Très bel emplacement, très bien tenu et personnel super accueillant!

A 2 min à pied de la gare. La qualité de l'accueil. La qualité (peut-être rénovation récente) et la propreté de l'hébergement. Rue tranquille. Au moins 1 (peut-être 2 ou 3) chambre avec vue partielle sur Mt Fuji!

L'isolation phonique (peut-être une vieille maison MAIS surtout le manque de respect de personnes qui sont rentrées après le couvre-feu (23h) et qui ont fait beaucoup de bruit jusqu'à minuit au moins.

A great time place to stay

We loved the close proximity to the to the train and bus station. Our room was cosy and warm and the Futon were comfortable.The toilets were shared but just outside the room.Showers were downstairs.The public kitchen and lounge room was well equipped. Close to Lawsons and 711 which makes self catering easy.Our room 202 had a view of Mt Fuji!! We would love to stay again. Special mention to staff member Shoki who was very friendly and helpful.

Fabulous location. Great Guesthouse.

The OC Guesthouse was in a fabulous location, easy walking distance to the station and a number of Lawson and 7Eleven mini marts, as well as souvenir shops. The shared common areas such as the bathrooms, showers, kitchen and laundry facilities were clean and well signposted in English as well as Japanese. Rooms were basic but well equipped and quiet, despite being in a guesthouse configuration.

I feel good and would book the hotel again

The hotel is so peaceful and you feel so relaxed when you come back from mountain climbing and cycling activities. Special thanks to the duty Manager for excellent assistance.

I highly recommended to stay here if you’re visiting kawaguchiko.

The guesthouse is close to the train station. The staff are very nice. The facility is clean and cozy. You can rent a bike and bike around lake kawaguchiko.

Staying here is recommended.

The staff was very nice. We arrived before check-in time so our luggage was brought in our room by the staff while we could go discovering Kawaguchiko. The room was clean and the futons were comfortable.

Not bad but not so good

Very convenient location, fully-equipped kitchen, clean, friendly staff (even if they don’t speak English and didn’t really have recommendations of things to do around)

The bicycles they provide (not for free) are absolutely terrible. I think they are originally electrical bicycles but the electrical battery has been removed so the bicycle does not move even on a flat road. I strongly recommend to rent with another shop. Also you cannot get the bicycle at earlier than 9am. I booked a twin room for myself, it was a bunk bed and unfortunately they had only prepared the upper bed so I had to sleep on the upper bed which is very inconvenient (especially as I was used to sleep in dormitories and I was looking forward very much for having some comfort with this room). Also there was only a very tiny window in the room with the bed stuck to it so I didn’t have natural light in the room. I found the price expensive for this room.

Clean and practical guest house in a great location, with exceptional staff

Fantastic little guesthouse, the person on reception could not have been more welcoming or helpful, sorting everything from luggage storage, to drying our shoes (after some torrential rain) to bike rental. Couldn't recommend highly enough. The room was clean, spacious and practical for what we needed, the kitchen was well equipped and large enough for all guests.

Excellent stay!

The guesthouse is merely 5 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko station which is really convenient. The room was spotless during my stay and it was quite spacious. Convenient stores like 7E and Lawson were also very near. I will definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Japan!

Superb

For a hostel, it’s remarkably well equipped. The room had a humidifier, toothbrush and towel provided. The toilets were clean and well maintained. We chose the tatami room, which was bigger than some of the hotels in Tokyo. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay.

Peace, quiet and comfort

It was great to be able to rent a bike at Orange Cabin for 1100 yen for the whole day. Plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower. Everything was very clean, organized and very quiet. They have this cool electric luggage lift that carries heavy bags upstairs and brings them down when you check out, via something like a miniature elevator shaft. My personal needs were responded to politely and in a very timely way, including getting me a thinner pillow for my neck. Less than a 5-minute walk from the train station.

No coffee, tea or sugar.

Superb

Very close to attractions and shops, less than a 15 minute walk to Lake Kawaguchiko. Room was excellent and the futon was very warm and comfortable. Staff were all friendly and accommodating.

rooms are not the most soundproof but it didn't bother me too much.

Superb

Great location, very near to Kawaguchiko station and convenient stores, restaurants. Very clean and nice facilities/amenities! Each floor has shared rest rooms. It's a very comfortable place to stay, feels like home.
