initial impact somewhat marred by (seemingly) unswept paths and bird droppings on verandah and its furniture, but perhaps this is hard to control. Very well equipped kitchen; generous supplies for cooked breakfast but no cereal.

A beautiful spotlessly clean characterful property in the middle of a vineyard. Fully equipped delightful kitchen with french doors opening to verandah -a delightful spot for breakfast. Quiet peaceful setting with lovely garden and a chorus of birds as you awaken, plenty of comfortable beds with electric blankets and a very large dining/lounge area to relax or view the beautiful countryside - a truly beautiful relaxing enjoyable place to rest and revive.
Thankyou

Lovely Home
Lovely home amongst the vineyards, beds are very comfortable and the back lounge and eating area was superb. The bedrooms are a bit cold but the beds had electric blankets which was great. There were also small heaters provided if you wanted. Breakfast provisions were lovely and the O’Dwyer wine very good! Very relaxing.
