Loved the tranquility and activities, very remote and just beautiful. The Zulu bread was amazing
Nothing

Super entspannter Aufenthalt in Alleinlage. Ideal zum runterkommen. Wir haben es sehr genossen. Das Personal war super lieb und freundlich. Wir waren die Tage die einzigen Gäste. Frühstück und Abendessen war auch sehr lecker.
4.1
Our bedroom and the lake view
They never changed our sheets but made our bed, our bathroom was not Squeky clean. The food was not up to standard ‘chicken & prawn’ curry to be exact. The package didn’t include drinks and they expected us to drink water after dinner.

This place was absolutely beautiful.
The location on the side of the lake was special.
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. It was my partners 60th bday and they arranged a nice celebration to make it!
Rooms well equipped and stunning view
It's a 20km dirt road to get there which takes a while to navigate..... but worth it
4.1
Amazing views, delicious food, great location, perfect room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, great breakfast, great activity options, everything is perfect here!
4.1
Looked really nice ln the internet but turned out to be a bit run down. We stayed in self-catering unit no 100. The jacuzzi was really disgusting, water was smelly and the cover was really slimy. Some lamps did not work and the glass screen door had huge cracks. The counter top near the stove had wide cracks full of crumbs. Obviously this is what I didn't like .....
.....good food. Nice and clean bedlinen. Pleasant and helpful staff.
The road to get there is a bit rough but if you go slowly it's OK.
4.1
Location, lack of interuptions, silence, peaceful
Kids activities seemed very last minute e.g. kids were sent fishing by themselves, damp/or other smell of chalets, linen looks like it's supposed to be white but it is not and has marks/stains, boat had gone off for repairs/maintenace so some activities were not available, for lunch we ordered burgers at 1 pm and were told there were no rolls - they had to make new ones, the kitchen generally took long for food to be ready......
4.1
Everything, the location, the scenery, the way property was clean.
Lack of mosquito repellent, they had one that does not work well. And the place has lots of mosquito. The bunker bedroom should have atleast a fan as it is very hot.

Very friendly staff - good food.

I loved everything!
The long gravel road from the main road to Nibela lodge
4.1
Tranquil and relaxing location, food was great and there were a number of activities offered.
The vegetation infront of each unit needs slightly cleared so there is a view over the lake.
4.1
Quad biking n the spa 😌 😎
The menu
Very limited 😕
The direction to the place was confusing but given by the lodge
Thy need to re look at that .

I have already given a review of Nibela Lake Lodge as I had 2 separate bookings.
4.1
Great place to relax and rejuvenate. 1/2 board (breakfast and dinner) had a lot of choices and everything was well prepared and presented.
4.1
The rooms have incredible views of the lake. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly.
Nothing really.
4.1
The bed was comfortable
Upon arrival neither intercom, at gate worked had to use mobile phone to co tact reception to get the guard who was sitting at gate to open for us. Only vehicles that will make it into property are 4x4’s.
Aircons in both rooms (209&210)not working
Fan in 209 working well
No hot water in either room for showering
Dinner was terrible, seafood pasta smelled off and gave my wife diarrhoea all night. Everything was over spiced and over salted, Hake was so hard & dry it could not be cut. Portions were tiny with 6 Julian carrot slices as veg, that were over cooked and over spiced.
Dietary requirement questions are pointless as I was served milky style Daiquiri after I stated twice by phone and in person in paper, I have a dairy allergy. nearly Every option on menu had dairy of some sort. (The chef did make livers without cream after a discussion)
Entered rooms without permission while at dinner and pillows were put on hats squashing them.
Lakeview is overgrown and obscured, thus can only be appreciated if hunched right down or laying on floor.
Room floor and walls not clean.
No spa services
Property is run down
Receptionist and staff were quite dismissive.
Drinks orders were got wrong 3 times.
Honestly felt like we were not welcome.
RESORT only had 7 other guests I could see or count.
I would not recommend for European or international travellers.
The pool did look clean and inviting.

Beautiful view, staff was happy and friendly. Wifi good. Lodge area and pool was excellent. Breakfast was good, dinner average. Good quality hot drinks/coffee.
Ferry was dated, the walking trails was unkept. The air-cons continually stopped working.
4.1
The tranquility and serenity ,calm area to relax, excellent staff members.
Nothing! Everything was what I expected and more.
4.1
Beautiful isolated, awesome family chalets and walkways. Nice elevated pool area.
everything was great.
4.1
Excellent & friendly staff, great food.
A TV in the room would have been nice.
4.1
The tree house style African lake vibe was terrific.
Owners need to help staff/ chef by a simplified menu to 4-5 dinner items done much better. Food was not up to par.
Staff is terrific! Trying so hard!
4.1
secluded
beautiful location
quiet
peaceful
good options for activities
room was comfortable and clean
well stocked mini bar
very disorganised - no coordination between staff teams
no management visible
staff were generally friendly and made an effort but require additional training and support from management
lack of communication to guests, I.e. late ferry pick up
air con kept tripping with no solve other than need to request someone to manually switch back on
