The area was great. Safe and secure and easy to get to the funicular or into the main centre. The view from the balcony is great.
The bed was the sofa converted and the second bed was a roll under. This was very dirty, had hair and dust/fluff all over it. The bedding was poor. There were sheets which were clean but duvets and pillows were again dirty with no clean covers. You cannot use the table and chairs in the space given so you have to pull it out to use. If you have any luggage it is a tricky space. It was not a simple arrival as we did not know where to go or how to get in. No information was given about this. I had asked for an early departure on booking but this seemed to be a very big problem. I ended up having to pay €35 extra for this. The customer service at the apartment was poor.

location was as described.
Before we arrived I attempted to call the host to arrange a rendezvous as requested by email (with several abrupt messages). They did not answer the phone when I did try to contact them,. I got several rather abrupt messages insisting I give them an hours notice...but they then did not respond to my calls! I got a text message to them. When I eventually got them on the phone they refused to say how long we would need to wait before they came to let us in.When we did eventually meet they were rather grumpy and off hand. The host demanded 250 euros cash before letting us even see the apartment. I explained that I wanted to make arrangements for the return of any such deposit, as we planned to get a very early train and would be leaving at about 4.15 am. They refused to return the deposit at that time, saying "checkout is at 1030".While I appreciate that its reasonable to state a latest checkout time, its ridiculous to specify that we must WAIT until a certain time. They stated that the key fobs are "very expensive". As we were three ladies in our 60's with no intention of losing the keys or trashing the apartment it was irritating that no practical solutions to the question of the deposit were even contemplated . It was suggested the cash could be posted to us in the UK, an offer which seemed highly unreasonable and unreliable. I asked to speak with the chef du service to see if something could be arranged but this was refused. Therefore we decided to seek accommodation elsewhere and found somewhere with less hassle. There was a partial refund made but in view of the rather rude reception, the lack of response to my initial telephone calls, the unwillingness to discuss a solution to the deposit issue...I feel a total refund would have been more appropriate. I will not book this type of arrangement ever again.

Location. Hot water.
Inflexible on times to check in and check out. We arrived in Bourg at a reasonable time 2pm and had communicated this beforehand but we had to wait until 3.30pm before we could meet the keyholder. Our departure flight was early in the morning and transfer via Coolbus was leaving at 6am. The keyholder would not meet us until 10.30am which meant we would have had to miss our transfer and flight. Fortunately, family in Bourg were able to do the check out for us, however, the keyholder was late and did not arrive for them until 10.50am when 10.30am had been agreed. The apartment is best described as 'tatty'. Everything looks really old and worn. There was no toaster and kitchen utensils minimal so made self catering difficult.

Great location especially for the price. Flat got very warm and the hot water was great. Went to ski so didn’t spend tons of time in the flat.
The host was a bit challenging to text with (the language barrier didn’t help) but she came through in the end. Not an easy check in/out process since we needed to pay an extra €20 for the late arrival and early departure needed to catch our trains. Also paid an extra €20 for sheets and towels (unclear what that wasn’t built into the room price). Overall not an issue if you communicate early with the host and bring cash for the deposit/extras on arrival

We stayed 12 nights and having stayed in similar properties in the area for ski trips for over 10 years this studio was what we expected.
Free parking right outside the property (a luxury after the nightmare of Arc 1800 last time!).
Good location for the funicular to reach Arc 1600.
Short walk to Lidl and town.
Good value for money compared to in the Les Arcs resorts.
Enough kitchen equipment for basic self catering.
The host was friendly and spoke enough English, together with our poor French, to communicate with us.
We would stay again (probably in a bigger apartment!)
We got what we expected - just don't book if you want a hotel!
This is a small, basic studio which is reflected in the price.
The check in and out times displayed on Booking.com are accurate but not flexible. Don't book if you are likely to be delayed. Also, check the phone number with the host - it was incorrect when we tried to call prior to arrival.
You will need to bring your own bed sheets, towels etc. (as in most traditional self-catering properties) which we did. We also bought extra pillows at the hypermarket (easily accessed on the free town bus).
Probably not worth it for less than a week's stay but ideal for a longer holiday on a budget.

Nothing
The landlord was passive agressive and text me to ask for my arrivela time.Ask to call one hour before, then for a solo night request to do a full check-in inspection and you can't arrive after 6:30 pm The lady told me there is a 250 euro deposit ,that wasn't on the booking detail (anywhere i check on my booking reservation there wasn't any mention)
Fridge was full of ice and no usefull. There was a single blanket for the full 3 beds.Tiny old full of wear heater.I was so dam cold all night (and i am the kind of guy usually don't matter). Then next day i have a check-out and inspection to leave at 11 am (have to be 11 am) so it kind of ruin your day when you only stay there for one night two day and it's a hikking location. Then the landlord ladyt me hang and wait in the parking for 10 minutes before finally open the gates so i can get out.Bed are also very uncomfortable.

The area with the mountains (not the neighborhood!)
The bed was dirty. The host was not friendly.

The lady charged us an extra €50 for late check in and early check out which is not mentioned in her description or terms and conditions. She threatened to cancel our booking without returning the cost of our prepaid stay if we did not pay the extra fee for late check in and early check out. The property is listed to have a double and pull out bed but there was only a pull out bed which was broken. There was also a very bad smell in the apartment.

Very little. It had a bed, which I was desperate for after a 12hour drive.
Very small. Poorly equipped. I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody.

Location would have been good if we could have stayed. Otherwise accomodation is dated, way too strict and staff are unpleasant.
We didn't actually stay here because, after an extremely stressful day whereby we had to immediately leave our other accomodation due to the resort closing because of Coronavirus, we had to catch the first flight we could out of France. This property wouldn't allow us to check out at 4am, considering we had to get our transfer at 5am. Absolutely no wiggle room at all. They also wanted a €300 deposit for one night, paid in cash, which meant if we did leave at 4am we would have lost the €300 deposit. While trying to find a solution, the woman got very irate and we felt it better to leave. She told us to sort it with booking.com but she is now refusing to give us a refund, even though we didn't stay. Unless you can leave in the specific 30min check out window they have and want to spend an hour doing an inventory when you arrive at and leave this property, do not stay here. Do yourself a favour and stay at Base Camp Lodge up the road. The staff were helpful, the rooms are lovely, not much difference in price, and staff will let you leave at 4am during a global pandemic so you aren't stuck in France for an undetermined amount of time.

Location
Host was rude, and initially demanded that we couldn't check out on the day we were due to leave until 330pm, despite needing to catch a plane. Host also accused me of causing damage, before later realising it was not me.
