Overpriced for what it was.

Nice view of the lake

Much smaller than looks in the pictures so felt very cramped despite both our children being under 5. Very few teas / coffees provided and no decaf options.

quiet , basic , very relaxing lovely walk near by & pub amazing

we were a bit late stuck in traffic very dark on arrival no one there wasn’t clear what to do, but did find sign telling us are lodge number. could of done with a welcome pack about lodge & area in lodge but apart from that perfect

Quiet stay in the woods

The lodge was warm and comfortable. There was enough room inside to move about easily.L

These lodges are looking very dated inside. The wood furniture is very dark and not in very good condition. Had to have a light on frequently.

Pleasant enough

Cabin well equipped with most of what was needed. I had to shop for a few things that were missing like kitchen roll and tin foil. There is a small shop on site but it didn't have foil. Free WiFi was added bonus and very useful. Also usb sockets in bedrooms and lounge. I booked a 4 day stay and was only given 2 dishwasher tablets and 2 tea bags, fortunately I had brought my own tea.

Bed was not very comfortable. Sofa too low and old. The kitchen cabinets were old and in need of refurbishment. The site was not responsive to messages, so I was missing information that I asked for in advance. Cabins were closer together than I would have liked, and noisy neighbours do not make for a pleasant stay.

Lovely cosy stay in a beautiful location

Lovely surroundings, clean and well kept.

Other Darwin escape sights have additional amenities such as shower gel, shampoo and conditioner etc.

Enjoyable second stay. I'll be back.

Great location. Nice country walks on the doorstep, and lots of interesting places to visit within an hour's drive or less. The cabins are very well equipped, and are fun to stay in. This was our second stay. The WiFi is free, fast, and reliable. Good oven, microwave, dishwasher. Nice big bath towels. Underfloor heating. The cabins stay very warm.

The cabins could do with net curtains. I kept the heavy drapes closed most of the time so people couldn't look in. Be aware that you need to take your own; shampoo, shower gel, face cloths, kitchen paper, and extra loo paper.

Cosy and comfortable retreat with friends

Very cosy lodge in a quiet location. Kitchen was good

It was quite warm and hard to control the thermostat. Also heads up that the kitchen comes with no basic food stuffs so bring your own salt and pepper!

Not there, but I am sure bit would have been fine. Good preparatory information was received.

My wife had a road accident just before we should travel to the venue. She was hospitalised with numerous broken bones but is now at home. I informed Tilford Woods that we could not travel. I have not informed Hoseasons as I was not insured. I do not expect any compensation but a gesture of goodwill would be appreciated. As you can imagine I had other things on my mind to occupy me at the time. We missed an important National sailing Event because of the accident and sacrificed our existing second place for a lower one in this 10 race Championship. Ian Chearman.

Nice cabins, good value

Located in beautiful countryside, with lots of nearby places of interest. Nice walk along a bridlepath from the property. Really nice cabins. Well maintained. Good facilities. Comfortable beds. Large bath. Good towels. Really good oven. Large fridge and freezer.

Lack of privacy. Most of the cabins are set out like a housing estate. Could do with net curtains. Would stay again though if the price was right. No toiletries provided - just a small bar of soap. Luckily we had taken our own.

What an amazing place and area

Tilford park was beautiful especially the Ducks on the pond the surronding area was amazing for walks and getting back to nature.

The lodge was lovely and warm, clean and provided everything we needed.

The public parking area could be better. On leaving, I needed to call in at reception but there was nowhere to park. The few "public" parking spaces were all taken.

Third time at Tilford woods and loved the quietness.

Check in was tricky, was dark reception closed and no map to show me where 22 was. The on call had their phone switched off. Found map but not in an easy place to find it at front of reception. One loo roll for two days for 4 people

beautiful homely feel

the property was exactly as it was described a very lovely place to stay we asked for a late check out by 3 hours at no extra charge will definitely be heading back for another visit

the property was very clean the only thing I could pick up on was a few cobwebs around the ceilings

Amazing weekend away - much needed break!

Clean, good looking wooden cabins. A shop for basic stuff is open 9-4.30pm Extremely well maintained property with toiletries, towels, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, good cutlery, hair dryer and a fan. Surrounded by woods - many walking trails around. Little and Great Frensham Lake within 10 mins drive. Lovely Alice Holt Forest 20mins Great stay.

So relaxing and peaceful!

The Tilford woods properties are too good for a tranquil weekend break (even longer), especially in the current (COVID-19) situation. The property is located in pretty serene woods with quite a few walking trails around. There are many good places nearby to visit with family, Alice Holt, Birdworld and even a beautiful pond (Frensham Great Pond) with a sandy beach. The cottages are well designed and placed to give you complete privacy and the peace. The property was pretty neat and clean and thoroughly sensitized. I would certainly re-visit this and also recommend to others.
