Pretty historic property set in lovely park land. Rooms comfortable.
Taking the wine tour and tasting was a definite highlight.
Gym hot and poorly equipped but empty.
Terrible inflexible staff. Some good but mostly badly trained and not there to look after guests. Really poor. This is the worst review I have left for anywhere in recent years.
Hotel empty except for us and one couple yet we could only take dinner in the somewhat stiff dining room and not on the lovely terrace. Stayed here 4 nights.
I was amazingly verbally abused by the receptionist who physically shoved me and called me horrible! Never had this before particularly in a really expensive hotel. My complaint was upheld by the manager who disciplined the staff member but frankly it was terrible and blighted my stay. The same receptionist was rude to the other guests also yet is still working there. Not worth the $1800 dollars.
Food pretty average at best. The pasta I ordered must have been boiled for 20 minutes as it was mushy and just had some tomato paste put through it. Like student cooking standard at its worst.
This place really needs to get its act together as the building is great but the service is a total stinker. There are much better and cheaper options nearby as I found out…..

The historic house lies in beautiful grounds. The rooms are nice and the interior of the house has a touch of grandeur. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The spa and gym are a 5-10 min walk away from the house and are very old and in need of modernising. The sun beds around the pool are cheap and uncomfortable.
We didn’t like the restaurant arrangements with a very limited choice menu. There is only one other restaurants near by which doesn’t open in the evening.

Service was exceptional. Extreme kindness. Polite and very careful.
Maybe bathrooms far from restaurant area. For older people that´s far.

This historic manor house is a beautiful gem! The room overlooking the courtyard was beautiful and the manor garden and grounds are spectacular. The staff were exceptional and always very helpful. The fact that is surrounded by one of Chile’s great wineries makes this a special place.
The Santa Rita winery’s snack bar closed early on us, which was a source of disappointment and inconvenience.

Beautiful house, with excellent staff, a great park to stroll and a little pool with all the necessary perks.
We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and it was great.
Everything was great, actually. Nothing to complain about.

There could not be a better place for us as wine lovers. We tasted the wines, visited the excellent cellars and the wine shop where we had a 25% discount as guests. The walks in the beautiful garden and bike rides through the vineyards were wonderful. We can only recommend a stay in this special place with a rich history.

We could not have been more pleased with Casa Real.. the food was excellent and the staff extremely nice and attentive. We walked the whole grounds for almost an hour then went to the pre-Colombian museum on the property which was way beyond what we expected..My wife and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone

overall an excellent stay! we took a wine tour, booked through booking.com, which was a great way to learn about the vineyard. we had a complementary bottle of wine waiting for us in the room. the bed was really comfortable and the room got nice and dark for good sleeping. we had an amazing time! breakfast was also very good as well.
the dinner wasn’t the best. it was good! but not quite up to the standards of the rest of the hotel. just a minor gripe

it’s fabulous
the gym didn’t open till 10 am - this is really odd. people that exercise usually do it before breakfast

a magnificent place to stay. it was like staying in a country house. marvellous former home of the vineyard owners built in 1880. we had a marvellous room. with large living room and outside area. we had a fascinating tour of the Santa Rita vineyards. it was a privilege to stay here. our best stay in Chile. lovely staff who made us so welcome.
nothing. perhaps a kettle in the room so we could make our own tea!

beautiful garden, small number of rooms, comfortable rooms, clean
nice people but poor customer service . one expects more for this price. FE - we were directed to another vineyard to visit but was not told that a reservation is needed. we waisted 1/2 day.

The location and facilities of the hotel are amazing, the gardens, the flowers, the big trees, the quietness and the architecture. The service was exceptional in and outside the room, the personal is always eager to help you with everything.
Vegetarian options aren't that many, mostly limited to salads and pasta. The place is really expensive but you get every $$$ you pay for in an amazing experience

Lovely friendly service from all the staff, we particularly enjoyed the fabulous gardens which are perfect for a bike ride and an excellent picnic prepared by the hotel!
Dinner service was quite slow on our second night when it was busier

Amazing service and attention to detail. super friendly and helpful. The suite was amazing. The chef created delicious food and the wines paired with each course are perfect. I used the gym and did the carmenere tour. Do visit the museum. it is well laid out and great artefacts.
wifi can be iffy. thick walls. however staff arranged for my meeting in a room with excellent wifi

We loved the park setting and the overall vibe and character of this magnificent "villa". The staff is amazing and very helpful to coordinate wine tasting tours, and anything else requested
The wait service, setting and attention to wine in the restaurant were excellent and beyond comparison. However, the food served for dinner was disappointing. Few options and food was served cold and bland.

Manuel made our stay, he was absolutely brilliant. Location is fantastic.

Hotel Casa Real is a fabulous old Chilean house beautifully restored and converted into a guest house. it has pretty gardens with wonderful old trees.
Although the staff are all very attentive and able the overall experience lacked the old world luxury and service that a location of this prestige deserves. The quality of the food and cooking did not live up to the standards of Santa Rita fine wines. The quality of Chilean cooking and restaurants has increased immeasurably in the past 20 years and Casa Real and Doña Paula restaurants’ offerings are sadly stuck in the past. I love simple ingredients brought to life well and Chile has some of the finest produce you will find anywhere. Perhaps the owners will invest for the future and ensure the tourism offering of Santa Rita is refreshed for the next decade.
