We enjoyed our stay at the Creekside Hideaway 1 cabin. rLoved hearing the creek while rocking on the porch. The cabin was well equipped with all we needed. Thanks

The description of the property was spot on. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The owner sent emails with local attractions and restaurants in the area. The location was so convenient. We enjoy Pop's restaurant every morning and finished the week off with a steak at J Arthurs. The location is wonderful and pretty private. The stream out back of the cabin was like soundscapes. Would definitely stay again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, secluded and relaxing. The house was well equipped and also had several, movies, books and even a game system with several games. There were also several board games to choose from. The hot tub was also nice.

Property very nice. Location couldn’t be better!

The cabin was just as it was depicted on the website, very clean and welcoming. We will definitely stay again! Felt at home from the moment we got unpacked and had our first cup of coffee on the deck

Great cabin for small family vacay. The driveway down to the house was tricky; a very sharp left turn. I had to stop; back up and then proceed every time to go down and back up from the cabin. There’s no way I would try it if it were to snow or ice over!! The “creek” that runs through the back is not much of a creek at all. No fish/fishing. However, it is relaxing to hear, especially after a good rain, while sitting on the porch. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed and the beds were comfy!

just a get away week. property was pleasant. Saw a young deer while sitting on the porch quite a surprise. Location of property was near everything in Maggie Valley

Very much enjoyed the cabin amenities, hot tub, wood fireplace & town of Maggie Valley. Nice setup, very quaint.
The cabin itself was drafty & needs a kitchen deep clean & organization. Nice area, close to town.

We enjoyed staying at this quaint cabin for a quick getaway. The location is very close to downtown Maggie Valley, but was quiet and mostly secluded. The property is rustic with a lovely back porch and very clean. Access was stress free. The property manager provided a great amount of detail about the surrounding area, which was extremely helpful for our first visit to Maggie Valley.

Enjoyed our stay!

The cabin was clean, welcoming, and charming. Lovely creek flowing through property with campfire ring to enjoy. Endearingly decorated and fully stocked. The location was convenient to our activities as well. Highly recommend!

This cabin needs alot of attention. The backyard is so grown up that YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE THE CREEK. You have to walk through the weeds, brush and small growing trees to even get to the creek. NOT APPEALING AT ALL!!! Hot tub jets don't work--temperature wouldn't get to max the whole time we were there. Batteries in the remotes (mostly) didn't work. Movies are old. Bring your own if you want up dated movies. The trumble bed is like sleeping on springs. Washer and dryer is on its last leg. HORRIBLE NOISE!! Back deck light is aggravating as heck (stays on about 2 minutes and goes off---motion light) THIS IS A PAIN IN THE BUTT!!! Very dangerous stairs inside. NON OF THE LIGHTS WORK ON THE STEPS. Very hard to see the steps. My sister missed the last step coming down and caught herself on the railing and ripped her arm. (THIS IS A BLIND SPOT, HORRIBLE) AND A HEADS UP-----you are only a loud to use 1 TRASH BAG the entire time you are there, doesn't matter how long you stay. You have to take off your own trash or pay an extra $35 which you are to leave on the counter. I would not stay in this cabin again. WAS NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!! No dishwasher--which I overlooked on my own before booking.

Leslie was a very gracious hostess. Had an issue with the AC when we arrived there. They were there within 5 minutes and got the issue taken care of pronto! We fell in love with the back porch and the peaceful sound of the creek. Would highly recommend this place for those of you looking for rest and relaxation!

The sound of the babbling brook while we slept with windows open made our little stay perfect while we escaped our hectic and stressful life! Everything in the cabin was spotless, the host was highly responsive and best of all, she doesn’t require a lot of ridiculous rules when checking out. We enjoyed exploring Maggie Valley and Waynesville and highly recommend!!

Beautiful and quiet. Hot tub a major plus. Location is in the mtns with easy access to major roads. Accidentally locked ourselves out of house and property manager was responsive and friendly.

We saw blue ghost fireflies right in the yard!

The cabin itself & the setting are just beautiful. Our first time staying somewhere besides a hotel. It was perfect for our family. We will definitely be going back.

Upon arrival it was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the blue ridge parkway drive with waterfalls and geocashing. We all loved the hottub and all the roku tvs to accommodate the kids and adults. The ps2 was a hit as well for our little guys.

This was the best rental experience that we have had. The cabin was perfect.

The kids had an amazing time, from the hot tub to exploring all three creeks to sitting on the deck in the evenings listening to them it was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend!

Enjoyed the front porch and the sound of the creek! Great location!

We loved the cabin and location. The cabin was clean and had ample and comfortable seating. The fireplace was nice for a chilly night. All in all a wonderful stay — especially the shops and the ELK.

Bedding not washed! Sheets were stained and smelled disgusting. Stains came out after washing, so these were not permanent stains. When I removed the sheets to wash them I found the mattress cover had blood stains! The parking was difficult. I just can't get past the unwashed sheets!

We loved it, great location!

The cabin is nestled in the Maggie Valley Mountains close to town and the quaint shopping area of Waynesville. We really enjoyed walking and biking around Lake Junaluska. The cabin overlooks a stream and we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds feed. I don’t remember mention of removing any bags of garbage over one to avoid a fee so did want to mention that to others in case you have a full cabin of peeps. Very nicely decorated cabin with all the needed amenities for cooking in. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

My family and I enjoyed this cabin. There were a couple of things that needed addressing but overall it was a good experience. It would be really nice if the hot tub was covered so when it rains you can still enjoy it.

This was a beautiful cabin. Very clean. Owner and property manager both were very friendly. We had a great time!

Overall Terrific
Property easy to find. Very clean and spacious. Beautiful cabin. Toiletries provided and extra toilet paper given which is a very nice touch. Seasonings provided in kitchen - also very beneficial. If you are traveling in a big vehicle, be aware the driveway has a sharp bend with difficult turning radius. Not impossible for big vehicles just need to turn then reverse and go again. Would def stay here again when we come back to the area!!
