The breakfast was spectacular, and the wellness centre available free of charge was a bonus!
It would have been nice to have a second set of towels to use in the wellness centre.

Beautiful location
There was no air conditioning in the room, and the night noises were so loud right outside the window it was hard to sleep.

A piece of heaven!

Cigarettes smell everywhere, even in "non smoking" rooms and restaurant.
We got a single room instead of a double room. No kids bed, although promised by the hotel.

The breakfast was great, the location too.
The mould in the shower,
The worn-out mattresses and the unbelievable thick pillows.

Location is great, lovely views & ample parking. Wonderful breakfast. Staff were professional.
No Airconditioner in our room but they had record breaking heat so understandable. Be aware that sunbathing in the buff or nude is allowed!

This was a perfect idyll for us & we stayed as long as we could on our check out day before travelling to our next destination. We stayed ~30 hours & had all 3 meals there. The room itself was nice. We had one of the newly renovated modern ones & it was very well made. I could see the evidence of ongoing renovation work & incomplete areas mentioned by some other reviews in the preceding weeks and several parts were in progress, but the pace must be quick because we had no interruptions or problems caused by the work at all. It was easy to enjoy ourselves with the construction happening elsewhere. The garden is an incredible lifetime's work that gets sunshine all day & the hotel is effectively on a private lake. We learned unexpectedly that the sunbathing is nude (FKK), which should be made more apparent on Booking.com but we saw a small minority with clothes & people generally limited conversation to people they knew. It was very relaxing with a friendly atmosphere, with plenty of space for all guests; local regulars as well as hotel guests. Hourly sauna aufguss (incense aromatics) in daytime was a highlight. Food at the restaurant was excellent, but note that food orders should be done by 8pm, as kitchen closes at 9pm even though restaurant closes at 10pm. Breakfast was plenty. It was a bit basic compared with some other places we stayed, but satisfying. Family run with longstanding staff makes for a personal touch & they're rightly proud of the place.
The lake isn't ideal for swimming, as there's lots of plants (reeds of some sort, or algae) that tended to clog up the water. But many people went for a quick dip to cool down & there was also rakes to clear the water. On the other hand, the free paddleboards (if you can find a paddle) made relaxing more chilled than worrying about hire times. The beds themselves were with soft mattresses, which may not be for some but we slept well.

Nice view on the lake and nice restaurant.
Nice service.
We had a bad luck. We booked this stay on base of good opinons but there was a renovation work and we got rooms right next to this part. Dust got inside the rooms and floor was dirty. We also had a problem with water pressure.

Uncomfy huge pillows, no aircon, quite old bathroom, not much to do for people who don't like sauna/nudist beach

The breakfast offered a lot of choice and was truly great. The location is just perfect. Next to a lake and in the town but it feels like being in nature. The room is luxurious.

The views to the lake and to the surrounding mountains extraordinary.
Add to this some all day sun and a bit of mist in the morning and you got a perfect recipe for a wonderful vacation.
There are mountains wherever you look from the hotel - the rest is limited by your imagination and 💰 :) (and covid :( )
The host was friendly and always willing to help. She allowed me the flexibility to book the same room the next day a few times.
Would've been perfect if the sauna and stuff were working.
Breakfast options could be more diversified.
No sauna, no massage, no any other facility.
No direct access to the lake, although the views were breathtaking.
I understand that all the limitations were because of the covid stuff.
