The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Waitress service is always a bonus. The waiting staff were very friendly. Our room was warm and comfortable and tea and coffee in the room was unexpected. The rooms were spacious and cleaned well every day. We didn’t use the Spa but the pool looked inviting.
We were disappointed there was no lounge/bar area for residents only. The hotel bar is popular and was always crowded.

breakfast was amazing! Spa was also amazing. Room was perfect for us but needed some chairs. And TV transmision needed to be clear. Couldn't use Netflix.

Besonders hervorragend war auch das Personal, was super entgegenkommend war.
Badezimmer - nach der Dusche war das komplette Bad nass

The location was perfect for us. There was 2 pubs not far from the hotel if we wanted a change. The hotel itself was busy. A great vibe in the bar. The breakfast was excellent. All the staff were super friendly but I have to give a special mention to Lianne. Nothing was too much trouble for her
I had no complaints at all

Good location, get down to the beach for a good long walk. Nice pool. The room was a good size and well equipped.
Inconsistent food, one excellent evening meal, one not. Breakfasts much better. Bathroom floor very badly finished in our room. Small twin beds.

The reason to stay at this hotel is because my husband’s 2 x great grandparents who lived at this old part of Old Hall hotel.
There are nothing that we dislike.

The staff were friendly.
It was clean. The rooms were big and had everything you need it.
The pool is great and you must have a spa treatment.
The restaurant.
Breakfast was alright.
We had lunch and dinner at the bar ( the restaurant was full), but they had the same menu.
We had fish and chips- fish was fresh and crispy, but i got some chips who were frozen and dipped in hot oil. We send them back, we got the same.
We also had a roast dinner and personally i believe that the chicken was a little bit uncooked. Both times we had to eait very long to be served or to get the food.

Expectionally clean rooms, staff were incredibly helpful. Leisure facilities were also very good. Restaurant was beautiful and staff were so kind and helpful. Would not hesitate to book again.
Bar was noisy and busy but it was a Friday night so to be expected. That is a personal preference so not anything wrong the hotel.

There is an excellent choice of food and the portions are very generous.

Staff were so helpful Lifting luggage , getting breakfast, bedroom staff supply any needs asked for. Printing map for location
Pool area fair, staff ok, nothing extra or helpful,.
WHY DON'T they supply costume spinner/drier machines as in all other pool areas we go to or have experienced at other pool complexes. Just a centrifugal spinner extracts nearly 100% of water. Not extensive but EVERY client would benefit and be grateful.
In changing rooms lots of mess and dirt on floor Messy. No security available in storage boxes Not possible to change in a dry area. bad

The hotel is a little gem. The room was nice and clean. We were able to check in early and used the pool and jacuzzi. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet, giving a great night's sleep. Breakfast was good and filling.
Unfortunately, we did not get to use the bar as it was packed with locals watching football on the televisions, which was disappointing. This is the only thing that prevented this being 10 out of 10.

Wow everything was brilliant. The pool, spa, gym the room and the restaurant were of a high standard, also the staff were the best ive seen in a hotel for a long time, well done to them.

all areas were clean and looked well maintained with friendly helpful staff.
nothing really to speak of, location is not the best but only a 15 min stroll to the beach
4.0 / 10.0
the staff were friendly but that was it.
we booked what we thought was a “hall hotel” for a relaxing mini break.
Its not a hall. Or a hotel, really. its a massive pub, with a pool, and a “restaurant” the size of a tea room. so with 15 people in it its fully booked.
the pub and restaurant are a separate entity to the hotel, so the hotel guests are not a priority, and the guest experience is disconnected.
the pub was heaving with rugby and football fans, there was nowhere quiet to chill, and relax, even the pool area was being disrupted by teenage boys shouting.
no availability for lunch on arrival, we had to eat in the noise. and when we were finally offered a quiet table in the restaurant, we would have to be off it again within an hour.
not pleasant. not relaxing. not a spa. or a hotel. let alone a “spa hotel”.
its been photographed well thats for sure.
its tired, the spa is dirty, our bathroom had stains that would easily come out with some tlc.
thats whats lacking all round really.
it all seems to be geared around getting as many people into the pub and restaurant as possible to eat and drink all day. its loud. hotel guests are just extra punters.
we went to another hotel down the road for the afternoon to find some tranquility, and left without breakfast in the morning - which didn’t start til 8am.
i dont know what others staying here were expecting but it feel very far short of our expectations, sadly.

Old Hall is an excellent Spa Hotel. Swimming pool, Steam room, Sauna and Spa Pool are fantastic. Exceptional Staff, very friendly and all happy to help, all with a smile on their faces. Branford's restaurant serves delicious breakfast and dinner, very high quality food. Definitely would recommend booking a Spa treatment in advance to avoid missing out on arrival if they don't have spaces. will Definitely be booking another stay here.
Nothing.
