Great location, no soundproofing at all. The gap shown in the picture which runs around the entire room is for soundproo

Very central location, and easy to get to the restaurants, seafront and public transport centers. The receptionists, and particularly Betty, were so pleasant and and so nice.

Absolute no soundproofing between rooms, although the rooms had provision for it, it was never installed. Consequently one can hear absolutely everything from above, and to each side of the room. Even your neighbours going to the toilet. Bathroom was very basic and getting in and out of the slippery bath was very difficult due to nothing to hold on to.

Insects in the bed

The staff was great and nice.

There was insects in the bed and dirty shower! Percevejo insects biting from the bed, really terrible!

The location is great and the stuff

The room was very small, there were no sockets next to the bed, only one socket in the room, the mattress were not that clean, some hair was on the pillow, also there were no soap for hands in the toilet

I wholeheartedly warn you against the alamo hotel. Stay away. the hotel charged me twice due to incorrect operation of the payment terminal by the person at the reception. when I tried to get my money back by contacting the hotel, they asked me for full card numbers, which do not belong to me. I don't know where they got those numbers and who they belong to. seeing that the hotel is not willing to refund the unduly charged fee, I turned to booking.com for help. I am waiting for a refund, but in correspondence with booking I see that the hotel still insists on not my card number. I don't know why is alamo doing this. I waited a long time with this opinion, hoping for a proper behavior of the hotel staff but I’m totally disappointed. the hotel doesn't even deserve a star rating.

Good, adequate accomodation

Fantastic location for shopping, bars, sight seeing, restaurants, harbour. Public car park right behind hotel about 15 euros for 24 hours.

Room was a bit dated and sower was in bathtub with a shower curtain, not the best

Comfortable room and good location, but loud

Well located in Alicante. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning.

Unfortunately even with being on the fourth floor and having all the windows and blinds closed, the noise from the street (loud, drunk tourists) woke and kept us up during the night. This was on the weekend, hopefully during the week it’s more calm.

Amazing experience

Location, cleanliness and facilities are awesome. The staff is amazing. I have met three lovely ladies at the reception during my stay that I can’t explain enough how knowledgeable and professional they are.

AMAZING Staff & Great Location

I came with my baby (under 1 year) and was hoping that the hotel would have an elevator… which it did but it was extremely small and my stroller wouldn’t fit. The ladies at the desk were SO accommodating they helped me carry the stroller up the stairs, and when that got to be too much they stored it on the first floor for me. They were so thoughtful and I would stay here again just based on the staff. The room is a bit outdated but you can tell they put in a lot of effort to keep it clean! Location wise you are within walking distance of everything you need. It’s a good spot for the price.

A perfect port in a storm after a really bad day of cancelled flights

Friendly, helpful staff - even with a 1am arrival after a flight cancellation. She immediately booked taxi to take us back to the airport the next morning. Her colleague the next day was equally pleasant and helpful, providing itemised receipts so we could reclaim from the airline.

The room was a little tired and the walls very thin!

Hotel Alamo has a very warm welcome, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great. It is very close to everything you need in central Alicante. Close to the beach and restaurants and more.

The rooms needs an upgrade and are a bit tired.

Superb

Location is fantastic and they take pets. Simple but charming, clean, quiet.

This time the room was a bit spartan and cold. 10 euros for one dog per night is a bit much too.
