Central location, with many restaurants close by. Hotel has it's own coffee shop below.
Bed was reasonably comfortable and room size ok for price paid.
Good for someone that only needs badic placd to sleep
Note there are stairs (50 to floor 2) but staff assisted with luggage
Bathroom was so tiny, basically stepped from shower with no room to dry off as hand basin was in way.
Room in need of refurbishment.
No fridge in room

Staff were lovely, place is nicely kept, breakfast was good. Very central location, with parking as outlined nearby.
AC had only one setting which meant it was great initially to cool the room but then got way too cold and it couldn’t be changed.

Location, price, everything. Many thanks to Cuneyt, Jimmy, their dad and everyone who made us feel at home.
No lift so it could be a problem for people with mobility problems

Most lovely breakfast, so good and comforting; prepared in the cutest lil kitchen. Staff was wonderful and friendly. View was amaaaazing. We were in/out in a day but it was enough to know I would stay there again!
Blankets could have been softer. :)

Very nice breakfast. Great location in the centre of town with plenty of bars and restaurants all around. Helpful, friendly staff.
There are a lot of stairs to get to the rooms and no lift. We were on the third floor and it put us off from going in and out of the rooms.

Hotel muy bien ubicado para visitar Éfeso.
El hotel es antiguo. El baño era muy pequeño y el lavabo apenas tenía espacio para lavarte la cara o los dientes, y había muchas manchas de humedad.

Breakfast was amazing and staff were very nice
The view from our room was spectacular! We could see the Ayasuluk Castle!
It's a walk up so that was exhausting and difficult for my parents.
The rooms are TINY. The bathroom is super small however the shower size is good.

Urkmez Hotel is a genuinely welcoming hotel. We are a big family (two adults and four children) and we felt very comfortable and well looked after). The hotel also is in an excellent location.
Nothing.

Excellent location, really steps from the train station, and so close to the bus station, Ephesus Museum, Ephesus archaeological site, and restaurants in town. The staff are pretty great- helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the wifi worked well. It was pretty clean. The nicest room was the spacious dining area on the 1st floor. I also really liked that the hotel doubled as a cafe because all day long we were able to order ice cold drinks including frappes and iced lattes. Breakfast was really nice - the tomatoes and watermelon were juicy and flavorful. Aircon worked great.
Room was a bit snug, hard to move around. No lift, so people with mobility impairments will have trouble. The facilities overall could use a bit more of an update, but given its location in Selcuk, it's not that bad - just don't expect a pool and lift.

No safe in one of the rooms but could use the other one in the other room :)

Location was very good, close to restaurants and the museum. Ephesus only about 4km away. Breakfast was good and the host friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
Parking was not close and road in front of hotel was pedestrian only, making it a little difficult to find in a car.
Room was a little on the small size

Great value for money and the location is perfect with easy walking to the sights and to the bus station. The owners were terrific helping us sort out a few travel plans. A great breakfast is provided as well. It was also good to have a balcony.

The location is probably the best in the town, especially if you come by train. Everything is in 3-5 min walking: the train station, restaurants, bus station, museum - except Ephesus itself, as it is outside the town. But you can walk to Ephesus as well, it took me 40 minutes to the lower entrance gate.
The hotel is basic, rooms are small but efficient for 1-2 nights stay. I asked for a kettle and the staff promptly brought it to my room. The air conditioner has heating mode, it was adequate for the weather in January. My room had a small balcony with chairs and a nice fortress view, but the downside is that the balcony also accommodates two air conditioner outdoor units, mine and neighbor's. These are a bit noisy; otherwise, the surroundings are quiet in night.
The breakfast is simple but is ok. You get fried eggs and some stuff on the side. They also provide filtered coffee, which is a rare option in Turkey's hotels.
WiFi is slow - I could not achieve smooth Youtube viewing.

stuff very friendly and help you with all they can! breakfast was served in portion (not as buffet) which even made me feel uncomfortable to be that much served. it was obviously very delicious. has open kitchen like hostels (common living room + kitchen area. very cozy. location was great, with nice restaurants and souvenirs shop close by. room and bedding was clean. something special to mention is that the room (toilet) offers liquide soap (branded the French Marseilles), which was the only one in our whole trip in Turkey among other better hotels.
it’s not really much to complain knowing that we didn’t pay the price for a 4 star hotel. the building is a bit old and facilities in the room and toilets were a bit old, too.

Pleasant room
Excellent location
Delicious, freshly cooked breakfast
Bedrooms dangerous for small children (and anyone inebriated)

Breakfast was excellent, all good quality and fresh produce. Everyone very helpful and friendly. Location perfect for train and bus. Bed very comfortable
Most people staying were overnight or just a few days, but I was there for twelve nights and to keep the cost down, being a solo traveler, I just booked a basic room . I regret not upgrading for a room with balcony which would have been much more adequate
