Major cleanliness issues

Location was ok

Very fousty smell on entering and very dark. We opened windows immediately and back door to try and let air through. Realised there was no electric to sockets and fridge was off and not cold. Owner said there had been a power cut and was back on but we found the trip switch needed putting back on which we did. Fridge still didn't work and then found plug hanging out of socket. The kettle had water in it and 2 flies, also food splashes on it. Cupboards were sticky and greasy and crockery in it was dirty also and more flies. The shower looked dreadful and you could see congealed hair over the plug hole. We didn't use it tho would have had it been clean. Bedding didn't smell nice and I wasn't sure it had been washed. Used clothes to cover pillows and stayed dressed to sleep. We thought it was 3 bedrooms but one was a sofa bed in living area which we didn't even consider opening out in view of other cleanliness issues. Didn't shower, undress for bed, cook ..... couldn't wait to leave, thankful it was just 1 night

Exceptional

The location was central to town and with its own carport. The beds are exceptionally comfortable.with nice linen. The kitchen has the bare essentials.

The kitchen could do with a better selection of frying pans.

Overall a great place to stay if you are looking for a more homely experience

Great location everything just a short driving distance away free wifi which is great

Showers were cut short due to the lack of hot water had to time my showers

Near the city a useful stopover

Place was clean and did the job. When we were a towel short they quickly organised the extra one.

We had an extra person with us and had paid in advance for this, but were asked for it again as we left, which was annoying as I had to find evidence. I had sent them a receipt for the payment a few weeks ago but they couldn't find it.. Parking was tight for a big 4WD

The property was close to town, access was easy and the area was fairly quiet.

Spacious accommodation, had everything that you needed.

Comfortable & good value for money if you stay inside & the neighbours choose to behave themselves

The unit was clean and quite spacious and had everything we needed. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Sheets and towels were clean and decent quality. There were fans in the bedrooms. Communication was good. Wi-fi was good. Netflix was appreciated. Fine for a night or two if you are traveling through and have a car.

The neighbourhood and the apartment complex are both a bit depressing and dodgy. We felt a bit uneasy staying there, though to be fair, no-one actually bothered us. It's a fishbowl, with all the units looking at each other/ at the shared driveway (main brm window also looks onto the shared driveway/ other units). An older guy diagonally opposite us sat in his carport drinking most of the afternoon/ evening. The family directly opposite were using some colourful language as they were putting the kids in the car to go out. The courtyard at the back has a fence but is on a slope, so you are looking directly at people on the street and into the townhouses opposite. Lots of locks and bolts on the doors & windows, so I suppose it's safe (though their presence suggests they are needed). Decor is dated and the place smells and feels a little bit like a nursing home, but that was no biggie really.

Near beaches

Barking dog in the morning. Missing sink plug in shower room. Toilet away from bedrooms. Could do with another toilet in shower room but I know it would be difficult to do. Cooker old fashioned. Could do with a hand basin in toilet. Re plumb laundary room sink so both taps are in action with clothes washing machine plumbed in on separate tap.

The unit was great, it had everything and more.

Other people living in the other units had dogs that barked all hours and the owners shouting at them to be quiet.

Our stay was very comfortable and if travelling with my mum again I would consider it again.

It was all on the ground floor and parking under cover. Nice little backyard with table and chairs. Lovely massive shower and toilet was separate from the bathroom. Had its own laundry which is rare.

Just a couple of maintenance issues with the shower hot and cold buttons falling off but it was a major problem. Some of the wine glasses were cracked but once again not really a problem.

not much as it was a holiday unit but it was actually a red brick unit in a block of flats

no smoke detectors, multiple power boards piggy backed from the one power point
