Perfect getaway!

Everything. We loved everything. However, the swimming pool stood out the most!

أنصح به جمييييل جدا واستجمام وسط الأجواء الريفيةوالطبيعة

عشنا أيام في وسط الطبيعة الغرفة طرازها خشبي رائع والماء والطيور وبركة السباحة محاطة بورد الزنبق من جميع الجهات يوجد ممشى رائع. أتمنى ان اسكنه مرة أخرى

جزء من الطريق للفندق غير مرصوف متعب وبعيد قليلا.

Super freundliches Personal. Pool aussergewöhnlich im Lotusblumenteich, toll. Die original alten Heritage Häuser (Bungalow's) sind äusserst beeindruckend, fantastisch und unglaublich gross. Riesiges Badezimmer und viele schöne, bequeme Möbel. Safe, Kühlschrank alles vorhanden. Wir hatten ein schönes Familienerlebnis für 2-3 Tage. Mit Grab- oder sonstigen Taxis problemlos erreichbar und auch für alle Ausflüge geeignet.

Essen ist ok, schade hat es keinen Wein oder Bier, kann man aber locker selber mitbringen.

Awesome stay

- Staffs so kind and helpful - Unique building way of the wood - Living unfortunately life in forest with trees/insects/night sounds/ - Swimming pool was awesome

- Breakfast no much options // suggesting to provide Arabic foods, you will have more guests if you provide. - Restaurants/shops far from the resort // suggesting to provide vending machine and small shop in lobby.

A great place to stay with family.

The rooms were good and the ambience was good. Although at times I felt like the rooms could use more lightning but that would kill the look and feel of the room in low light setting. The hosts were great.

Balik kampung

Kampung style aged houses on stilts with a modern twist, making them so comfortable. Might be a bit hot on sunny days but u can always switch on the ACs. The washroom is just 😍.

Lovely stay at Kunang Kunang

Lovely traditional villas, which were quite quirky and spacious. Loved the pool in the middle of a lilly pond. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was very good. No problem using grab to venture out.

The bed only has a light bed cover. It's weird to say in a hot/humid country, but I would have liked a blanket or doona.

In general, a great place to relax body and soul.

Everything was great and authentic, cozy from the first minute of our stay. From the doorstep was greeted with a cool towel and drinks. The staff is super friendly. Pleasantly surprised the cleaning in the villa every day!

The only downside exactly in the villa where we stayed, very noisy at night, in that area of the territory very loud sound of cicadas, and frogs) But this is nature. The first night was intimidating, and then we got used to it and everything was fine.

Very nice, clean and outstanding location with great comfort and a special holiday feeling...

Whole location fabulous: style of villas, fully equipped with hairdryer, fridge, airco/propeller, daily towels exchanged, comfortable bed (with cover protecting from mosquitos), a lot of space. Nice enviroment (trees Outstanding floating pool, free towels available. Nice breakfast buffet (staff was even flexible to provide a breakfast bag to carry away!). Small store (with local art & crafts. Books avaliable. Excellent kitchen (dinner). Very friendly and absolutely flexible staff If I would return to Langkawi this location will be my favourite!

Place for clothes is limited (and no possibilities to hang them in the room) especially if two persons would use this villa. Close to the runway of Langkawi Intl Airport (was not an issue foor me related to 'noise' of landing/starting planes) Asked several times to repair cuboard (missing clothes rail) but did not happen... Access to location not so nice (small roads, potholes)

We love everything about Kunang kunang. Definitely we will go back for our next holiday.

My husband and i, we love everything about the villas, room deco, the interior design, the restaurant as well as the breakfast and lunch menu. The classical traditional Malay concept is the main attraction at Kunang kunang. I chose the villa from the website to surprise my husband for our honeymoon holiday. When we were at Kunang kunang, he was so amazed, fascinated and stunt with the beautiful Malays building and the architecture. So do I. It was not just about the buiiding, the landscape has its own connection and attraction too. It is all well balanced. Nevertheless, the hotel staffs and managers they are so friendly, knowlegeable and helpful too. We love the environment. The staffs are always happy to approach us. Basically they are happy people. We felt so welcome to be there. Kudos to encik Mat, encik Rais, the chefs, restaurant staffs, housekeepers and the gardeners. You guys are awesome. We were there for five days and definitely we would like to stay longer on our next visit.

We love everything there at Kunang kunang. We only spotted a tiny thing that needed to be highlighted so that it wont spoil the beautiful things we like about Kunang kunang. Our humble opinion is about a table knife needs to be placed on the table as part of a table settings so tht i could cut the salads into small pieces before eating it. My husband would love to use a table knife to spread butter on the bread. We had to ask for it everytime we were having breakfast. Overall we love Kunang kunang.

A great stay in a traditional villa!

The hotel features an amazing pool submerged in a lily pond . The villas themselves are nice, large and spacious, the outdoor patio and outdoor bathroom was also large. The room and the resort itself was very clean. The kitchen has good food but closes at around 5-5.30 every day.

I found everything exceptional, the only issues is if you want to walk place it is abit out of the way, but grab was able to do everything.

Fantastic swimming pool and amazing surroundings, would stay again!

When the cleaners came in to clean the room was great however, when they came in they left the door open a lot and they also left lots of the windows open, this meant that not only does the heat get into the room so when we come back it would be hot but it also let in bugs! We had to kill many cockroaches and they were crawling all over the floor!

Good staff and big room but Food and AC needs serious improvement

The rooms are big and clean. The staff is very sweet. It’s very near to the airport

The food is not good. Also, I saw many ants in the bread basket in breakfast. The AC couldn’t cool the room in the day time and it becomes hot. At night only, it gets fine

Amazing stay, shame we only stayed for 1 night!

Amazing villa and pool area - so nice surrounded by the water and jungle. The food was lovely. The room is so nice and great to experience a heritage style villa.

The restaurant closed at 5pm so had to go elsewhere for dinner.

It is a collection of amazing original tradition Malaysian houses in a jungle setting with an outstanding swimming pool floating in a lily pond. great staff, so friendly, so helpful. it is near the airport but we never heard or saw a plane. we booked for four nights and extended to eight. great food in the restaurant as well.

Very good

The wooden villas are lovely, spacious and airy, and you get a feel for a traditional Malaysian house. Lovely gardens and reception areas, friendly staff and great food, and the pool is beautiful to sit around. Really enjoyed our stay.

The villas are originals and old, it's key to their charm, just don't expect flyscreen or really modern comforts. The location is out in farmland near the airport, a scooter or Grab needed to get around quickly. The restaurant opens for lunch only a few days a week, which was a pity as we really enjoyed it and would've liked to stay in and have dinner at least once. But for the price, great value.

We absolutely loved the rustic feel and the floating swimming pool. The perfect place for nature lovers, so many wonderful animals around the pound, especially the birds.

The breakfast wasn’t the best selection but tried to embrace Asian breakfast selection.
