Wir waren im Zeitraum von 18.09. bis 03.10.2024 in der Unterkunft. Ein Transfer vom und zum Flughafen konnte für 100 € über Giuseppe, den Besitzer, organisiert werden. Die Unterkunft verfügte über einen großen Garten mit Liegestühlen, Sitzbereichen und einen Pool. Unsere Suite verfügte über zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Fernseher mit Streamingmöglichkeiten, eine große Badewanne und zwei Balkone. Das Frühstück war typisch italienisch mit süßen Stückchen, Croissants, bedarfsweise belegtes Toast und frisches Obst. Die Besitzer Giuseppe und Anatolia hatten am ersten Abend für uns vegetarisch/vegan gekocht (Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Dessert sowie je zwei Weine) für jeweils 30 € pP. Die Bushaltestelle ist ca. sieben Minuten zu Fuß von der Unterkunft entfernt und der Bus 98 fährt für 1,5 € in ca. 25 Min in die City (Paola). Die Unterkunft war wunderbar entspannend, die Besitzer waren sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Große Empfehlung und vielen Dank an Giuseppe und Anatolia.

Giuseppe and Antonia really made our experience very special. We were picked up by Giuseppe from the airport after arriving quite late from a 22 hour flight and he spoke very good English and was so kind and friendly immediately. Antonia also greeted us and our children with a warm hug. We felt very welcome! The pool was perfect and our kids had a ball! Giuseppe even arranged taxis for us as well and nothing was too difficult. We loved that there weren’t too many guests as well so it felt very private. It was a short 20 min taxi or bus into Rome which we also liked as Rome is very busy this time of year. There’s a supermarket and amazing delicatessen serving Pizza just around the corner also and some good restaurants within walking distance. This was our first stay in a 5 week trip around Italy and Greece and it is one that we will definitely remember! Thankyou Giuseppe and Antonia, you are beautiful people! Xx
Honestly nothing! There is no kitchen in the rooms but we were aware of this when we booked so it wasn’t a problem. There was a small bar fridge in the room that we used though which was very handy. The only small suggestion I could make would be to have some wine glasses or other glasses in the room… though that’s not very important as we just asked Giuseppe for some and he was more than happy to provide some. He even brought us a delicious little Italian appetizer with it too.

This B&B was simply amazing. Both of the owners were about as hospitable as you could have asked for. The location was perfect and was just a short 20 minute bus ride to the city center. The rooms were spotless and cleaned/reset everyday. Not only was everything perfect, the owners helped to make sure it was perfect. They checked in often and met us at breakfast everyday. Breakfast is a simple yet traditional Italian breakfast. Do not come here expecting eggs and bacon every morning, but know that you will have the best fresh coffee, pastries, yogurts and more at your service. If you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Rome, this is the place for you! We are already planning on coming back, and we know we are going to stay here again.

You know when you go to visit a member of your family, and they are really pleased to see you, well this is what staying here is like. You immediately feel part of the family.
Guiseppe and his lovely wife are great hosts, and will give you all the info you need to get into Rome, and give you a great breakfast before you go, and will also give you info on good places to eat locally too.

Giuseppe and his wife couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the b&b had lovely views and gardens. It was in a beautiful setting and our room was clean and spacious. The beds were super comfy and the shower powerful. The pool was amazing and Giuseppe was very kind in allowing us to stay by the pool for a couple of hours after we checked out as our flight wasn't til the evening.
Although we were aware we were out of the city, we were a little further out than we realised (about 30 minutes by bus). However, the buses are frequent and run til fairly late. We tended to stay in the city all day/eve rather than come back and change and go back again.

Shower could have been a little bigger which is a personal thing & maybe a little more could be offered in the line of breakfast, for example cooked eggs or cooked bacon. These are just personal choices and everything we did receive and have was more than satisfactory. Lovely stay with superb hosts.

The breakfast was adequate for our needs i.e cereal, toast, cheese, croissants, juices, coffee. There were other things on offer, however, we were satisfied with our choices.

The garden is beautiful, and super well organized with its view to the city. Having breakfast or dinner with such view is incredible!
We felts somehow safe, also leaving the car there, while traveling to the city center with the bus, which was very easy to take. The owner even helped us out with a bus ticket, Grazie!
The breakfast lady was super nice, and even as we don’t speak Italian, we were understood.
As it was raining in the evenings, we must highlight that we enjoyed the DVDs, which we could set to English language.
We were staying in one of the suites, and probably had different (too high?) expectations. Here are a few examples, we would have expected differently:
1. The toilet flush isn’t working properly and making a horrible noise, which we didn’t address, as this must be a known issue, obviously.
2. We weren’t made aware of a couple of things, which we found out while trying to fix it: the fridge had to be plugged in, same for the WiFi router. We just accidentally found out. Same goes for the outdoor light.
3. The couch was recently replaced, which is good. But the couch table was missing. So we didn’t have a table inside, which is shown differently on the pictures.
4. Italian breakfast is OK, but the coffee can be improved - we’re in Italy ;)
5. Overall, the lock wasn’t working for the room, which we addressed and were advised to lock the cage instead. And this is the overall feeling we had: it’s ok that some things just don’t work. But our expectations on what we pay for are slightly different.
We have read the very positive reviews on booking before deciding for this B&B. So our expectations were of course quite high from the beginning.
Therefore, we are confident that our feedback is taken as valuable, for other bookers as well as for the owners.

La Valle dei Casali is so near the city center and also a gentle countryside garden feel on the property.
Dinners (we had two evenings) by Giuseppe, from the Sip & Taste menu were a highlight. Each course was selected and prepared with care for their guests. We learned some new dishes and had wonderful wine pairing.
Hosts were very kind and accommodating to address any needs we may have had.

The property and the garden was truly beautiful and the pool was really really nice. All questions were answered by the family members running the facility and they were all the time really nice and welcoming.
Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. You were not able to take anything by yourself but needed to ask from the lady working at the breakfast room. No fruits nor anything fresh available.
The location was also challenging. Taxes did not always find the place and ended up to the "wrong side" of the property which was not accessible. Taxi costs ended up being quite high lot for the whole stay even we used bus as much us possible.
Also the room was not that functional nor particularly clean. The one and only toilet was accessible only via another room so you e.g. woke up every time when someone used it during the night.
Almost all closets were locked and there were no place nor hangers for clothes which was a bit challenging for 4 women travelling together.

they also do an authentic Italian on the property dinner, which has 5 courses and an aperitif and bottle of wine, this was one of the highlight of our stay, food was amazing music playing sitting by the pool, very romantic, would highly recommend

After some hectic days in Rome centrum, we wanted some days to relax. La valle dei casali was the PERFECT place for this. It is a little Paradise, with beautiful views, fantastic hosts who want to make your stay special and delicious food&wine. We enjoyed it so much!

This was an excellent experience. Anatolia and Giuseppe are great host. They are hospitable, attentive, respectful, and pleasant. Hosts were so nice!!!!!!!!!! Breakfast was great! This place is far enough from the city to be so quiet and peaceful. Very relaxing. We were well taken care of, I 100% recommend to stay here!!!
