Close to Camino that is the only good point

Double bed was a bottom bunk bed, very uncomfortable. Food was pre-cooked supermarket ready meals from Mercadona, very overpriced. Not a restaurant as quoted on booking.com

The owners were very nice-helped us with our laundry and had plenty of food you can buy.

We were walking the Camino and it was outside the city center on a busy road. Made it hard to access and get to the grocery store and town.

really nice pension with wonderful host

The pension is lovely, comfortable and spacious. The host was so attentive and kind.

The location is a little bit off the Pilgrim path, which is the only thing I didn’t like about it. However, the host was so nice and offered to drive us to the start of the Camino the next morning, which was so sweet and appreciated

Owner operator takes great pride in his accomplishments and is running a clean and efficient operation.

Food was quick prepared foods that just needed to be heated up. It was good for us because we did not want to walk to town which was about a kilometer away. That was the only downfall was distance off the trail, but it wasn't bad.

Comfortable place to stay while walking the Camino Ingles.

The pool in the backyard on a hot day was amazing!!!! Room was comfortable, ability to purchase food in kitchen, while a little confusing at first, turned out to work out well. Breakfast was good-- continental style.

How the food worked was a little confusing at first-- what was available, how payment would work-- did we cook it ourselves, or did the staff cook it . . . . but once that was figured out, it was a great place.

this was a lovely, family run albergue. we were thrilled to dip in the pool and to have ceiling fans. the house is a little out of town, but it was easy to ask for help to arrange a taxi. this is one of our favorite places we stayed on our Camino

Relaxing pool area

The staff was amazingly kind and friendly. The pool felt restorative after hiking for many kilometers. We had a spacious apartment equipped with a washer, drying racks and a full kitchen. Walking distance to a little grocery in town that even sells until 2pm on Sundays.

We expected 2 beds. We hadn't expected bunk beds. The microwave meals offered in the main kitchen were meh. The packaged salad was good, though.

Hiking the Camino and would definitely stay here again

It is clean and conveniently located to the Camino DeSantiago. They offer breakfast lunch and dinner. The couple that owns pension Villanova is helpful, friendly, accommodating..... very very nice!

It's close to a road so if road noise bothers you it may not be the place for you. However it's highway noise and actually made it easier to sleep for me. The hum of the tires was like having white noise in the background and I kept the windows open all evening.
