Perfect, was a bit sceptical that we had to walk there and it wasn’t at the hotel itself, but we found that it worked very good and we ate a wonderful breakfast every day of the stay. You dont choose your own like a buffet, but that too was fine and it was enough for each of us. The breakfast might look small when it gets served, but we stayed full for hours. All in all very good.
We were not the biggest fans of the beds in the loft. I slept in the double bed in the loft, and had an issue with “falling” between the two mattresses, something that was pretty annoying. This might not be a problem if there had been two people in the bed, but for a single person trying to enjoy the space, it was annoying. The air conditioning was also LOUD, and in hindsight we should have used the air plugs provided. This was in issue for me in the loft and my parents downstairs. It’s important to point out that we barely used the air conditioner, but as soon as anyone else in the small hotel used theirs, it was like living on an airport.

This boutique hotel is an amazing way to enjoy the Chania harbor and look out across all the hustle and bustle of the harbor charm from the privacy of the awesome upper window. staff made wonderful dinner reservations for us too. there are quite a few stairs to the rooms with no railing so just be aware of that if you have difficulty with your knees. completely manageable though, and the staff helps with luggage.
a lovely bottle of wine and mini bottle of champagne await you at the top!

The location is absolutely perfect and the outdoor patio is stunning. It’s beautiful in the pictures but even more spectacular in real life. The staff were outstanding. So helpful and warm.
It’s an amazing property.
There was nothing to dislike.

The location of the property is the best. Right at the port infront of the lighthouse in the middle of old town. The room was very beautiful and the staff was great and hospitable. The room was huge and the indoor plunge pool was great. We really enjoyed our stay. We loved our stay and would recommend the property for couples wanting to have a good time in Chania.
The jet for the plunge pool was not working 2 out of 3 days of our stay. The bathroom light works with a sensor and the bathroom door is translucent. It resulted in the light turning on anytime there was a movement in the room and illuminating the whole room even in middle of the night. On contrast if you spend more than 5 mins in the bathroom, you will have to wave to hands to switch on the light again. This was very frustrating.

Fabulous location, very friendly and attentive staff, absolutely beautiful room, comfy bed.
The showers needed a little maintenance- both doors leaked and the rain shower didn’t work. Shower shelf needed screwing in to wall as hanging off!

Best location on the harbor!
lots of stairs to our room. However, the staff was very helpful and carried our luggage to and from our room.

An incredible hotel situated in the heart of the old town of Chania, Crete. The suites have the most beautiful panoramic view of the port and the lighthouse. They are spacey and have everything a visitor could ask for, during his accommodation.
We definitely recommend this hotel and we will stay there again.
Truly the best hotel in the old city with the best view!

Excellent hotel the suite we stayed in had a heated plunge pool . The design of the suite was excellent obviously a lot of thought had gone into that . The fantastic breakfast was outsourced just a short walk in the morning and was simply fantastic. The two young ladies on the reception that we met were both extremely helpful as well as being exceptionally beautiful .Probably the best hotel suite we have stayed in for quality, cleanliness and attention to detail.

There is nothing not to like about Residenza Vranas. The room, location, staff, breakfast, view…everything far exceeded our expectations. Would book here again without question!
Absolutely nothing! It’s truly spectacular.

Extraordinary friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location in the old Venetian harbour. Good breakfast
Just minor things: bathroom lighting went on automatically at night when using the bathroom and disturbing the partner. Second bathroom should have a bathtub instead of just another shower. But this is complaining on high level!!!

The breakfast was delicious, well prepared each morning. They even put together a to-go breakfast one morning when we left early to drive west to the bigger beaches.
The views of the harbor during sunset were phenomenal. And the staff had great recommendations for dinner locations around the harbor!
The bed was a little hot, but that’s a highly personal preference.

The location is amazing. Overlooking one of the most beautiful spots in all of Greece - the Chania Venetian Harbor. The breakfast was perfect, as was the room and the helpful staff.
The staff made sure we were happy and recommended a great restaurant. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and the beds (and the entire room) was great and greatly appreciated. The welcome gift(s) in the room, dessert, and a bottle of wine was wonderful.
The room was incredibly quiet and easy to relax in, not to mention spacious. This is one of the great hotels not only of Greece but the world. Highly recommended without any hesitation.
Finding the property was difficult, mainly because Google Maps misled us to think we could drive there. Parking is difficult. None of this is the fault of the property and had I picked up the phone call from the hotel offering to help us find a place to park that would have helped. There were no other negatives at all to this property or location.

Our family of 5 stayed in the penthouse unit with a large rooftop deck overlooking the Venetian Harbor. This hotel is centrally located in the old town, surrounded by endless shops and good restaurants, and you can't get a better, central view of the harbor :) The unit itself was beautiful, very spacious and well appointed. The included breakfast was plentiful with a great selection of eggs, salad, breads, meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed juice, and coffee. Additionally, they brought us delicious pastries and treats the first and last days of our stay. The staff was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations, booking tours for us, helping us with our luggage, etc. Angelina was especially lovely and attended to all our questions and needs. Overall, we had a great experience staying at this hotel in Chania.
The only thing I didn't like was walking up 4 flights of stairs to get to our unit, but IMO, that's a small price to pay to stay in the penthouse unit.
