Het ontbijt was geweldig. Met iedere ochtend een verrassing. Als je een ei wil kan dat ook. In welke vorm dan ook.
Helemaal niets.

Beautiful old farmhouse that has been masterfully renovated. Loaded with charm. The grounds are beautiful. You feel like you are deep in the country, yet it’s just an easy short drive into Bayeux - the best of both worlds! Valkyrie is a wonderful host - very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. And the breakfast is amazing! Definitely consider staying here if you are traveling to Normandy.

We stayed for 2 nights early September while doing a tour of Normandy. It was the best stay in all of Normandy - by far. The hostess - madame Walkyrie - is incredibly kind and has given the whole stay an unforgettable touch. The house itself is a perfectly renovated fortified farm from the 15th century but it really feels like a chateau. The rooms have been very tastefully renovated, are spotlessly clean and spacious. The atmosphere of rural calm and peace is incredible. We slept like babies. Nothing like coming from a long day spent exploring the many sights to this oasis and enjoying a glass of cider in the garden. Breakfasts are plentiful and entirely made of local products, including delicious pastries baked by Walkyrie. Although situated outside civilization, it's only a 10-min drive to Bayeux, a beautiful town with nice restaurants and many shops. For any D-Day enthusiast, this is as good a base as you can get, with easy access to all the D-Day sites. We plan on coming back just to be able to relive this magical experience.

The house and its grounds are absolutely stunning. The room was large and well-appointed, stylishly decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside in te garden, in the company of the dog (Charlie) and the peacock (Monsieur). However, the best part of our stay was chatting with Madame Caillau. She is a lovely person, with a kind, warm soul. She made our stay all the more special. I highly recommend you stay at the Manoir du Pont Senot.
Nothing--everything was perfect!!

Everything was absolutely wonderful. Walkyrie is an exceptional hostess who not only presided over an exceptional property but also provides a breakfast that is as beautiful and plentiful as it is delicious.
Nothing. It was somewhat out of the way, but that also is a feature.

Everything about this experience was amazing. The accommodations, the breakfast, the host! We even recommended this location to a couple we met later on in our travels. The host and the guests were incredibly helpful in getting us back to Caen to drop off our car! (And teaching us how to use Google Maps)

It was so well appointed in every way. The room was perfect for our group of 3. It had everything we needed from comfy beds, sitting area, hair dryer, mini fridge, water coffee, not to mention the beautiful decorating! We also loved to see the peacocks and chickens

We were greeted very warmly by Walkyrie our host. She is very engaging and friendly. We were shown the grounds and the beautiful interior. The Manoir is accommodation of a very high standard. Our stay was comfortable and very enjoyable. Our breakfast consisted of delicious homemade food. The yoghurt especially deserves high praise. We recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Our stay was wonderful! Walkyrie was so welcoming and an absolutely wonderful hostess. Breakfast was incredible. The room and everything at Le Manoir was so comfortable. I loved getting to know Walkyrie and talking with her in the mornings. She was also so helpful and gave us tips to make our trip better and for planning what to do each day.

Amazing stay. It is better in person. Communication was excellent as we were arriving later then planned. The room was stunning and aptly decorated. Picture perfect tranquility in the French Country side. The breakfast spread was diverse and delicious.

Le Manoir du Pont Senot is a paradise on earth and the host is a magician. The rooms are amazing: you live in a 15th century Manor House which has been rebuilt, beautifully designed, and it truly feels like a fairytale. The breakfast is spectacular: home made yogurt, brioche, cake, crepes, waffles, you name it. In the garden you meet the local peacocks, pony’s, chicken and the lovely dog. The host was kind enough to show the animals to our kids: they even had a chance to feed the chicken. The local countryside, towns, and beaches provide lots of opportunities to visit and explore. We spent the best holiday ever and we will definitely be back 😊

This is a very interesting medieval house which the owners restored from a ruin over the past 30 years. It is in the middle of the countryside, very quiet & surrounded by fields. We were given a very warm welcome and our queen sized room was superb. It had been cleverly designed to accommodate a shower and separate loo without disturbing the historic nature of the room. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast downstairs in the hall was absolutely outstanding, the best we had anywhere and included in the price of the room. Each day we were given different local produce and everything was of the best quality. We enjoyed the pets, a dear old dog, pussycat, ponies and a young peacock trying to attract the attention of the peahen!
You have to drive 5 miles to Bayeux for dinner as there isn't anywhere local.

The question is: what is NOT to like!? Valkyrie and her husband are the perfect hosts! First of all: how they transformed this manoir in the last 20 years is beyond words. It is truly a work of art, and their life's work. They've put a lot of effort and passion in it, and you can see and feel that immediately. It is cosy, stylish, clean and - most of all - very authentic. The attention to detail is incredible. And there's a story behind every piece of furniture and every object. The room is beautiful, quiet and has everything you need. Breakfast was a feast. And Valkyrie did a lot of effort to adapt the breakfast to our personal needs (I had a stomach issue at the time). Around the house is also very idyllic. They have horses, chickens, a cute dog and even 2 peacocks. And there are also lots of stories there. We were welcomed in a wonderful way and had long and interesting talks with the hostess. We are definitely going back and I'm for one am sending all my friends and family there. Thank you Valkyrie, for everything! We will meet eachother again! Isabelle & Michael (Belgium)
RIEN (nothing)! This place deserves a 10+!

It was the best stay of our vacation this summer. We booked quadruple room and it was big and well furnished for our little one to discover different objects and even run sometimes.
Great breakfast: in addition to local cheese, fresh crusty baguette, croissants we had every day something new (fresh made desserts, cakes, fruit bowls). It was also a pleasure to meet chickens, horses and a dog.
And special thank you to the owner. She is the most welcome and kind host we have ever met in France.
