Close to event we attended
The rooms were not clean and beds very uncomfortable. Lots of seasonal workers staying there be nice to know this on site

Seemed clean and great location, parking etc
Was a very basic and a bit tired interior. Bed was ok though. Sofa springs were pretty bad - only comfortable for 1 person. Pool looked filthy.

It was handy location & helpful friendly staff.
The walls in the room were not at all soundproof and we could hear all conversations & loud snoring from the adjoining room which made it very hard to sleep.

No air con in our room

Nothing , it was shabby and ill equipped , people were living in some of the motel rooms and it boasted a pool that was badly maintained , small and stuffy ☹️
Everything , if you left the window open my husband discovered that you could put your arm thru and unlock the door from the outside , I was horrified !

the location is great and the room was comfortable. The kitchen facilities are minimal and the pool was dirty. When I arrived my room was not ready so I had to wait half hour, however the staff where very apologetic and I did go between Christmas and New Year so its understandable that they had reduced staff. All of that said I would stay here again.
The lighting in the room could be a bit brighter and the kitchen facilities need a little update (cooker) but I did not use them. The pool could use a clean as well.

The location is near town centre
The smell of the room, smells like cigarette. The carpet and dining chairs are dirty.

Needs a complete makeover. Everything is old. Furniture and furnishings from the 1960s/70s. Carpet awful. Shower recess horrible - standing in ankle deep water. Bed very uncomfortable

location great, loads of parking.
the bed was shocking, missing a broken legs. had to put the mattress on the floor in order to sleep.

Convenient for where i needed to be.
Wall's between room's are very thin, i was a solo Traveller but you can hear the conversations of your neibouring room's clearly and was kept awake by the snoring from one side and the x rated on the other side, was tempted to give the guy a few tips but in the end kept my mouth shut.

we were able to get our room early as we arrived early from Wellington after a trip on the ferry from Picton and were very tired the manager was very understanding and helpful
the curtains could have blocked out the outside light a bit better room was very light to sleep in at night

Affordable for what we needed
It's a bit run down
Guests sitting at 6.30am on Saturday morning listening to loud music was a bit strange.
Out the back of the units could be better utilized, especially as there's doors leading outside.

quiet, clean
5.0 / 10.0
New carpet, fresh paint and clean sheets. Value for money.
No shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. One of the power points didn’t work so had to move the heater to plug in. Walls are very thin so have to hope you get quiet neighbours.
