Terrific accommodation for families and groups, well-equipped with beautiful views. Spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxation and adventures.
5.0 / 5.0
The property was exactly as advertised.
Lovely uninterrupted views of the lake with the sun streaming in thru the floor to ceiling windows.
During our 7 day winter stay we used almost all facilities with no issues.
The Deck was warm & sunny during the day.
The Spa was wonderful after a full day of skiing.
The Garage meant that our car windows weren't frozen with the early morning starts and -5c outside.
Plenty of parking space on site with extra on the quiet Cul-de-sac above.
The heating kept the house very cosy. Reverse Cycle aircon in the dining area and traditional heaters in each of the other rooms.
We didn't use the wood fire but kinderling and fire logs were provided.
The kitchen was well equipped with cutlery, crockery & utensils for a large group.
The beds were as represented, very comfortable, with lots of extra blankets if required and we all loved the electric recliners with USB chargers built in. (You need to supply your own cables.)
The house was very quiet over night but we did have one very stormy night when the wind roared and the rain pelted down but the house stood up well with only a couple of rattly windows.
There was an infant's porta cot supplied (which we used) and the downstairs sofa is also a good quality fold out double bed (which we did NOT use), both of these were pleasant surprises.
TV, mobile & Wifi reception were fine.
Great value for our large family group.
Thought is was "pretty good" so we booked it again for next year.

and large glass doors and windows. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped with everything you need to cook anything from eggs on toast to a fully fledged large family feast. The wood fire in the lounge room is stunning, and the heaters in each room work well. The shower pressure and temperature is bang on, perfect for when you get back from a big day on the slopes. The king size beds left you feeling energised and ready for a cracking day up the mountain. There’s ample room in the garage to store all your snowboards, and the WiFi handled several devices at once. There’s only two minor safety concerns that would make this place better than ever: a fence around the fireplace and a gate at the top of the stairs, both to fend off little adventurers. The check in instructions mention bringing your own baby gate however when you’re already several days into your driving adventure to the snow, it means having to buy one on the way/foregoing it altogether. Otherwise, 10/10 and will be back!!

First time to snowy mountain! This location was very convenient to drive snowy mountain.
Beautiful lake and mountain view from the deck.
This property could accommodate two families very comfortably.
Kitchen have all the utensils for cooking.
Slight improvement needed on the drive way, lot's of tree branches obstructing in and out.
Room heater goes off every couple of hours at night. It was mentioned in the description though.

We really enjoyed our stay. Terrific accommodation for a family of 6. Thanks so much!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Beautiful place for our group of 8 to escape. Lovely home, comfy beds, well equipped, with a balcony overlooking the lake. Lots of relaxation, adventure and laughs to be had on this property and in the surrounding area. Wonderful place to go to recharge with friends and family. Too late when we realised the days we booked were too short. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Good property for our family group of 6. Heaps of off street parking.
Suggestions for owner:
Heaters in rooms are good but timers cut out too early and rooms cool down a bit much due to single glazing. Invest in some house wide air conditioning and double glazing and your power bills will be cut by 75% A drying room/cupboard for ski gear would be a good add on.

This house overlooks Lake Jindabyne, providing a great view, especially during sunrise and sunset. The house was very spacious, with ample space for 8 people. There are heaters in every room. The kitchen had almost everything you needed (dishwasher, cutlery, crockery etc). The house is a short car drive from Jindabyne so you can drive to the supermarket if you had to buy something. The host was great as well, providing all details required. Overall, we enjoyed staying here.

View to Lake Jindabyne was amazing and the house was fully equip to cook and dine in. Extensive instructions, mostly on what not to do. Sad that people are so caless and abuse property. Large deposit of $500 held for 7 days in addition to full fee paid upfront. Disappointed about NO Wifi and had to share one hand towel among 4 guests for 3 nights.
Could I please suggest to leave one hand towel plus one soap together with each bath towel?
No dishwashing detergent and no extra garbage bag.
Rating is relate to value for money - paid the peak ski season rate but service was below average.

I do not like leaving card details on a unprotected pdf with the property manager. Otherwise flawless experience and great place to stay

We loved the house. It’s fully equiped with all you’ll need. Perfect location for us. Loads of wildlife including a large kangaroo in the driveway one morning and beautiful birds. You can walk down to the lakeside. Two lounge rooms so plenty of space. Highly recommended. (We bought a baby gate so the balcony was secure for our dachshund) Great place!!!

Big spacious house, comfortably slept everyone in our group (3 couples). Great view over the lake. Fireplace was nice. Owner was very flexible in our arrangements. Would book again.

Fantastic house in a beautiful position. Everything you need and more, and all provided with the comfort and convenience of guests in mind. Great living areas and bedrooms and really, really fabulous views from the house and deck. One of the best places we've stayed in Australia (and we've tried quite a few!). Also Autumn colours in the whole area are stunning. We will return for sure.
