Nice, well run hotel. Easy check in. Access to the lake. Wide pier.
We had a kitchenete in our room, but.... nothing is provided. Unable to use it.
Breakfast is not included. You can order in the restaurant and pay extra. Since the hotel price is on upscale level- I would prefer not to be charged extra. But after Mexico trip I see it to be common practice.

Location
No fresh water options. Fail. No customer service after 930pm. Fail. Combined double fail.
The worst of human needs.
It's Mexico, I can excuse the no cup, no plate, no cutlery, no kettle, no microwave, no coffee or coffee in restaurant, seriously, and no means of even boiling water or getting access to clean water / agua at all, it's a monumental fail!!!!!!!!!

Hands down this is the best hotel on the island! Better than some of the most expensive ones around! It has the most beautiful deck onto the lagoon. The staff is incredibly polite and very accommodating! The views from the terrace (with the tiny swimming pool) at the top of one of the buildings and the jacuzzi terrace in another one of the buildings are simply breathtaking! An absolutely incredible experience!
The food takes a bit longer than usual to prepare. But I know they were at full capacity when we were there!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The architecture and location of the hotel was exceptional. The hotel was located in a quiet area of the lagoon; away from the touristic center of the town. Perfect for a relaxing time.

The location was ideal - on private property but an easy taxi or car ride to the the town of Bacalar. The facilities are lovely - ideal for a peaceful getaway on beautiful Bacalar. The staff were discrete and very helpful. It was a wonderful stay and we will definitely return
I was completely satisfied with my stay.

This hotel is really beautiful. They haven't overdeveloped the land so you have a feeling of being amongst nature which is very appealing to me.
Rooms were a little tired, could do with renovation compared to other aspects of the hotel. Had some issue with air con, the jetty was being stained so half of the loungers were not available to use which is pretty impactful as they use the lagoon front as a selling point. Our party had to split up to be able to each have somewhere to sit which wasn't great. Not enough shaded areas, the parts that were designated for shade had wide slate structures that didn't provide adequate shade.

Very quiet. Nice view. Lake was lovely. Dinner was very good.
The rooms were lacking some amenities like kitchen utilities. Coffee maker.

Nothing to like here.
No security in place. No contact numbers to request help or assistance when needed. No door lock on building entrance so anyone can enter to your room at anytime.

The staff was friendly and trying to help bit he actually couldn't do anything.
Food in the restaurant was quite good.
Kayaks were good.
Everything is old and very used. Bed linen with holes, grey timeworn towels with spots, moldish and broken lamp, stove that doesn't work, peeling cabinets - that's the vibe of the place.
Don't be confused with rooftop jacuzzi and rest area - it looks abandoned, dirty, cluttered with old stuff and you don't want to spend time there.
If you want to take a SUP that is included you should take your own paddle somewhere because their 4 paddles out of 4 are broken, and 2 board out of 4 are deflated.

Beautiful view, well located in nature
expensive restaurant, food and drinks, rather expensive, lack of attention to detail like dirty serviettes, do not provide bread or tortillas with breakfast. Poor service as it is run by very young staff, there is no beach towels.

The Food was some of the best I have had in Mexico. The chef makes amazing dishes. Don't miss the catch of the day!

Beautiful apartments in the middle of a jungle forest, calm and peaceful place. Despite the hotel being almost full, we barely saw any other guests.
There is the kitchenette in the apartment including a fridge and a stovetop, but no utensils so you can not cook nor eat (there is even no plates / cutlery). We really didn’t get an idea of why a kitchenette is there at all if you can’t use it. Given the place is quite remote and there is only one expensive restaurant on the ground, we see it as a missed opportunity to create a perfect place for extended stay.

Everything was beautiful, staff was very nice & friendly. We arrived early and they where nice enough to hold our luggage while we explored and once it was time to check in they left all our luggage in our room. They also helped us book a tour and helped with taxis. definitely recommend! Thank you ! :)

Location and the fantastic view of the lagoon. Free material for SUP and canoying. The employees were very nice. Dinner was very good and tasty.
Towels with holes. They send me a message through whatsapp, booking and e-mail to do the check-out, 24 hours before the departure (kinda stalking). Perhaps it would be nicer to ask if we would like to extend our stay. Breakfast and lunch were eatable. Doesn't have cushions on the exterior chairs.

excellent location in lagoon front and. close to town. Everything was modern but with still a rustic look

We liked the cleanliness, location, convenience and concept.
we didn’t like that our room was a little small.

Great location on lagoon shore.
There was limited facilities and customer service was underwhelming. There was no fridge, mini bar or drinks making facilities in the room meaning the water of unknown quailty left (so we did not drink) in a jug was warm and you were forced to use room service to get anything to drink. Room service could not provide coffee with breakfast for 1 day of our 2 day stay. Staff were not very welcoming on arrival, no information about the local area was provided and limited information on hotel facilities provided. The bill had to be corrected 4 times.

Jungle, natural setting, the lagoon is exceptional, exquisite food, the hosts made us feel at home
