Very good

High up with views, in a nice village and close to Plaka

No Signs for Morteas Hotel was not sure I had correct place, but sorted with a phone call.

good location

didn’t get anything at property. no toaster, no shampoos etc no butter or oil or salt and pepper. the walls were so thin i could hear people getting it on.

Superb

Amazing water views and perfect location just outside of Plaka. Only a 10 minute walk into the old town but it’s located in a local street, so nice and quiet. Big rooms.

No shower curtain, so the toilet gets wet

Cute place for a cheap price

The room had a beautiful view and a very basic kitchenette (which was a surprise) was sorta in the middle of the main towns of the island which made walking places easy

The staff didn’t really say anything or have any helpful suggestions

Pleasant

The location and the balcony are great. The family who clean the rooms are very nice and helpful But we could not enjoy our stay as much as we would have liked

There was a problem with the booking and we could only stay one night in the hotel. The owner proposed another place for the first night but the communication wasn't fluid we had to wait a lot before getting to the remplacement room (which was ok but worse and further than Morfeas hotel). About Morfeas hotel, a shower curtain would be necessary to avoid water all over the bathroom (even being careful it is impossible to avoid floods)

No running water in the room. Wifi was inoperable. Hotel staff unavailable and/or unresponsive.

Beautiful place & great location

The room is simple and comfortable, we liked so much our room at the top of the structure with nice balcony and view! The location is great because it's in a quiet place at just 5 minutes walk from the center of Plaka (very popular and nice at night).

Good location close to Plaka. The balcony and views were nice.

Difficult to find as the only sign is old and small. No explanation when welcomed, no answer to previous email neither.

An average stay near Plaka, Milos

This hotel is placed somewhere between the villages of Plaka and Tripiti. The building itself looks very nice and offers basic accommodation with WiFi. I had a similar experience at this place as I had at other islands I have stayed at in the Cyclades. This was the only place where they offered at least some bottled water as something extra. The place was cleaned daily. The price was good compared to the other places on the island.

There was nobody at the reception when I arrived during normal check-in time. I have eventually called their number and they have sent a lady unable to speak English, showing me to my room. As elsewhere in the Cyclades, the place would need an update, the furniture, door from my room, etc looked rather old. I didn't like that there are no shops around at all and it is difficult to travel back to the port town without an own car as buses are rare and taxis very overpriced (they ask 4 times more money than in Athens). I think that there were other rooms free during my visit but they put me into a room with no windows and no view. WiFi could be more stable.
