Excellent location at the heart of Arrowtown. Cozy stay.

Excellent location, just 3min walk to the 2 main streets of Arrowtown

Facilities can be cleaner, some dust are found on the board. Not aware of the free breakfast or else can have a taste of authentic NZ breakfast by the friendly owner.

Nice place with a few shortcomings

The room we stayed in was really nice as was the breakfast, location and cleanliness

When we arrived there was a note on the office door to tell us which room we were in, and the host would come to meet us later when he arrived (that didn't happen) Had to look to find the room and carry the suitcases, which was a bit of a drag, as it was quite a way and there's stairs so you have to lift your case, good luck if it's 20kg. We stayed 2 nights, but didn't get clean glasses / cups for the second day, the room wasn't serviced, and the host said that was because he was being careful of Covid, but then proceeded to bring clean glasses / cups to the door, go figure, and also meet with us at breakfast and check out. Although there was an outdoor fireplace there wasn't any instructions on how to operate it (it's gas)

Charming for a comfortable sleepover

Quaint, great atmosphere, excellent host, spotlessly clean and a great breakfast. Would stay there again

Breakfast was nice and the location within a short walking distance to the main shopping street was very convenient. The bed was comfortable. Paul is a very welcoming host.

The room was a little on the small side. Also beware that the local fire station is right next door and the siren, when it goes off, is very loud.

We had a delightful, peaceful stay at Arrowtown Lodge and enjoyed meeting the host & other guests at breakfast.

Gorgeous cottage with lots of extras like outside seating area, Nespresso machine Friendly host who prepared a lovely breakfast Quiet

No info about the property in the cottage eg. where to assemble in emergency - especially as we were not met on arrival No recycling bin in cottage

Beautiful spot and property. Weather was amazing, very hot.

Fantastic location, friendly relaxed host. Cute little rooms, nicely laid out.

Didn't go to breakfast - only given a 30 minute window. Room and grounds could do with a deep clean and a bit of love.

Well equipped, peaceful and central location

This property had some beautiful gardens onsite and is well located to the town with a short few minutes walk. Onsite parking was convenient. Breakfast met our needs and was nice to hear the stories from other travellers staying onsite. The kitchenette was small but well-equipped.

The shower had some drainage issues with the shower base meaning the bathroom floor got very wet. The bathroom was quite small and could be difficult to negotiate for a larger person.

great location, huge amount of character, loved the layout with each room being a different little studio on the hill

The room could have had an internal seating area as we were there when it rained the room felt small without a seating area Otherwise the room and amenities were lovely

Beautiful, comfortable and quiet location within quick walking distance to the shops and pubs.

We absolutely loved our stay. The property is gorgeous and we especially loved the courtyard and fireplace. Breakfast was delicious and the conversation with our host and other guests was a great way to start the day.

Exceptional

The property was very clean and cosy. There were great amenities as in a very good kitchen and I loved having the fire outside as well as the spa. there was great outdoor dining as well. it would be a great place for a large family to stay as there are multiple lodges. The breakfast was beautiful. A short walk to Arrowtown and not far from Millbrook.
