Fantastic hotel, with amazing staff. I would highly recommend
5.0
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was extremely comfortable and the food in the restaurant was excellent. I was travelling alone with two little children which can be a bit challenging. The lovely staff really helped to make it easier.
There was nothing we didn't like. It was very easy to park, check in and find our room. We had all the comforts we needed and more.
3.0
Everyone was very friendly, the hotel is easily accessible and has lots of parking.
When having a closer look, we’ve noticed that the amenities are not well maintained. The shower was not as clean as we would have liked.
4.0
The room was very comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
The bathroom was small and the shower area tiles needed cleaning.
2.5
Beds were comfortable. Bed Pillow (only one) was below medium.
The bathroom shower space was old. Cleanliness was not great. Bigger problem was the sink which could hardly be used normally (not enough space to turn around or bow your head lower.) It was an oddly narrow space. Architecture inside was uncomfortable. We don't think the Manager or owner ever use this themselves, otherwise they would change it (?)
3.5
The smallest bathroom (with toilet) I have ever seen. Tap had to be fitted on the right side of the sink, the shelf of 12 cm deep didn't hold my toilet bag. Mold between the tiles under the shower.
Room on the first floor was great. Good bed and airco, nice when it's 30 °C outside. Breakfast was also very good, fresh, eggs, bacon and everything else. We could have breakfast outside (near a road).
Bathroom! But it appeared ours was between the last to be renovated... The rooms are around a kind of square, this can be a bit noisy when people our sitting/smoking there. But not on our day.

The room and location were as expected
One member of staff has an attitude problem, maybe he does not like visitors from the UK, we were always quiet and respectfull, his attitude was very poor, we discussed this separatley with other UK guests, they all experienced his bad attitude.

We were content with the accommodation. The breakfast was adequate. The dinner was an amazing experience.
The stairs within the apartment are not for the faint hearted!
2.0
The rooms were clean and comfortable and was like the 2 times I stayed before. Can not complain about the rooms.
The first night we stayed there we went to the restaurant and asked if there was a table spare so that we could have something to eat. We were shown a table and sat down. Then we got 1 drink each and had to wait 30 minutes just to look at the menu. The service on the evening was slow and more focused on a larger group of men rather than the guests. We found one member of staff was abupt to me and my friends who were also staying there. After the meal he locked the door behind us, so that we could not get another drink from the bar. Very rude and unhelpful and I won't be staying there again as there is plenty of other hotels I stayed in which have had better service. I was disappointed in the stay here as I had being twice before and not had a bad word before. Shame.

steep winding stairs to bedroom
3.5
The two tier rooms are excellent with the bedroom being really spacious.
The restaurant was fantastic, the food was just exquisite and the staff lovely.
The bathroom left a little to be desired, it felt a bit cramped.
Having to walk all the way around the outside of the hotel to get into the bar or reception from the hotel rooms wasn't ideal.
4.5
It is a cozy and apparently busy restaurant together with accommodation on the side. Free parking, good food, excellent breakfast. The room is actually duplex, with a small living area (sofa, small table, tea, coffee, TV, ect,) and bathroom downstairs, and a bedroom located upstairs. Comfortable bed, and nice thick carpet in the bedroom, making it quiet and cozy.
Bathroom was on the small side, very small sink, ventilation too noisy and not easy to get rid of the hot water steams . A colorful carpet downstairs could make the atmosphere in the living area warmer. But overall - very good.
4.0
Wide offer at breakfast.
Nice and tasteful design, but...
Unsatisfactory sink size in the room.
You can wash your hands, and that's it. If you want to wash your face, either hit your head on the shelf or tap your feet. Or take a shower if you want to brush your teeth or wash your face.

nothing
the hotel was effectively closed as their was a staff party, and the hotel was booked as a restaurant but it was closed, heating turned off and no staff…

I can’t say anything negative about it. Perfect perfect to my satisfaction!!
Getting to the property is a bit difficult.. since there’s no public transportation to the area…
5.0
The room was great, very spacious with a separate division on the first floor to the bedroom. Definitely one of the best cooks, tasty breakfasts we ever experienced! The location is great, 10 min walking from the coast and 10min driving from The Hague.

*Great staff - all friendly and helpful. Special kudos to Stephanie.
*The continental breakfast was plentiful.
* Nice to have a split room- living room and bathroom downstairs and large bedroom upstairs.
The stairs to the upstairs bedroom were typical Dutch, steep and narrow. 😏
5.0
Excellent food, very clean and comfortable rooms. Beautiful outdoor terraces, and peaceful, quiet (and amazing) neighborhood. The Monsterse Beach is not too far away, which was awesome! Thank you for the hospitality!
The walk to the nearest bus stop (line 31) or supermarket (Jumbo in Poeldijk) is somewhat long, so you'd better use bikes or a car - especially if you have children or elderly with you.
3.5
nice location, free parking place, good breakfast
the air conditioner could only work under requirement. No one told me when it was activated. !!! It was too noisy to fall into sleep when turning it on. We had to sleep without the air conditioner in the warm night. Maybe it would be bequem in winter, but terrible in summer
3.5
The location was perfect, the staff friendly and the breakfast was plentiful with plenty of choice.
The towels were frayed.
The room had no soul, it was bare walls, grey and clinical.
My biggest criticism is the fact that there was no light switch upstairs just to light up the steps which were very steep. The use of the toilet in the night was dangerous!
4.5
good location
small menu for dinner
4.5
Breakfast, hospitality, service
4.5
Location, room, breakfast, and staff were amazing.
Just the bathroom is a bit uncomfortable for the sink (very small) and the WC which are very close to each other.
4.0
Excellent restaurant; Very good breakfast, (not too much, but quality with super nice fresh bread, good coffee)
Car parking
TV and ventilator in bathroom did not work; just minor discomfort
Split level room not highly practical in our vision
