Well the property was clean. There were a number of issues. The property was advertised as pet friendly. However in the yard there were planks of wood with nail sticking out the gate could not be closed to let your animals off to run.
Well, the ad did show a staircase. There was no working outdoor lights. Sensor light didn’t work and neither did the light. At the top of the stairs, making it very difficult to go up and down the stairs.
The bathroom needed attention with loose tiles that lifted when you walked on them. The electric blankets did not work and if you wanted to plug-in the nonworking electric blanket you couldn’t have a bedside lamp No charge your phone unless you wanted it across the room from you
All of this was reported to the landlord who said she would have them fixed but didn’t really seem to care that it wasn’t the optimum stay

Always a pleasure , lovely and clean great location perfect for what I need

As I booked this 'Pet Secure' place for my dog to come, I relied on the Hosts' conformation that it would as described. This was totally untrue.
The driveway had a single metal gate hanging by one hinge, which had one screw hanging out, impossible to close, nothing to attach it to on other gatepost anyway.
Also, the backyard, like the driveway was all mud, no grass. And the property doorway had no mat(s) !
Cooking facilities less than adequate.
Square dinner plates that can't rotate in the microwave ?
Bed also substandard.
Lots of rattling and creaks in walls from heater.

stay here at least 2 a year perfect for what i need while i'm up here studying

The bed needed replacing. The whole place needed a good clean up. Windows needed cobwebs cleaned inside
and out. Vertical blinds were falling out of fittings. No outside light working. Draws in kitchen with a part of each draw missing. Stove not working. Lounge needed replacing. Very disappointing.
Very quiet area and very good location and a shame to be
Spoilt by no MAINTENANCE

WOULDNT STAY AGAIN. 1/10
This property is old and run down akin to a haunted house. Whilst the communication was good with the owner - due to no linen for the sofa bed it became apparent when we opened the sofa mattress we couldn’t sleep on it . It was very old and had holes in it.we purchased our own from Kmart. given the time of night , and our 10 hr drive and the fact she had mentioned she was at a fundraiser and maybe slow to contact we didn’t report this to the owner , something on checkout we were critiqued for.
Stairs to the property are steep and unsafe. Would not suggest for elderly or persons with difficulties getting around. No light at night which we used our lights on mobile phones.
Bathroom - broken tiles throughout must
Go through main bedroom to get to bathroom , failed to see that communicated anywhere. And we ran out of toilet paper on the last day ! We had a roll and some ‘leftovers ‘ thank heavens for tissues.
Wouldn’t have a small child in the house as flyscreen can push out and would be a falling issue for them.
Kitchen was small functional and parts of the draws missing that you could put your hand through.
This was communicated with Kate on checkin out, who was lovely . She did say we should have mentioned this during the stay and we could have had the downstairs property. However there were people in this along with a dog . We too were also there for sports early mornings and late nights we made do.

We were lucky that we were offered the house as it was vacant at no extra charge. Of course we accepted. The only down side was there was only 1 dishcloth for the entire stay.

Place was in a very convenient location for what we were after. Check in was very easy, instructions from owner were detailed. Air con was great as was the shower. Place could do with a little face lift and hand soap on arrival would be fantastic. Overall it was a fine place to stay.

Location was very convenientt. Couldn't have been better. Tucked away entrance through a laneway, almost felt like I lived there..,

Convenient, dog friendly, new heating great in cold weather, kitchen basic but adequate. Enclosed yard. For those with mobility issues - there are stairs for access.

The overall condition of this property was extremely poor
Key security box fell apart access stairs unsuitable for the elderly.
No hot water after running tap for 5-10 minutes
Badly stained carpet, filthy windows and unpleasant odour
Bed missing mattress protector and only three very small flat pillows
No bathroom soap and no toilet paper on roll
Extremely basic kitchen with no tea making supplies and a drawer missing
We decided we could not stay given the property's extremely poor condition and were fortunate enough to locate alternative accommodation elsewhere in Wagga at our own expense.
Having driven 5 hours from Sydney we feel entitled to at least a part refund and strongly recommend that this property be removed from your listings.

Lovely little spot to stay. Quite a private flat, simple, tidy though no extras like handsoap/cleaning bits. There's a great secured yard for dogs and undercover off street parking. Only downsides are the heater in the lounge doesn't work so it can be a little chilly and no bathroom door!
Will stay again!

As an aged pensioner, to be put in that up unsafe stair case was appalling, we left after 1 night, laid for 2 nights and wss refused a refund. I would never recommend this place. Kaye sent me pics of a stair case ager i aked for a refund, t.h.e pic was nothing le the one i heds taken that morning. Absolutley no disability access so i slept in my car, this place isn't suitable for aged, families, pets, disabled, visionally impaired or anyone who might enjoy a meal out and a few drinks. I requested a refund for the unused night, that was a joke, all for taking people's money

The sheets on the bed were clean but the apartment otherwise had a neglected feel. Doors, tiles, window, air conditioner needing repair, toilet leaking.

Simmons Apartment
Good location, clean and tidy apartment.
We ended up not staying due to no fault of the owner or property. We had 4 dachshunds traveling with us. Owner did mention stairs and we saw the stairs on the photo's. Unfortunately our dogs did not manage the steeps stairs and we couldn't get them to settle down. There were also large dog on the property below and next door which unsettled the dogs more, so we decided not to stay.
I cannot fault the property and location.

This apartment was great and Kate was very accommodating for all my requests. The dogs had a fenced yard and the baby had a porta cot provided. It had all we needed for our family and our little getaway.

We enjoyed our stay over Christmas in this clean and tidy apartment. The location was great and it was close to pubs and restaurants.

Comfortable & Great Location
Great location, very comfortable living area & bedroom. Very nicely decorated & clean. Loved that we could get the car off the street, in fact it stayed in the carport for our stay, we were able to walk everywhere. My only complaint would be the shower recess, it needed a really good clean. It was unfortunate, as the rest of the apartment was immaculate.

Convenient and comfy
Great location so close to town centre and very clean, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed our 2night stay for our daughter's graduation. Would definitely recommend (note stairs may be a problem for elderly but not for us - early 60s and fairly fit)

Clean, comfortable and very convenient
Stay on Simmons apartment is great accommodation for a couple (and canine companions). The apartment is in an excellent location, close to everything but very quiet and private. The bed was really comfortable (a huge plus) and everything was clean and bright. The cooling is excellent (very necessary in Wagga) and the yard was secure for dogs. We look forward to staying again.

Neat, tidy and very dog friendly
A comfortable well equipped apartment with a small fenced yard for the dogs to stretch their legs. Very well located, only a short walk from town. Highly recommended for the owners relaxed attitude to our canine companions! Kate was helpful and responsive. Wagga has waited a long time for central dog friendly accommodation. It has finally arrived!

perfect palce to stay
A lovely little apartment, with one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. Nice large couch to sprawl on at the end of the day and a short walk to a number of good eateries. I locked myself out, and our host was there in a few minutes with a spare key. That is good service!

Light, bright and welcoming!
Lovely little unit in a central but quiet location, ideal for a couple. Furniture was new and comfortable, unit newly carpeted and painted. Skylights fill the sitting room with light and the air conditioning / heating is just right for the space. Excellent value for money.
