Schönes privates Hotel in absoluter Traumlage

Die Lage direkt am Stand ist phänomenal. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir hatten bei der Buchung die günstigste Kategorie gewählt und das Zimmer war auch sehr klein - aber alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Bei einen nächsten Besuch in Faro werden wir mit Sicherheit wieder hier übernachten und dann ein bisschen größeres Zimmer buchen. Das Frühstück und Essen sind sehr lecker, die Rooftop-Bar läd zum Verweilen mit Blick auf das Meer. ein.

Ideale tussenstop nabij de luchthaven. Heel mooi en aangenaam strand.

Heel vriendelijk onthaald door een jonge dame, die tijd nog moeite spaarde om ons rond te leiden. Aangenaam vertoeven op de rooftop bar met uitzicht op het mooie uitgestrekt strand. Je stapt uit het hotel onmiddellijk op het strand. Heel snelle en vlotte verbinding naar de luchthaven. Niettegenstaande de nabijheid van de luchthaven, heb je geen last van lawaai. Speciale locatie op een schiereiland vlakbij natuurreservaat.

Frühstück mit Meerblick

Super Lage direkt am Strand. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit:) Sie gaben sehr viel Information und Tipps. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich.

Die Lage des Zimmers war unten, direkt vor dem Fenster waren Liegen die jeder benutzen konnte. Wer am Strand am Hotel vorbei ging konnte ins Zimmer schauen. Da wir kaum im Zimmer waren hat es nicht gestört.

Satisfactory except for the room assigned.

The service was excellent, the staff were very attentive and kind. The rooftop bar & restaurant excellent and the location right on the beach was great.

It was a bit expensive for what one finally got if you consider the room assigned for €214 a night including breakfast (room number 4, El Castello). The room was small to medium sized, the safety deposit box in the room was a joke (it was small, operable with a key not a code and was removeable - it's mobile, not fixed to any surface) and the bathroom needs renewing as is old and getting tatty on the edges. The worst thing of all were the cockroaches that appeared each morning in the bathroom!!! The place needs fumigating urgently.... The bad part was the room, the bathroom and the cocroaches and lousy safety deposit box, the service was outstanding.

would not reccomend the room we were in(ground floor partial sea view)

first room bed hard and directly outside window sunbeds where people were talking and smoking so all the noise and smoke came straightin.got moved into another room(owners room) bed more comfortable but window openeed onto corridor so when in room you hear everyone walking to there room and everyone can hear you .. other rooms might be ok but very poor experience for us would have scored less but staff were lovely

We loved our stay here and would definitely be back.

The location of the property was perfect. The views from breakfast were great and the staff were friendly.

There was some damage and wear on the furniture and the quality of furnishings in the room was quite poor. The hotel was clean but this was not to a high standard with some attention required to finer details of cleaning. One other downside was the lack of privacy with sunbeds right outside the room window.

A friendly home from home on the most wonderful beach

This friendly comfortable centrally located guest house is such a find. We first stayed there five years ago, before the pandemic. When checking in, not only did they remember us, they even remembered our room number! Outstanding service from a tightly run family of friendly staff. No request is too much. Highly recommended.

Great location, very friendly and helpful check in. Breakfast was good. Bath was a treat!

Took forever to order drink and snack at rooftop bar, despite two staff and almost no guests. Room quite tight but bathroom massive. Pretty sure we had a Ria view room … but were right on the road. Not horrible, just not as expected.

The hotel's personnel was highly knowledgeable, welcoming, and helpful. They never fail to smile and greet us. Fantastic breakfasts were served. The hotel's location is excellent. The accommodation had a great view, was extremely roomy, and was properly furnished with all the necessities. I have no qualms about suggesting this accommodation to travellers who want to visit Faro.

Beautiful place to stay, highly recommended!

Incredible location, right on Praia de Faro. The breakfast was fantastic, beautiful coffee, and being able to eat outside overlooking the beach was a bonus. Staff were absolutely exceptional throughout, nothing was too much trouble, genuinely nice people, and they were happy to offer recommendations for local sightseeing and to book boat trips etc. Roof top hot tub provided some much needed January warmth under the stars!

Room was a little small and was right off the reception area so there was some noise disturbance at night, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.

Breakfast = disaster.... few salami with cold eggs and bacon with terrible coffee Kind of 4 star hotel and you are forced to stay in the basement with mouldy curtains and broken furniture, just terrible. No good restaurants around just a few poor quality eateries If you decide to stay there just rent a car and go somewhere else where you can feel real Portugal

You can't beat the location of Golden Beach Guesthouse right on the beach.

I liked the fact that Golden Beach Guesthouse was right on the beach. The location was amazing. The staff were very friendly. They helped us take our bags up to our room when we arrived and provided us with a city map and bus schedule.

Housekeeping was poor. We arrived and there were no toiletries in our bathroom. I used a glass and housekeeping didn't replace it with a clean one. We had to ask for toilet paper since housekeeping didn't give us a spare roll. The bathroom door didn't fit properly and scraped the floor making it hard to open and close.

i loved the view and staff. it was super clean and i enjoyed the food as well.

my room was next to the kitchen so sleeping some days wasn’t easy, staff was preparing early and finishing late every day.
